Chapter 5: Knight In Shining Fangs

[A/N: warning. This chapter may be a little confusing but don't worry. Answers will be revealed soon. ^_^]

Third Person's POV

"Ellaine... Come..." lumingon si Farrah kung saan nanggagaling ang boses but she saw nothing.

"Come back.. To us..." Lumamig ang paligid niya dahilan para yakapin niya ang sarili niya..

Napatingin si Farrah kay Ikki at nakitang parang may hinahanap si Ikki.

"Hindi mo ba narinig yun Ikki?" dumilim ang mukha ni Ikki at tumingin sa lapag pero pagbalik ng tingin niya kay Farrah, umamo ang itsura nito.

He took off his tuxedo and lend it to Farrah.

"Suotin mo. Wala naman akong naririnig. Guni guni mo lang yun." Ikki said. She muttered, 'thanks' and she immediately put on Ikki's tuxedo.

Farrah's POV

Yung hangin kanina, hindi yun ordinaryo ah. Nasa loob kami ng bahay, no, mansyon, kaya dapat ang maramdaman ko lang ay ang hangin mula sa aircon pero iba yung kanina eh. Wala naman ding mga bintana na pwedeng pagmulan ng hangin kanina. Para kasing may tumatakbo ng napakabili sa gilid ko kanina. Buti nalang ipinahiram sakin ni Ikki yung tuxedo niya.

Pero pano yun nangyari?

Kung talagang may tumatakbo sa tabi ko kanina, dapat man lang makita ko yun diba?

Ang isa pang nakakaloka ay parang nakakita ako ng bampira kanina. Alam niyo yun? Yung taong naninipsip ng dugo ng tao tas may mahabang pangil? Ugh.

Bumalik ako sa matino kong pagiisip nang may humalik sa pisngi ni Ikki.

Huh?!

"Dear. I miss you my dear Ikki. How are you?" Sabi ng babae habang nakahawak sa pisngi ni Ikki.

Napayuko si Farrah.

"Mom. Stop that. Im fine, Im fine. Okay?" Nanlaki nanaman ang mata ko. Mom? Omg. Ang ganda naman kasi ng mama niya. Akala ko tuloy dinala ako dito para maging third party.

Tumingin sakin ang mama niya. Nanlaki ang mata ko. Di ko alam ang gagawin ko ugh. I suddenly felt conscious about my looks because I think I'm infront of a goddess.

"What's your name, hija?" She asked me.

"F-farrah po uhm..." she smiled.

"Call me tita Becca, hija. By the way, dear, is she your girlfriend?" She asked Ikki.

"Yes mom."

"No ma'am."

His mom chuckled.

"Hijo, you should not call her your girlfriend if she haven't say yes to you. Respect her, Ikki. And be fast before she disappear on the wilderness." She said and then wink.

After that, she bid her goodbye and then she said that we must enjoy the rest of the night without her.

"Ang cute ng mom mo, Ikki."

He rolled his eyes at me.

Tumingin ako sa relos ko at nakita kong 9:59 na.

Maya maya lang ay biglang namatay ang ilaw na siyang kinagulat ko. Hindi ako makakita.. Ikki! Where are you? Open the lights please! Please!

I was about to take a step going to my left when Ikki grabbed my arm.

"Farrah where are you going?"

I started to cry.

"I-Ikki please the--"

Ikki carried me and then we ran. I don't know where we'll go. I just want the fricking lights to come back.

Nilagay ko ang mga kamay ko sa mata ko.

"Hush now, Princess... Everything will gonna be okay. No, I'll do everything to make you okay."

Nakarinig ako ng isang tunog at nakita muli ang ilaw pero...

"Ikki..."

Ikki Leonardo's POV

I turned the fricking lights on but I panicked when Farrah collapsed.

I immediately run to the parking lot. I dont care if the party just started. All I can think of is that I want to save her.

I reached the parking lot but I became angry because of the presence of a person.

I closed my eyes frantically.

Lyra Astrid. Lyra Astrid is infront of me.

"Oh. Im lucky to see you here, former best friend." ngumisi siya.

"But I believed that that lady you're carrying must be in our possession. " Lyra looked down.

"If you would give her peacefully, we'll be grateful, Ikki." she added.

"You think Farrah is a thing that must be under someone's possession? Lyra, you're insane. If Farrah will have someone who'll own her, that's definitely not the group of double-crosser werewolves..." I said.

She smiled. She's a vampire yet she chose to be on the side of werewolves to protect someone important.

"Well if you won't give her to me peacefully, placidly and calmly, then I must punish you." She said while positioning as if she's ready to slay me.

The color of her eyes changes into brown. And I know she's ready to attack.

Every vampire has an ability. And for Lyra, her ability is that she can read your next move just by looking at your eye.

Im still carrying Farrah so I don't know how I will put an end to this.

Now I didn't know if losing Farrah's consciousness was lucky for me or not. Im still not ready if Farrah finds out that she's living with a vampire that could suck her blood any minute.

Lyra ran towards me.. Her fangs showed up. I closed my eyes. This way, she'll not be able to read my moves.

I can smell her. I can sense her. She's going to launch a punch at my handsome face. I dodge and I planned to punch her but she was able to read my move and dodge them.

Hmm.. she can read my moves now even when my eyes are closed? Good. But not enough to crash me down.

Now, she's going to kick me. I caught her feet and I kick her. Now blood is running down from her luscious lips.

Fighting a girl is so not cool but I badly want to place Farrah on a safe place!

"Ikki, are you going to dodge all of my attacks?" She laughed. "I bet that girl is being a burden. Why don't you put her down then--" she stopped babbling. I heard footsteps.

I smelled my mom. Damn good timing mom!

"Ikki the party didn't started yet you're going to leave--? Lyra?" My mom asked. Shocked.

Lyra wiped the blood off her chin and then smirk.

"Is this some kind of reunion, aunt Becca Leonardo?" Lyra said while smirking. This is definitely my chance fo finish Lyra.

I run towards mom and put Farrah down.

"Watch Farrah, mom."

I came back in front of Lyra.

"Just so you know, I trained to become stronger than before, Ikki. Now, I can also read some of your moves even if I can't see your eyes." She said proudly and attack again. I dodge her attack and I put my hands at my pockets.

Didn't she know that I know her since our childhood and I know her weaknesses? Or did she forget that? Tss.

Either way, I need to finish this now.

"Just so you know," I said imitating her voice earlier. "I have no time for your fricking chickenshit and your fricking life while you're with the double-crosser werewolves."

In one snap, Im in her back while choking her. She coughed.

"Yes, you already know how to read my moves even when you're not looking at my eye, but you still need a lot more practice to face me, Lyra. Are they stupid enough to send you here and get Farrah away from me? While I'm still alive and kicking, no one can get her away from me. I will not allow them to take Farrah away from me. Even if it means that I will have to wager my life."

I knocked her off without looking at her and place her on a wall.

I run back to my mom.

"Thanks for watching Farrah mom." I carried Farrah again and started walking away from mom.

"So, she's really something to you dear."

"She's not just something mom." I waved my hand at mom to say goodbye.

She's not just something. She's our savior. This sounds gay but yes, she once saved our ass off of danger that may take our lives mom.
