Reina: In this chapter, Lamia makes a comment about Echo's Japanese. Technically, all of the characters speak in Japanese. Echo, however, speaks Japanese to the characters, English to Alicia and people outside of this story, and Spanish to herself (because she can). Lamia mentions this, as Echo did drop a few English phrases that Lamia didn't know - like dabbing. (Yes, Echo did dab once, but Lamia asked what the hell she was doing. Not important right now.) That's why Echo's Japanese is "strange."

Annnnnnnnnnnndddddddd the story changed again.

Leo: Is that a bad thing?

Reina: For you, yes.

Leo: DID YOU JUST SHIP ME WITH THAT HOS***AN THAT TRIED TO KIDNAP READER-CHAN?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

Takumi: WAIT WHAT

Reina: Uh, no. In one of my other stories yes. It'll only happen here if Reader-chan picks Alfonse. Or Cori~. Maybe. I don't know.

Leo and Takumi: .......... No. Just no.

Reina: I have absolute authority here.

Leo: Ugh

Takumi: So what happens Reina?

Reina: You'll have to see~.

Takumi: Ugh. Really?

Reina: Yes. Now go fetch my Fire Emblem Heroes Game.

Takumi: I AM NOT YOUR MAID

Leo: *snickers*

Reina: Too bad. Let's move onto the chapter!

Chapter 27: Your World Has Been Changed

You blink at Lamia. "Lamia?"

"Can we talk somewhere in private?" She asked. "I'd prefer it if no one overheard our conversation.

You nodded. "Of course." You motion for her to follow you. Leaving the corridor, you move through the passageways and up the stairs to your room, locking it so that no one could enter - except for Niles, but you hoped that he was bothering some of the other retainers, like Kaze, Tsubaki, Odin, Lawlos, etc.

"What do you want to talk about?" You ask after shaking your head.

"Several things..." Lamia replied as she jumped on your bed. "For one thing... Where the hell is Echo? I thought she was with you."

You groan. "She kept talking about weird stuff that didn't make sense.... But I did detect that she was sad...."

"It seems she carries a heavy burden with a difficult past.... There's not much we can do if she doesn't reach out to us."

You nod. "Yeah.... If I only understood what she was trying to convey."

"We may never know. At least she wasn't speaking in another language... Then again, her Japanese is still cryptic, like she was from another time and place."

You look back at Lamia as a thought suddenly occurred to you. "Wasn't Leora in charge of a province?"

Lamia scowled, but nodded. "Yeah. The Lyric province, which is in Anime Europe. With her gone, I could regain my throne. Mom and Dad will be glad to see me...."

You tilt your head. "Wait... If your parents are alive, why aren't they in charge?"

"Illness."

"O-Oh...."

Lamia sighed. "They've been like that for a while. I hope that they get better soon."

A few seconds pass. Lamia looks at you. "Do you have any plans?"

"Plans.....?"

"Well, are you going to stay as a maid?"

"I don't know. Echo may or may not have asked me that as well."

"If you're not sure.... Why don't you join me on a journey?"

"What kind of journey?" You ask suspiciously. "It better not be to destroy a dragon that traveled through time or to kill a goddess who flooded the earth."

"What? No. Just... An extended journey to the Lyric province."

"Why?"

"Because I want you to meet our parents, Lucy."

"What? Why? You're making about as much sense as Echo right now!"

Lamia sighed. She got up off the bed and walked over to you, hugging you tightly.

"(Y/N)... I want you to come with me because you're my baby sister."

Time came to a screeching halt as your world collapsed around you. Your lungs seized up, causing you to gasp for air as your mind began to whirl, attempting to process what had exited Lamia's mouth.

"S-sister?"

Lamia nodded. "I've been looking for you ever since you disappeared, Lucy."

"Ho-How...?"

"You were kidnapped."

You pushed away from Lamia. "But what about my brother and sisters? Back in Anime England?"

Lamia froze, as if she didn't know what to say, before finding her words. "Well.... It's like Cora's situation, to be honest. You have a birth family, but an adopted family as well. I'm not making you pick a side in a war or anything... I just want to start our relationship over, so that we are sisters as opposed to.... Whatever the hell we were. And our parents would like to see that you are well... After that, I promise not to drag you into petty politics and squabbles."

You think for a second. "So I can move back here?"

Lamia nodded. "I might stay here to make sure that Ryoma and Xander don't murder each other, but you for sure will. Just... Ask if you can no longer be a maid. I'll give you space as well."

The offer was tempting. You did love your family... But to find out you were adopted.... And to get a chance to live in both worlds....

"I'll visit."

Lamia smiled. "Let's get packing."

Reina: Okay, sorry for the short chapter. I didn't realize that the chapter would take this direction. You were supposed to talk about Leora and her body, which would have made this longer.

Takumi: Why?

Reina: *playing Heroes*

Takumi: Reina.

Reina: *still playing*

Leo: REINA!

Reina: Huh? Oh yeah... Lamia was supposed to mention that they kind of tossed her body in the woods and forgot about it.

Leo: ......

Reina: There's a reason for that. Anyway, that conversation, as well as what Lamia was doing while Echo and Reader-chan were talking, didn't really fit in here, given that Lamia just revealed that the Reader is her sister Lucy, meaning that Leora is also your sister... Although I did think about making Leora your half sister through the dad and Lavendar...... (Either he cheated on the mom and she somehow forgave him, they asked her to help them give them another child, as the mom almost died giving birth to Lamia, or that Leora is your cousin, but she was born to one of Lavendar's flings. I don't know yet.)

Takumi: And what were we doing with Lamia?

Reina: Lamia separated everyone and had them find some things in common about themselves. Elise mediated Camilla and Hinoka's conversation, Sakura mediated Leo and Takumi, while Lamia kept on eye on Xander and Ryoma, as Elise and Sakura got along swimmingly. Meanwhile, Cori, Cora, and Azura had to make sure that the retainers didn't murder each other.

Takumi: ......

Leo: Okay...

Reina: Anyway, I have a question for the Readers. Should there be a chapter where (Y/N) and Lamia go to the Lyric Province before the next arc arrives? It would change a few things, but everything might flow better. Maybe Echo summons Alfonse or something, lol. But it would make the Reader work closer to Alfonse, and Leo's jealousy/wrath is incurred, thus creating a love triangle.

Leo: NO

Takumi: YES

Reina: You guys are not helping.

Leo and Takumi: .......

Reina: Also, should I change the title to "The Vampire's Servant: Vampire!Leo x Reader x Alfonse" and mention that Alfonse is in the story in the summary?
