[18+] The Hell Breaker (??? X M! reader)

In the middle of an flat desert, there was no signs of life as far as the eye could see. There wasn't even a single plant or rock to be seen in any direction. The once bright and blue sky was blocked by dark clouds, practically blocking all light coming from the sun. Heavy wind blew sand and dust up into the air, making it harder for any one or thing currently out to see any further than a couple of miles.

No one's POV

It was somewhat quiet in the dessert. Besides the wind howling, it was practically silent. A couple dozens of miles out, a massive sandstorm as tall as of at least a one hundred feet that stretched out beyond the view of vision, was seen slowly approaching. The storm looked too dangerous for any human to survive in, making it important for anybody outside to find shelter immediately. However, somewhere nearby, the sound of an engine roaring was slowly beginning to approach.

A man was currently driving a hover bike across the desert, trying to drive away from the storm. His bike looked old as a lot of its brown paint was chipped off and what remained looked faded out. The engine was exposed from under the driver's seat, allowing sand to get in it. The pieces of metals that held the bike together appeared worn out, as some of the smaller pieces like the right hind wind seemed as it was about to tear off at any moment.

As for the driver, he didn't look more older than twenty. He seemed to be muscular and around 6'1. His messy black hair blew in the wind as he drove. What stuck out from his hair was the fact that a large strand of the front was almost gold. He wore goggles to prevent any dust or sand from getting into his eyes and had a red scarf that trailed behind him cover his mouth and nose. His scarf is as long as his back, which the tails flew behind his bike as he drove.

His attire was a bit odd to most people. He wore an unzipped light brown cotton jacket with its collar covering his scarf's sides. He wore a black shirt under his jacket that had a little bit of dried blood around the chest area. Both of his hands and arms were wrapped in bandages that covered all of his skin. Over the bandages, his right hand had a dark, long, brown fingerless leather glove that went into his jacket's sleeve, with a black leather glove on his left hand. His navy blue pants were torn near the ends of his pants and wore kneepads over it as well. At his waist was a black leather belt with two holsters strapped to his sides, one holding a silver hand cannon and the other held a gold and black hand cannon. Finally, he wore torn black leather military boots that were covered in dried blood and dirt.

Not only did he have the two guns in his holsters, he also had a pump shotgun strapped to his back. The metal was mostly a dark grey besides the fore-stock and stock, which was brown. The side of the stock had a red symbol on both sides, clearly visible to anyone who looks at it.

After a few seconds of keeping his eyes ahead of him, he took a quick glance at his left rear-view window and noticed that the storm was beginning to catch up with him. He glares under his goggles and lets out a low growl of annoyance while frowning. He steps on the pedal and twists his handle bars before revving up and drove faster, leaving the storm behind him. As he did, there was a faint sound that resembled a muffled roar several miles behind him coming from within the storm. He didn't seemed fazed as he focuses back onto the empty desert ahead of him and continues to drive.

???'s POV

After almost two hours of driving in silence, the man noticed something a few miles ahead of him rather quickly. This was due to everything else around being nothing but sand and dust. He tried to squint his eyes and lean in a little in his seat to see if that'll help him identify what he saw, but it didn't. He couldn't really make out what it was due to how far he was, but whatever he saw was black and small. Becoming curios by the anomaly, he drove as fast as his bike could, but made sure to not go full speed in order to prevent blowing up the engine.

A little under a half an hour passes until the man got close enough to identify the anomaly. What he saw was a small, worn out wooden cabin that looked to be abandoned for some years. From what he could tell, the windows were shattered as the wood looked old and about to collapse in on itself any day now. What he guessed was the windmill besides it was torn in half as the upper half looked as if it was ripped off and fell besides the cabin, making the abandoned feeling more clear now.

"..." The man doesn't say anything as he studied the place. After a few more minutes, he was within a few yards from the place. He slows down his hover bike until he was a few feet from the windmill, feeling like that was close enough to drive. Once his bike fully stops moving, he took a minute to scan the place more, soaking everything in. He could barley see the inside of the cabin due to how the interior was practically pitch dark. But, he didn't really care.

He looks to his left and right and noticed that behind the cabin, the sand that was being blown up and forward due to the incoming storm didn't look normal. Instead, it stops and spreads as if something massive and round was behind the cabin instead of just sand for miles. The man looks around his feet and found a small pebble laying on the floor.

