After spending twenty minutes of thanking people for coming and other crap, I was standing over at a table filled with food, drinks, and cups full of...guess.

If you thought blood, yup. They were in nice champagne glasses and I was on my third one when I felt someone come up next to me. I ran my tongue along side my teeth as I looked up at King Luka, "Thirsty?", he asked, looking down at the glass.

I nodded, "Yeah, I don't know why though.",

Blood was becoming better for my to drink. Since I don't have to bite down on some poor person neck like vamps had to do before, I'm fine and drinking blood is becoming a much easier thing for me to do. I was starting to...like it. It actually started to taste good.

"Well," he said, looking down at the two empty ones in front of me. "By the way it looks like, your bloodlust is kicking in. Tasting good, huh?",

My un-color cheek felt heated up as I nodded, "Yeah. It's...refreashing now actually.",

"Well," he said, taking a glass. "Be lucky vamps are all around your you'll be attacking your whole family.",

I frowned up at him, "Thanks for the support.",

He smirked and chuckled, "No problem, Princess.",

I pursed my lips up at him, "I'm not wearing a tiara, so don't call me that.", I said, pointing a finger up at him. After thanking everyone, I changed into a nice white strapless dress that went passed my knees a little. I felt more comfortable in this and I didn't want to spend my whole night in a big wedding dress.

He chuckled and pushed my hand away, "Welcome to the family, Dorinda.",

I gave him a one side grin, "It's going to be so weird calling you 'daddy' now.",

He patted my shoulder, "Trust me, it's weird for me to.", he said as he walked away to the other Kings.

I know I shouldn't be nosy, but I couldn't help but listen on it.

"I have seen no report on where they are.", King Alderic said frustratingly. "It's even making me so paranoid and I had to move my whole family in my palace cause I'm scared for they're safety. I'm also scared for my people. The Doves are scared and terrified of the thought of a Raven becoming king.",

"They're going to be found, my friend.", King Canicus said. "Some of my people have told me they smelt them a week ago, but they're quickly left when I sent my guards out for them. I'm sorry.",

"No, don't be.", King Alderic said. "I'm sorry. I'm making everyone in all six realm in danger because of my people stupidity."

"You did not cause this.", King Tristan said. "Ravens are dangerous, but they never gone this far. Look, they haven't done anything in a while. Maybe...they gave up.",

"I truly doubt that.", King Alderic said. "From what Sarafina told me, Samuel is a very determine to take over the throne. He will stop at nothing. And really, I don't know who I can trust anymore. I fear some of my own guards are traitors like Wilhelm or when I go out with my wife and children and some random person could come by and attack us without warning or hesitation. I can't stand to paranoid every moment of the day for everyone. It's stressing. ",

"Then don't.", King Luka said.

"What?", King Alderic questioned angrily. "What are you saying, Luka?",

"Samuel is after your crown and daughter, not your people. Don't worry about them, worry about you and Sarafina. You are right, you are only one man. You can't handle everything at one time.",

"This is not like the problem you had!", King Alderic hissed. "Prince Lucas was kidnapped, yes but at least you have senses, I don't have and it makes it harder. You found them in matter of days. It's been almost a month for me! I'm a failure to my family, daughter, and people.", he said before he walked away.

I felt a hand go on my shoulder and I jumped and the champagne glass almost fell out my hand. "Don't scare me like that, Lucas.",

He chuckled and leaned down to kiss my cheek, "Sorry. Thought you felt me come up next to you.",

I shook my head, "No, I didn't. My mind...was on something else.",

"How can your mind be on something else when there is so many people talking and dancing.", he chuckled. "It is very distracting.",

I drunk the rest of the glass, feeling satisfied that I wasn't hungry anymore. I shrugged, "I don't know.",

It's not like I can just tell him I was eavesdropping when I shouldn't have been. Lucas hates it when I do that, but I can't help it. It's like in my nature to be noises. I blame it on my mom side.

