Reclaiming My Name (M! Reader x Demon Slayer)
In a world where demons exist to eat humans, it's surprising how very few people know of their existence due to them only coming out at night. And many of those who do hunt them to protect the rest of the world. Many claim that once you turn into a demon, you can never be redeemed or turned back. However, there are very rare circumstances when that is false. And sometimes... some defy these laws...
It was a cold and snowy night in a snowy valley. The moon shuns brightly above, though was mostly covered by clouds. Thankfully, it wasn't snowing heavily, but one can tell that a storm was approaching, quickly.
No one's POV
The sound of a man panting frantically and a pair of feet running through the snow-covered ground could be heard on a hill. It was hard to make out their appearance due to tall trees blocking the moonlight. The person's mouth hanged open, revealing his large canine fangs as he could see his breath from the cold air. He occasionally glances over his grey shoulder behind him, as if being chased by something or someone. But due to his long, overgrown black hair, he could hardly see behind him half the time. Due to this, the man growls from the inconvenience before looking ahead of him again.
"D-damnit!" He mutters angrily under his panting. "How is this one human so powerful?!" He curses under his breath before making it to a small clearing with some moonlight around it. When he steps in, his body was now clear.
The person was a demon who looked to be in his late thirties. His skin was grey and his eyes were blood red. His clothes looked like they were cut apart multiple times, revealing parts of his body under the layers of cuts. His fingernails were long as his hair went all the way down his back.
He soon stops running when he reaches the center of the clearing and tries his best to catch his breath. Feeling his heart beating uncontrollably, he grabs the area on his chest where his heart would be as he growls in frustration.
"DAMNIT!!! HE'S JUST A DAMN HUMAN!!!" The demon shouts into the night sky at the top of his lungs. When he was done screaming, there was the faint sound of something clicking somewhere nearby, making the demon sweat uncontrollably as his eyes widen in fear. "?!" He gasps out loud.
He tried to run away from his position, but before he could a black and blue distortion ripple surrounds his body while a series of slashes that end in a light blue ripple cuts several parts of his skin. This causes his clothes to tear apart even more while long cuts cover his body, making the terrified demon scream in pain and agony as his blood oozes out from the fresh cuts.
When the ripple and slashes fade, he drops to his hands and knees before coughing up blood onto the snow beneath him. He could feel his vision fading as his whole body trembles.
'H-he already found me?! I-impossible!' He thought as he tries to stand up, but he fails from all the pain in his body and falls back on his knees.
He lifts his head and looks around the place, searching for the one who attacked him. He clenches his jaw as he sees no one was around, just trees and snow.
"Show yourself, bastard!" He demands in rage.
"..." For some time, there was no response. The only sounds that could be heard were the demon's breathing and a slight gust of wind, making the demon panic as his cuts began to quickly heal. He moves his mouth to say something again but stops when he heard someone stepping in the snow.
""He who desires but acts not, breeds pestilence."..." A man says flatly, his voice echoing across the area.
Hearing the voice made more sweat form on the demon's body as his eyes quickly glance around, searching for the voice.
"... Or so it is written." The other finishes, sounding like it came from the demon's left.
"!!!" The demon turns his head quickly, and his eyes widen when he saw who was standing under a tree.
A man who appears to be in his early twenties stood under the tree. His brushed-backed hair was white as snow while his eyes were a navy blue. He wore strange blue and black clothing with an armored gauntlet on his left arm. At his chest, a red gem was placed on a golden locket.
Strapped to his waist was a sheathed katana. The scabbard was black with yellow ribbons strapped under a black hand-guard with what looked like a yellow lightning bolt going all the way down the scabbard until the end, where a dragon's head with its jaw opened was placed. As for the hand-guard, it was a black triangle with dark clouds and sparks engraved into it on both the top and bottom. As for the handle, it was wrapped in white and yellow.
In his left hand was another sheathed katana in a black scabbard, made of traditional lacquered wood, and features several metallic ornaments on its far end that had a blue with gold dot accents sageo, the cord used to tie the katana to the waist. The handle has a pattern closer to most katanas, having the traditional diamond shape in the negative space. There is a gold dragon-styled menuki inserted underneath the handle to allow for the fingers to grip. The handguard is gold and deep navy blue, shaped like an octagon with two trapezoidal halves, each with gold dot pattern patches and are in a grove like motif with gold rings, inside of which are various circles in clusters of three, arranged in triangular patterns, and the gold habaki/fuller is also with a similar embossed pattern.
