SIX MONTHS AFTER THE INCIDENT..........

Honestly speaking I cannot identify the person looking back at me in the mirror......... my own reflection. My appearance has changed a lot. May be John was right, everything occurs at it's set time... neither ahead of that time nor after it.

Six months have passed since that fateful night when my world came crashing down, most of the pieces of our unsolved jigsaw puzzle were in their place already. Finally everything made sense... the attacks, two of our members turning rouges, shapeshifters, Elle's condition... every damn thing.

"Sam dear it's time", mom enter my room along with Elle. 

Mom tried her best to hide her sadness and be happy today. But that sadness was still visible in her eyes, I can't blame though. 

Elle on the other hand had recovered quite well and looked happy. Both were wearing beautiful red gown, tied up their in bun and wore simple but beautiful pieces of jewellery.

I was in my war attire and tied a red cape made out of fine velvet over it, hair tied in simple braid. I looked at the dream catcher hanging at my window. This brought back all the memories of him ... how I wish you were here today by my side cheering me as always. But destiny had other plans I guess.

Someone placed a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Elle smiling softly at me... I guess she remembers. "It's okay Sam everything will fall in place trust me". With one last look at the dream catcher, all of us moved out of my room. Edward was waiting for us outside my room, he gave me a warm smile on seeing us walking out of the room. I was not close to Edward though he was Elle's mate as I found his behaviour cold, but in last few months he has proved me wrong. Behind that cold Edward was a real softie, a side which only few had seen and I was amongst those few lucky ones.

The moment everybody was waiting for is finally here, not in a way we expected but nonetheless it's happening. As soon as I stepped out of my home with mom, Elle and Edward on my side I could see members of my coven outside. Some curiously looking at me, others with joy and pride... few of them with doubt.  

It was almost 5pm all the important people those, whose presence was extremely essential had already arrived. If this event was to take place under normal circumstances, we would have undoubtedly organized it in one of our five star hotels. But current scenario did not permit a lavish celebrations......... at least not at the cost of lives of our people.

On moving further I could see few cars waiting to escort us safely to the venue. Elle and Edward accompanied me in my car while mom got into a car waiting behind mine along with Victoria. Similarly all who were waiting outside got into the cars. Engine of my car roared to life when Edward started the car, Elle was sitting beside him in passenger's seat. I was sitting behind alone. 

On our way to the venue, I was looking outside trying to admire the scenery passing by. Elle was very lucky to have Edward who is always there to support her, comfort her. Why could not Zorawar be like him? Amongst all this mess I had found my mate... yes great timing I know!

"Sam we are here", Elle brought me out of my thoughts. "He might have already arrived... Yet did not bother to come and meet me before the ceremony. So thoughtful of him!", I spoke to Elle via mind link. 

"Stop being so sarcastic Sam". Great now my bff is scolding me for that jerk... Excellent! All three of us stepped out of the car.

Event was to take place in practice ground... yes practice ground. A simple yet beautiful shamiana was set up, the opening of which faced entrance of the ground and back against hospital entrance where extremely heavy security was present. Since past few months our entire territory was heavily guarded not only by best of our fighters but also strong spells of witches. 

All the supernaturals of higher rank (except ones who were not our friends and allies) were already inside along with few members of my coven, rest were waiting out patiently for me to enter. Sages were yet to arrive as I couldn't sense their  aura. Or may be they had... they are very much capable of covering up their aura so that no one can detect their presence.

So the time and event which entire supernatural world eagerly waited for has finally come...

My coronation as the vampire queen...