Lucas took my hand and brought me close to him and wrapped his arms around my waist as he leaned against the table, "I love you.",

I smiled up at him and wrapped my arms around his neck, "I love you, to.",

When I leaned up to kiss him, the DJ said something, "It's time for the bride and groom to have they're first dance together as a married couple.",

Everyone agreed with him by cheering and 'whooing'. Lucas and I chuckled together as he leaned up and lead up over to the dance floor that was emptying for us. Once we got in the middle, Lucas put one hand behind my back and I laid my hand on his shoulder and our free hand came together.

The song Lucas and I choose called 'I'll Be' by Edwin McCain started to play and Lucas and I started slow dance to the song.

"Promise to love me forever?", Lucas asked, arching an eyebrow.

"I'll promise if you'll promise.", I said, chuckling.

Lucas twirled me around and said when I face him again, "I promise. ",

"I promise to. I know we'll have our off day where we can't stand each other, but hopefully you'll look at me in the way you first looked at me.", I said.

"I'll always look at you like the first time. Something so beautiful and wonderful. You don't find many girls now a day that hated partying and had guts to let her friend drag her to a college party. I'm just happy I followed you home that night or that...guy would have done something.", Lucas said, his face turning in disgust.

I stepped closer to him where our body were touching and I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his chest, "Or I would have never said I owed you one and we wouldn't be here now.",

Lucas wrapped his arms around my protectively. We sway side to side with each other, just listen to the music and just feeling the way our bodies felt close together. I looked at the side I could see and saw people smiling at us. My mom was in front of my dad with his arms around her and she laid her head on his shoulder as she smiled at us.

Queen Arabella had an arm around King Luka and was leaning on him a little with his arm around her shoulder as they also watched. Kayla was smiling so big as she watched with awe in her eyes and Liam was real close to her, though they were not touching or hugging since the stupid law still say which species can be together. I notice Andrew was on the other side of her.

That poor girl, I laughed in my head.

Edric was holding Jasmine in his arm as they watch with awe also. Luna and Mitchel were sitting at a table as they watched, but Luna was siting on Mitchel lap. Romy was with some guy with a electric blue sonic wave like tattoo on his deep honey color tan. Must be Raidon.

I turned my head to the other side. Bethany waved at me and gave me a small smile. Xander had the little girl sitting on his waist as he and the blonde lady watched. Isabelle smiled at us as she watched. I frowned when I saw Cain at a table as he watched with his mother, but had a beer bottle in his hand.

I'll get him later for that. Now is not the time to be nagging on him. Right now, it's me and Lucas. Us.

I felt Lucas hands tighten around me and I squealed as he left me up and spun us around. Everyone and I chuckled and I kissed his cheek.

Lucas kissed under my ear, "Happy?",

I nodded, "Yes.",

Lucas and I was dancing to a rock song and enjoying ourselves. Everyone was by the way it looks like.

I heard Kayla heels clicked they're way towards us and she grabbed Lucas shoulder, "I need to talk to him for a second.", she said, grinning. "It's very important.", she said, quickly looking down at my right leg...where the garter still was.

Oh, jeez.

Before I couldn't even speak, she snatched him away from me and dragged him off the bulit dance floor. I can't believe I'm really going to do this.

Since I was around lots of people, I couldn't make out what Kayla was saying. All I saw was her smirking up at him as she talked and I could tell she was giggling. Lucas looked lost for a second until a grin appeared on his face and he quickly glanced at me and I felt my cheek burn up.

Maybe there still time to back out of this...

Kayla patted his shoulder Lucas's shoulder and quickly made her way up to the DJ. I felt a hand slip into mine and I looked at grinning Romy and I saw my bouquet in her hand.

"Hello," I herd Kayla voice called out threw the mic as the music stopped and everyone looked up at her. "Can everyone clear out the dance floor. It's time for Prince Lucas to take something off of Princess Dorinda.", she said, wiggling her eyebrow at me and winked.

I scrunched my nose up in anger and gave her a look saying I'll get her back for this. Most of the guys whistled and 'whoo'ed. They knew what she meant sadly. Well, it's only going to be his hands, so I should be fine.