The man slowly walks into the clearing with an emotionless look on his face, which terrified the demon. The latter, in fear, jumps back on his feet as he turns to the man, who stops walking when he way a few feet away from him. The two don't say anything as they simply stare at each other, one standing in fear as the other was calm and collected.
"H-how did you manage to catch up to me all the way out here so quickly?!" The demon shout as he points at the man, who folds his arms from boredom. "I ma-made sure to-!"
"Do you really think that matters?" The white-haired man asks as he gave the demon a cold glare. "Especially when you and I both know how this'll end."
"..." The demon doesn't say anything. He was shaking too much and he was sweating like crazy. Seeing as the man wasn't doing anything, the demon recklessly leaps towards the man as he roars in rage, not thinking straight.
The man doesn't say or do anything as he saw the demon approach. His face and poster remained the same even though the demon was running at him at an incredibly quick speed. When the demon was right in front of his face, time seems to slow down as the demon tries to stab him with his long and pointy fingernails in the chest. However, the man effortlessly blocks the attack by swinging his scabbard in hand at the demon's hand, causing the latter's hand to reel back from the impact. He was about to attack again, though out of nowhere, six small swords that looked like they were made out of glass appeared over the man's shoulders, making the demon's eyes widen in shock as he gasps.
Time's flow resumes to normal while the demon jumps back as the blades flew at him, though they missed and instead flew into the snowy ground where he once stood. Upon impact, the blades break and shatter like glass before disappearing. The demon looks on with a confused look as to how the mortal was able to do his trick.
'H-how-?!'
"If you dare try to compare me to humans, then that is where your failure begins." He says, drawing his blade and points it at the demon while still holding the scabbard in his other hand. His blade reflects off of the moon's light, blinding the demon a little, though he mainly focused on the man instead.
"..." The demon still doesn't say anything, just growling at the man like a scared animal.
Seeing as the demon is no longer responding, he places his scabbard on his waist beside his other sword while slowly getting into a battle stance. He then grips onto the handle tightly with both hands as he stares at the demon in front of him.
Feeling even more scared, the demon panics and threw his arms up as black balls of smoke were summoned in his palms. "Damn you to hell!" He shouts.
Out from the shadows of the trees, shadow-like figures that resembled the demon started to form and walk/crawl out. They began to quickly surround the man and got in front of their master, soon creating a wall between the two.
The demon couldn't see the man behind the army of shadow clones anymore, but he thought that he had the upper hand now, making him grin widely. However...
"My power is absolute." He barely heard the man mutter, making his grin disappear.
The man lowers his head while his shadow covers his eyes. He sheathes his blade back into its scabbard while crouching a little and holding both the handle and scabbard. A dark blue aura surrounds his body for a moment before he suddenly moves so fast that there was an afterimage left in his place. Faster than the eye could see, he moves around so quickly while creating dozens of massive slashes in the air that made all clones freeze in place. His body soon returns to his original spot but instead, his back was now facing all the clones. He knelt on one knee as he slowly sheathes his blade back into its scabbard. When the two clicked together, all the clones suddenly were cut into dozens of pieces simultaneously, killing all of them.
Upon seeing his small army gone, the demon couldn't even process what just happened. "W-what?! H-h-how could you do that?! That sword is an ordinary sword!"
"Never underestimate the power of the Yamato." The man states coldly as he slowly stood up and turns to face the demon. "It may not be able to slay you "demons", but its power is far greater than any ordinary blade." He continues, venom in his voice when he said "demons".
"..." The demon growls again as he felt his blood boil. He summons more clone shadows that stayed back from the man, but still blocked between the two.
As that happened, the man places his sword, the Yamato, back on his side before grabbing his other blade. He pulls it out to reveal a yellow blade with small black symbols that translates to "Alpha and Omega" at the bottom of the blade.
He got into another fighting stance as he waits to see what the clones would do. Seeing as they were doing nothing, he dug his heels into the ground as he took in a deep breath before exhaling. "I don't even need to use any breathing techniques to kill you."
Once again, the demon growls in rage. His army began to charge at the man, who remained calm. He leaps into the air while raising his blade above his head before swinging it down onto one of the shadows, slicing it in half. As the sliced clone dissolves, several other clones started to run towards the man.