"...Hm..." He hums quietly as he stares at the rock for a moment, thinking of trying something.

After a few seconds, he gets up from his bike. He walks to the pebble, picks it up, and studies it. He studies the pebble for just a moment before spinning around and throws it behind the cabin. Just like the sand, the pebble hits something like an invisible object. Upon impact, there was an almost ripple-like effect made up of electricity, that disappears after a few seconds.

When he saw the pebble hit the floor, a small crack of a smile forms on his lips under his scarf. "...Finally..." He mumbles quietly to himself.

No one's POV

The man lets out a quiet sigh before pulling his scarf down from his mouth and nose. Just as he did, he barley heard the roar from earlier coming from behind him again, though farther away this time. He glances over his shoulder and saw the storm coming his way, though it was dozens of miles away from him unlike a while ago. He blinks before turning to his bike and pulls out a small rectangular piece of metal from his pocket.

He holds it up toward his bike before the bike glows a blue hue and starts to break apart. The parts hover over the ground and starts to shrink into small blocks almost as small as an ant before floating to the object in his hand. There, they merge with the object and disappear into it like nothing.

This happened for almost a minute. When all of the pieces were gone, he places the metal back into his pocket and walks to the front door of the cabin. He pulls out a card with his personal information from a different pocket and holds it up to where the door bell would be. A green light glows from the wall and scans his card. A few seconds passes by before the light disappears and a small noise came from the door. He lowers his arm and places his card back in his pocket as the door lifts up and a bright light came from the doorway, causing him to cover his eyes for a moment.

Behind the doorway was almost a completely new world. Instead of only sand, there was a city. The city looked almost like it came from a sci-fi movie or book or video game, with countless neon lighted signs everywhere for stores, bars, repair shops. etc. As the deeper you go into the city, the buildings would become larger, look more expensive, and become taller as well. One building at the center of the city almost touched the sky, the tallest and most noticeable building compared to the rest.

The city was surrounded by a fifty mile radius electronic dome that displayed what it would've looked like without the storm, clouds, etc., and was taller than the tallest building in the city. The sky was clear with the moon shining brightly high in the sky above the area along with countless starts. The place made it seem like the outside world never existed at all, giving it a friendly and calm atmosphere.

Back to the man, he lifts his goggles up from his eyes to his forehead. His black eyes scan the area for a moment, taking in the scenery. He couldn't help but crack a small smile. However, a sudden pain to his chest, almost like a knife stabbing him, made him squint and grunt in pain. A faint glow grew in his chest that was barley visible to anyone who was a foot close to him. The pain in his chest made him instinctively hold his chest in his palm as he grunts more and clenches his jaw. "D-damnit... R-remember what you're here for, y/n..." He mutters to himself, causing him to close his eyes, lower his head, and let out a quiet sigh of dismay. "Y-you're here for information about your brother...n-not to settle down..."

A moment passes before the glowing in his chest disappears along with the pain. When it did, the man, y/n, slowly opens his eyes and looks up at the city again while letting out a long exhale. His face turns blank as he lets go of his chest slowly. A necklace drops from under his scarf and dangles at his chest.

The necklace was silver and resembles a dragon with one of its wings spread out as it was trying to grab something with its claws. A blood red gem was placed within the eye socket and shines for a brief second.

Another moment passes before y/n walks inside the doorway and into the city. He shoves his hands into his pockets as he walks down a roar. As he did, the door closes behind him and lasers burst down like a cell's door, preventing anything from getting in or out without the right gear.

...

Outside, the storm continues to come closer to the city. Within the storm, something massive moves underneath the surface of the sand, like a shark hunting a bird in the ocean. It lets out a muffled roar loud enough to cause at least a dozen people to go deaf before burrowing deeper into the sand as if it was never there. After, dozens of screeches and quieter roars were heard far deeper with the storm before everything goes black.

To be continued...?

Hey... I'm not sure if this will get an update. Was bored and kind of made this as I wrote, so I don't really have much planned out yet, which isn't how I write. Plus this has only been in my head for a few days. But, whatever. What do you guys think? Let me know because I'm genuinely am curious. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night. See ya.