My dad had a horror look on his face and I couldn't stop myself from laughing at it as Romy lead me over to a chair Jasmine was bring out in the middle of the dance floor. I felt nervous actually. I mean, it was very awkward having people watch Lucas slid his hand up to my thigh and take it off and throwing it at a crowd of guys. It's something Kayla would love to do, but me, I'm a little...boring.

I gripped the botton of the chair as unmarried guys came up on the dance floor and Lucas strode up to me so casually, it made me mad since he wont be the one who'll feel a little...weird.

I heard Jasmine and Romy giggle behind me and I couldn't stop the giggle that came out of my mouth when Lucas got down on one knee in front of me.

"I'm going to get her back for this.", I whispered to him.

He chuckled, "Just go with it, Doe.", he said, holding up one hand.

If my cheeks could show color, my face would seriously look like a tomato. But deep down, I know I was going to enjoy this. It just sounded so funny in my head. I just thought it never would happen to me.

I took a deep breath and lifted my left leg up. He grinned as he slid the skirt part up all the way up to where the garter showed and I held so he could slid it off with both hands....

I should have known better then to listen to Kayla.

Lucas leaned up to my thigh and he took hold of the garter with his freaking teeth! Everyone chuckled and giggled as they cheered for Lucas. Though I didn't like Kayla lying to me, I had a huge smile on my face, my cheeks started to hurt My right hand was trying to cover my face as I giggled as he slid the garter down my thigh and leg.

When he finally got it off me, he got up with a huge smirk on his face. I gave him the same look I gave Kayla and he just chuckled as he walked backward a few steps.

"Be ready to catch!", Kayla giggly said.

Lucas rolled the gold garter up into a ball and he threw the garter behind his shoulder and all the guys reached up to catch it. I got up from the chair and straighten out my dress and looked to see who caught it. My cousin Max stepped forward twirled it around his finger as everyone clapped.

"Okay," Kayla said excitedly. "Time to toss the bouquet!", she said as she gave the mic back to the DJ and quickly jogged off the stage as all the guys left the stage and all the unmarried ladies came up. I saw Luna grab Isabelle hand and Isabelle face heated up as she let Luna drag her up to the stage.

Romy handed me my bouquet and I thanked her and she joined the group of girls.

"Toss it high, babe!", Kayla shouted and I shook my head and giggled. I turned around and held the bouquet with both hands as I leaned down a little.

I counted to three in my head and threw my upper body up and threw my arms backwards and let go of the bouquet. I quickly turned around as I watched it fly in the air and drop into the crowd of girls. I saw it hit Isabella chest and she had a shock look on her face but her hand flew up to her chest to catch it before it fell.

Everyone clapped and congratulated her. Even though she was shock, she had a huge smile on her face. I walked up to her and hugged her, "You know that mean you could be next to be married.",

Her cheek heated up, "I hardly doubt that, but it's a nice thought.", she said as she giggled.

"Wait!", Kayla said as she smirked at Isabelle. "It's also tradition for whoever male catches the garter must now put it on whoever catches the bouquet.",

Isabelle mouth dropped and her cheek looked like tomato's. I giggled as Max came up to Isabella and Isabelle started to giggle to.

I heard something like grumbling and smart comment from my right and I looked over to see Cain watching and he had a annoyed look on his face. I shot him a look and he shrugged and rolled his eyes. I turned my head back around to watch Isabelle lift her right leg up and let Max slid the garter up her leg to the middle of her thigh.

Jealous much..., I thought, referring to Cain and his mumbling.

I clapped and patted Max back. Max leaned in and kissed Isabelle cheek and we all awed.

I felt Lucas come up behind me and wrapped on arm around me from behind and kissed under my ear. I nudged him in the rib, "I'm going to get you back for listen to Kayla and using your teeth.", I said to him.

He chuckled and kissed under my ear again, "You liked it, don't lie.", he whispered.

