For Memorial Day this year, our band director asked us if anybody could volunteer to play for a Memorial Day service. I volunteer for anything band related, so I did.

It's today and I'm pretty nervous for it. We have a small volunteer band of like 18 people and I am the only flute, meaning I have to play piccolo to be heard.

We're also wearing our marching band uniforms outside in the heat because it's being held for veterans at a memorial park.

So it's going to be pretty serious and important... which I'll do horrible with.