Seeing this, the man motions his hand to the side before several of those blue glass swords surround his body and spun around him. A few clones that got within range of the blades were sliced in half without much effort, causing most to step back. However, a couple of clones still tried to attack the man. The latter slices another clone to his left vertically before turning around slices off the head of another.
After, he looks over his shoulder and saw a different clone trying to pounce on him. Just before it could, the man suddenly vanishes from where he was standing, making the clone confused. The blue swords suddenly surround a different clone but they all pointed towards it. Then, they all flew forward and impaled it all at once. Just as the clone looks around, the man suddenly reappears behind it before stabbing it in the back and pulls his blade out. Just as he did, he spun his blade in his hand and stabs a clone that was just about to swing at him from behind in the chest.
When that was done, he saw seven clones running at him all at once. He sheathes his blade back into its scabbard while he slides a foot back and closes his eyes, keeping his hand on the handle. He clenches his jaw and took a deep breath before letting it out, causing steam to blow out of his jaw. As that happened, electricity sparks around his handle, his sword, and even himself.
'Second Form: Rice Spirit.' He thought. He reopens his eyes quickly, revealing his irises to have vanished, as lightning coats his body. He then swings his blade that unleashes five electrified arching slashes all in a single moment, slicing most of the incoming clones except for two.
The lighting soon fades from his body and sword as his eyes return to normal. Seeing this as an opportunity, the two clones sprint at the man, who quickly sheathes his blade in response as they got closer. Just as one was in his face, the man moves his fingers under Yamato's handle and flings it out, causing the butt-end of the handle to hit the clone's eye, stunning it. The man quickly grabs Yamato's handle, spun it around, and cuts off the clone's shoulder and head.
All that was left were two clones and the demon. The demon looked on with mixed emotions; awe, fear, confusion, anger. His body was trembling in fear seeing the man take out his clones by himself. He felt anger towards the man for making him look like a fool. He was confused as to how one man could do all of this. And, he was in awe at the power the man had.
"W-what sorcery is this?!" The demon yells, pointing at the man who sheaths his blade yet again. "You're no demon! So how do you have that much power?!"
"..." The man doesn't reply. He slightly lowers his head in silence, his shadow blocking his eyes. "Do you "demons" truly believe you know what power is...?" He mutters quietly, venom in his voice.
"Huh?!" The demon couldn't hear what the man was saying due to their distance and how quiet the man spoke.
"..." The man doesn't say anything else. Instead, a faint blue flaming aura surrounds him before a blue hue glows at his chest. He clenches his jaw tightly and raising his head, roaring into the night sky, sounding demonic. As he did, a magic circle was summoned under his feet as a bright blue light consumes his body. The blue hue in his chest explodes, creating a blue ring of fire several yards wide, surrounding the two.
"This. Is! POWER!" He shouts, each word sounding more demonic than the last.
The light around him explodes and quickly clears, revealing something new, something powerful. It looked to be a blue demonic, yet humanoid creature. The creature has four wings folded down to almost represent a coat's tails separating into four. Its head had a crest that has a fin shape at the top, with the horns resembles a traditional samurai helmet and assume hollowed and tube-like shape, venting energy in a manner resembling exhausts. Its neck has a membrane that curves inwards, the spine merges with dark-colored bones exposed at the top. The solid part of its body resembles samurai armor and the whole body is wreathed in silver aura. It had two blue arm-mounted blades and a thick reptilian tail with a barbed tip that extends from between its shoulders that swayed. It has a bright blue aura as its teeth are fangs that show.
At its hip was the man's sheathed Nichirin Blade.
The creature slowly opens its mouth and exhales, its breath visible from the cold, revealing its pointy, long blue tongue. It stares at the demon with a cold, deadly glare, growling lowly.
Feeling a powerful aura from the creature, the demon's legs suddenly felt weak and gave in, causing him to fall to his feet in awe. His face looked terrified, his body trembling from feeling its power.
"T-there's no way! H-h-how can-?!"
"I am the son of a true demon named Sparda. Any who call themselves "demons" have no right to be considered similar to me." The creature says, growling deeply at the end.
The demon had nothing to say. He was frozen in place due to the overwhelming power he could feel.
As this happened, the two clones had no idea what to do. They kept glancing between the two, not sure how to handle this. However, without thinking one of the clones started to sprint towards the creature, but before it could get far, a blue blur resembling a disk spun at it and sliced it in two.
The blur spun around the demon and remaining clone before flying at the creature, who caught it above its head. Turns out the blur was a blade similar to those that the man created, though a little bigger. The blade quickly dissolves in its hand, shattering like glass.