I rolled my eyes and giggled, "Not the point, Lucas.",

"Hmm, well," he said, making his voice lower as possible in a hot way. "I can't wait to see what way your going to get me back.",

I rolled my eyes again and he leaned back up. I jumped when he slapped me on the butt and walked away. I shot him dagger as I looked at the back of head and I could hear him chuckling.

I was laughing with Queen Arabella, my mom, Kayla, Isabelle, and the rest of my bridesmaid about when Queen Arabella went to an opening for a new orphanage and she tripping on her heel, but she was acting out how she was tripping, which made it funny.

Isabelle excused herself to go get something to eat and left.

"I was so embarrassed and I making a promise to myself to never wear three and half inches again.", Queen Arabella said. "I'm getting to old to wear high heels now.",

"Old?", my mom questioned. "Okay, I get your a vampire and don't age, but you have a stunning figure and legs. I would be living and sleeping in heels if I had the legs you had.",

Queen Arabella smiled up at her, "Thank you, Shelley. But I have been wearing heels ever since I got married. I miss the good old slipper and small heel thing.",

As they went off talking about shoes, I looked over to where Cain was sitting. I frowned again since he was just sitting there, looking down at the table. But I swear, I could see his head turn a little and his eyes move to Isabelle direction.

This boy really going to make me snap at him, I thought.

After I excused myself, I walked toward Cain direction, grabbing a water bottle on my way. When Cain noticed me making my way to him, he snapped his head back to look down at the table. I laid the bottle of water in front of him, "Drink.", I ordered.

He raised an eyebrow and look up at me, "What?",

"You need to sober up a little.", I said. "And we have to talk.",

He clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes as he picked up the water bottle and leaned back in the chair, "About, D?",

I put a hand on my hip, "Don't 'about' what me, Cain Marshall. You know perfectly well about what.",

He took a sip and said, "Can't say I do, D. Oh, is it about how cranky I been after the ceremony or how badly I'm screwed about when I finally got over you and could think straight, but after seeing Isabelle all dolled up and now, I can't think straight again? Which one?",

I pressed my lips together tightly in frustration and when he brought the water bottle up to his mouth, I reached down and squeezed the bottle a little, making the water come out faster. Cain eyes widen and he took the bottle away and started coughing, "Don't get smart with me, Cain.",

As he continued to cough, "What the hell what that for?",

I rolled my eyes this time, "Don't be a dickhead.",

Once he stopped coughing, he got up, "That should have been me to catch that garter and put it on her.",

"Then why weren't you in the crowd?", I asked, arching an eyebrow. I sighed and brought my hand up to my right temple and sighed, "Cain, just go ask her to dance.",

He shook his head, "I can't.",

"Why not?",

His nose scrunched up, "She reeks of your cousin.",

I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand. I lead us over to the booth of food and I tapped Isabelle shoulder as I let go of Cain hand.

Isabelle turned around, "Oh, hey Dorinda--um...okay?", she questioned when I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her, rubbing my upper body against hers.

A moment later, I stepped back and looked at Cain, "Better.",

He rolled his eyes, but put on a one side grin I know way to way. "Hey Isabelle, you look very pretty.",

Her cheeks rose up, "T-thanks Cain.", she said, looking down at her dress as a small smile slipped on her face. "I...feel pretty.",

Cain lifted one hand and laid it against my chest and pushed me backward, a way of telling me to leave. I rolled my eyes and walked away, but eavesdropped again for the second time of the day.

"I hope I'm not to late to ask you for a dance.", Cain said.

"Um," she said and I could just imagine her biting down on her lower lip. "Sure, why the heck not.", she said, giggling.

A pleased smile appeared on my face. Finally maybe Cain would loosen up and wanted to spend more time with her. He did say he was loney and who else is better then Isabelle? They look cute together.

I ran into someone back, "Oh, I'm am so sorry--oh, hey.", I said when I realized it was Xander I ran into.

Him, Bethany, and the pretty lady turn around. "Hello, Princess Dorinda.", Bethany said as she did a small curtsy.

