Turns out, Adrain did know where to find Elliot.

" I don't like this dress. I feel exposed," I say getting out his car. He drove a black Mercedes and the inside smelled just like him.

It was intoxicating.

He smirks. " I think it looks fine."

His eyes look up and down my body seductively. The outfit he chooses for me left little to the imagination.

I wore a very short and very tight red latex dress that pushed my breasts up, a blacker chocker, and thigh high black latex boots.

I looked like a bondage Barbie.

" Are you I sure I should look like this? Shouldn't I look more," I throw my hands up into the air, " I don't know, innocent?"

Adrain eyes left my breasts and looked at me.

" No, you need to stand out. So many women will look dirty and used but not you. You will look desirable," he answers.

" I hope your right because if this doesn't work I'm putting your head on silver platter."

He looked confident, not phased by my comment at all. " I'm never wrong."

I hated arrogance. If you thought human men are bad, vampires are worst.

He smirks. " Only for you."

" Lucky me," I say sarcastically.

With incredibly fast vampire speed, suddenly he was right in front of me. His stormy blue eye staring down at me. The smirk on face gone.

He leaned down until his face was inches from mine. " If you weren't met for Alexander, I would take you for myself."

" Then why don't you then," the words left my mouth before I could think.

He smirked then pulled away.
" Come on. The auction is about to start. Remember don't talk and keep your head down."

I nodded.

Adrain straightened out his well fitted all black suit (he changed before we got here) and started walking. I followed behind with my head down, wondering what was earlier about.

He was so close and yet I didn't back away like I should have. It was almost like I wanted him to kiss me. But that's impossible, I don't like his kind.

I shake away the thoughts and walk into the abandoned warehouse where the auction was held.

No one was inside.

This wasn't part of the plan.

As if Alexander could read my thoughts and sensed I was very suspicious, he speaks up.

" It's a decoy before we get to the secret door. If someone who wasn't on the list showed up then they would just think it's an abandoned building."

" That's smart so no one could wander into the auction," I say.

No one wonder it was hard to find Elliot. If you didn't know what you were looking then you would just think the trail ran cold.

Adrain walks us to a brick wall and starts feeling around.

" The door is around here somewhere. Here we go," he says when his hand pushes a brick into the wall. Once the brick sunk back, a door covered in bricks opened.

Cool.

He turns around and faces me. " once your through this door there's no turning back."

"Who said anything about turning back? I'm ready."

He smiles. All the other times, it was fun and playful. However, this one felt different. Before I could figure it out, he quickly changes back to his playful self.

" Shall we?" he asked.

" Lead the way."