And before the last clone could do anything else, a blue blade stabs it from behind, causing it to dissolve. Behind it, was a copy of the creature, though it too looked like it was made of glass. But once the dead clone fell on the ground, the copy dissolves like smoke.
The black smoke in the demon's hands dissolves shortly after the last clone was killed. He looks horrified by this but stops and looks up when a pair of blue feet suddenly appear in front of him.
"Pathetic." The creature snarls while unsheathing its Nichirin Blade and points the tip at the demon's face.
"W-wait!" The demon shouts, holding his shaking hands in his face. "I-I can be of use!"
"..." The creature doesn't move or say anything, just staring at him, waiting.
"I-I can do whatever you want! I can get you a-a-any information you want! I-I-I-!"
"What I need is far beyond your understanding."
"T-then tell me! I-I'm sure if you give me a chance, I c-can help!"
"..." The creature went quiet for a moment, thinking of the offer. Though it was hard for the demon to see what it was thinking.
Seeing as he wasn't dead yet, the demon slowly lowers his arms and looks up at the creature, anxious for its answer.
"...No." The creature eventually spoke up, making the demon's heart skip a beat.
The demon moves his mouth to say something, but the creature raises its blade to kill him. However, seeing as the creature now made itself venerable, the demon, in an incredible speed, lifts his arm and tried to impale the creature. Just as his nails were an inch away from its chest, the creature suddenly disappears in a blur.
The demon glances around the area to find the creature, but the latter suddenly reappears behind the demon. And in one swing with its blade, it slices off the demon's neck with incredible speed, faster than a blink of the eye. The demon doesn't have any time to say anything else as his head sides off his neck into the snow as its body fell onto the snow. Then, it quickly dissolves into nothing as the same blue hue covers the creature. Within a second, the light and flames fade, and the man was standing where the demon was, giving a deadpan look where the demon once was.
"How disappointing." He says as he combed his hair back with his hand to the way it was before. He sighs as he held his Yamato in hand and turns around. He starts to walk away from the aftermath, but a certain voice made him suddenly stop in his tracks.
"Hey, y/n!" A young male's voice was heard from his side, though it sounded like it had a faint echo.
"Huh...?" The man, y/n, mutters, turning in the direction of the voice.
To his side, he saw a young male running over to him. He was a muscular young man with rather tanned skin and an athletic physique. He has ruffled, black hair with burgundy tips, combed back to expose his forehead, and wide, dark red eyes with white pupils that appear lighter around the lower section of his irises. He also has a scar on the top left of his forehead. He wore a uniform that is known by others as a Demon Slayer uniform, which was a dark-brown gakuran jacket, a white belt, baggy pants that extend into tabi socks, a pair of zōri with red straps, and bands of white cloth wrapped tightly around his calves resembling Kyahan, all beneath his green checkered haori. Strangely, he carried a large wooden box on his back.
The male soon stops by his side and smiles up at him, causing a small smile to form on y/n's lips. He was about to say something but stops when he heard a commotion behind the male. The two turn in the direction and saw to other males a little bit of a distance away. Though for whatever, one seemed to be chasing the other around.
The one being chased was a young man with fair skin and downward-sloped, scared-looking eyes that fade from soft brown to gold. He has short, yellow hair of varying lengths, cutting off squarely at the ends where it fades to a darker orange color, that falls in front of his face in uneven bangs. He wears a paler brown version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, which consists of a dark brown gakuran jacket, a white belt around his waist, and hakama pants that extend, as well as a white-triangle patterned, yellow and orange gradient haori. As well as this, he also sports a pair of Kyahan, tied at the front in 3 white bows, with the same pattern as his haori, pale brown tabi socks, and white-laced zōri.
Right behind him, was another young man chasing him, yelling about something unintelligible from where the other two were.
This person was yet another young man. However, his attire was vastly different than the rest. It seemed that he wore a standard Demon Slayer uniform, which consists only of the baggy hakama pants, his tinted a dark gray-blue, which he fastens around his hips with a thick belt of fluffy brown animal fur. The usual cloth leg-wraps are replaced with what appears to be knee-high socks of a furry hide which expose his heels and toes, which also appear to be what fastens the sandal-bases he wears on his feet. His most defining feature is the gray, hollowed-out boar's head he wears to mask his own. He was about average height and had a pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build, possessing large, defined muscles most notably over his stomach and arms.
"..." Y/n and the boy watch the scene unfold with confusion written on their faces. However, the boy soon broke out of it as he ran over to the others to break up the scene.
As he did, y/n continues to stare, his confusion soon replaced with a soft smile as he closes his eyes. "Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira..." He whispers, muttering each person's name in order. He soon reopens his eyes and saw that the trio had vanished as if they were never truly there. "After all this time, huh...?" He mutters, chuckling softly as he turns around. "Well, those were..."interesting" times, I suppose..."
When he did, he noticed that it was beginning to snow. He looks up at the cloudy night sky as a gust of wind blew by, making y/n's smile fade. "I need to get back..." He mutters before beginning to walk, not looking back behind him.
Time skip
It's been a few hours since y/n's fight ended. He was currently walking down a snowy hill with a dead boar on his shoulder, casually carrying it like nothing. Sometime after he left the area, he found the boar, killed it, and carried it with him. Since then, he's been walking in silence, deep in his thoughts.
After some time though, he stops at the top of a small hill and stares down the slope, seeing a small cottage at the bottom. He hides behind a tree next to him while setting his kill on the snowy ground and resting his Yamato against the tree. He then peaks his head out from behind the tree and studies the home for a moment. When he saw that there was smoke coming out from the chimney, a small smile forms on his lips.
He relaxes and lets out a relieved sigh before crouching down in front of the tree and touches it for a moment. After, his fingers slowly caress and touches it until he could barely feel a crack in it. Then, he dug his fingernails into the crack, pulling out a rectangular piece of wood that revealed a hole with the tree that kept a folded blue haori, a white robe, and black pants in it.
He glances over to the building for a second then back to the clothing. He starts to quickly undress from his current attire before grabbing and changing into the one in the tree. When he was done, he folds his old outfit, places it into the hole like his previous clothes, and puts the slab back into place on the tree. He then straps his sheathed Nichirin Blade to his waist. After all that, he grabs his Yamato by the scabbard before it suddenly dissolves and disappears in a blue light.
Feeling himself starting to relax a little, he stands up and lets out a long sigh whilst closing his eyes. He stays like this momentarily and was about to open his eyes, but heard a familiar voice behind him, making barely look over his shoulder.
"Y/n! You ready to go?" He heard Tanjiro ask as two other familiar voices argue further back, though he tried to ignore them.
"..." Y/n slowly reopens his eyes and turns around halfway to find the young Demon Slayer behind him, smiling at him a little. Behind the teen, he saw Hashibira and Zenitsu arguing about something, though it looked like Zenitsu was overly crying about something while on his knees.
"..." Y/n doesn't say anything as he simply watches stares at the trio with a nostalgic look. The other two notice him and look over, while Zenitsu was still comically crying for whatever reason.
When he blinks, the trio in front of him was gone. He remained still for a few seconds before his face became emotionless as he sighs. "To think it would take a few years to even remember them..." He shook his head while grabbing the corpse next to him and places it on his shoulder like before and then starts walking down the hill to the building.
After walking for a bit, he finally made it to the home. He places the boar beside the steps to the entrance and slides the door open.
"I'm back." He says softly while keeping his head low before sliding the door again behind him.
"Welcome back." He heard a soft feminine voice greet him.
He looks up and smiles a little upon seeing a familiar face. Sitting in front of a brewing teapot was a beautiful woman around his age. She had long black hair that went to her hips with a white strand of hair covering the side of her face. Her black eyes stare at him while giving him a soft smile.
She wore basically what y/n wore, except that instead of her color being blue, it was black.
Y/n walks in and sat across from her on the other side of the brewing tea. He stares at her as the woman was busy getting the tea ready.
"I got us a boar." He says softly, causing the woman to look at him.
"That's wonderful. We were almost out of meat." She says. As she did, she pulls something out from behind her before handing y/n a small box. "Eat. You must be hungry."
Y/n nods before taking the box from her. "Thank you," He says while opening the small box. Upon opening it, inside the box was a handful of different kinds of foods including rice, cooked meat, etc.
He grabs the chopsticks that were placed within the box and began to eat, a small smile forming on his lips. "It's as good as always." He says before continuing to eat.
"I'm glad you think so." The woman smiles more before starting to pour them their drinks and hands y/n his, which he gratefully took with a thankful nod and takes a sip.
The two said nothing for a while. Y/n just ate his food in peace while the woman watches the fire. Eventually, though, the woman's smile started to fade a little as she turns to the male. "...We were found, weren't we...?" She asks, her gaze lowering to the teapot.
"..." Y/n slowly stops drinking, slowly lowering his cup while looking at her with a small frown. "Hikari, I-."
The woman, Hikari, shook her head as she stares at him with a serious look. "I've known you long enough to know when you're lying and when something is bothering you... Just...be honest with me for once, please." She says, a hint of sadness in her voice at the end.
"..." Y/n averts her gaze for a moment, closing his eyes as he did. He soon lets out a sigh before looking at her again. "...Yeah..." He mutters hesitantly. "We have..."
"I see," Hikari whispers, taking a sip of her own drink. "By whom?"
"Slayers..." He mutters while his eyes slowly turn to the fire.
"Oh..." Hikari's eyes turn to the fire as well.
"Yeah..."
The two don't say anything for some time after that. They just watched the fire burn and listened to the wind howling far off. Feeling a bit awkward, y/n eventually stands up, walks to an open window, and stares out of it and into the forest.
"In a bit, we're going to need to pack up whatever we can carry along with preparing meals that will last in case we don't find or can't afford any place to stay a night or so." He says.
"I understand that, y/n. This isn't the first time we had to do this..." Hikari says while standing up and walks to y/n. "But, I..." She trails off, something bothering her.
Y/n didn't turn to her as he heard her speaking. Instead, he just kept his eyes on the forest as it snows. That was until he felt her grab his hand, making him turn to her with a confused look.
"Yeah?" He asks.
"I..." Hikari was hesitant to speak up, choking on her words.
Something was off, y/n thought. He was about to speak up but stops as he saw her free hand slowly move to her stomach, which the two both stare at. "I-I'm..."
It took y/n a second to realize what she was trying to say, but when it finally clicked with him, his eyes widened a little. Hearing her still stumbling on her words, he hugs her tightly, catching Hikari off guard. "Now isn't the time. Let's talk about it when we settle down again, for good this time." He whispers.
"..." Hikari was hesitant to answer. She held onto him as she looks into his eyes. "Promise...?" She asks, her voice low.
Y/n nods as he stares back into her eyes, sincerity in his eyes. "Promise. When we find a place, we won't ever need to worry about running away again."
Hikari doesn't say anything right away. Instead, she smiles softly before letting out a defeated sigh. "Alright...I trust you."
"Thank you. Now, get whatever's needed to pack up. We'll leave when the storm clears."
Hikari nods and slowly letting go of y/n. She walks over to the door to the side before stopping and turns to y/n when she heard him clear his throat.
"Thank you, Hikari, for...staying by my side all this time," Y/n says sincerely. "Ever since I lost my memories, I-."
"You don't need to say it. You know that I'll stay by your side. It doesn't matter if you're part demon or not, you're still the y/n I know."
"..." Y/n doesn't say anything, though a small blush couldn't help but form on his cheeks, causing Hikari to chuckle softly.
And with that, Hikari left y/n alone in the room to do as planned. When he saw her slide the door behind her, he sighs before turning to the window and stares off into space, thinking deeply. 'So much has happened over the last few years... I hope you all are doing well...' He thought. He walks up to the window and shuts it before everything fades to black.
To be continued...
Hey, everyone. I'm so sorry for taking so long to get this out. Stuff happened in life that took time away from me to update.
I hope you did enjoy this full teaser. As I said before, this is mainly an experiment for now. I am not 100% certain that I will continue this story or not. I have been constantly arguing with myself about how to take the story if I decide to continue due to being new to Demon Slayer. I also have not read a whole lot of fanfics, so I do not know what is considered a "cliché" yet.
And, with many other concept teasers that I've made in the past, this is not the final product. Depending on what I decide for the future or receiving enough feedback (if anyone is generous enough to give some), some things may change in the future. Most of the ideas will be kept, but some characters/details may be altered or straight up removed. I know that may be a strange process, but it is there for me to help make a better story in the end.
So, yeah. Thank you all for your patience. It will most likely be a while before I decide the fate of this story, so if you did enjoy it, maybe leave a like or whatnot. I am not forcing you to though, but it does help me understand what the overall opinion is. The more likes it gets, the higher chance I may continue, but it is not a guarantee. Just keep that in mind.
That is all I had to say. Thank you for your time. I hope you have a wonderful day/night. See ya.