"You don't have to do that.", I said, referring to her curtsying. I looked at the lady and smiled, "Hello.",

She smiled and reached her hand out, "Hello, my princess. I'm Abigail, Xander wife. It was very kind of you to invite us under what you guys...just found out.", she said.

"Well, it sounded like a good idea in my head.", I said. "I'm glad you guys could make it-"

"Mommy!", I heard a little girl and next thing I know, a little body ran into right leg and felt the body starting to slip. I felt my vision go off into slow motion and I look down at the little girl that came with Xander and picked her up and put her on my hip and my vision went back to normal.

Abigail gasped, "Lillian! Princess Dorinda, I'm so sorry.",

I looked at the brown hair bluish-green eye little girl. "It's okay.", I said, smiling at them before turning back to the girl. "You okay? Did you trip or something?",

She nodded, "Yes, princess. I'm very sowwy.",

I took in her cuteness and awed. "Well, I'm hope you are okay.",

"I am, princess",

I gave her a one side grin, "Well, you wanna know a secret?". Her eyes beamed and nodded. I leaned into her ear, "You are totally adorable.". Her hands flew up to her mouth as she giggled. I felt a hand slip around my waist and I looked up to see Lucas. "Do you know who this is?",

She nodded, "Yes, but I'm not aloud to say out loud.",

Lucas leaned down to the little girl and smiled, "Well, why don't you think it?",

She giggled again and didn't speak as she stared at him.

Lucas chuckled and patted her head.

I looked at Abigail and Xander, "She's so cute.", I said, putting her down and ran went up to Xander leg and hugged it.

"Your pretty to, princess.", Lillian said.

I bent down a little, "Thank you, Lillian.",

She just nodded and pressed her cheek against Xander thigh and he laid his hand behind her head. Xander lifted his other hand up to his face to look at his watch, "We have to leave soon. It's almost nine o'clock and Lillian has a bed time and I have to be at the hospital at five in the morning.",

I nodded, "Well, glad you could come. Hope you guys enjoyed yourself.",

"Oh, I did.", Bethany said, turning around a little to wiggle her fingers at one of Lucas's friends and he nodded his head and winked at her.

Xander rolled my eyes and grabbed her upper arm, "Come on, before Beth cheated on her guitarist boyfriend.",

Bethany huffed, "Like I'm dating that jerk, still. Cyrus was a jerk and even, his music sucked. I'm moving on to bigger and better things. And a lawyer sounds pretty good.",

"He's married.", both Xander and Lucas said.

She frowned, but clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes, "No offence, Prince Lucas, but you have lousy taste in friends. Flirting with girls is no good in a marriage. ",

I heard a cell phone ring and as if it was a reation, my head snapped toward the direction to see King Alderic reached behind him and pull out a phone. He brought it up to his ear, "Oui?", he said, turning around and go away from the party.

"It's about Xavienna...", was the last thing I heard when he was far enough away.

Damn, here I go again.

I stepped forward to eavesdrop, but Lucas wrapped his hand around my arm, "Dorinda, don't.",

I turned around, "I have no idea what your talking about.", I said, looking at our guest before looking back at him. "I'm...thirsty.",

"Mh-hmm.", he moaned, not believing me at all, but let go of my arm.

"Again, glad you came. Make it back home safe.", I said to our guest as I lifted my hand up. "Bye Lillian.", I said to the little girl and she smiled at me.

I turned around and walked towards King Alderic direction. Once I was near enough to hear him and the person he was talking to, I turned to my side and made myself look like I was more interested in my heels.

"What in the underworld do you mean she's gone?", King Alderic growled in the phone.

"I-I mean, my king, she's just that...gone. A guard went by her ceil and she wasn't there. Her window had been smashed.", the person he was talking to said. "We believe...we believe Samuel and Wilhelm either kidnapped her or helped her escaped.",

King Alderic breathed out his nose heavily, "You have got to be fucking kidding me. Just what I fucking need now. A missing prisoner. How long ago was this?",

"About thirty minutes ago. No one heard anything and when all the guards searched around, no one seen her since lunch.",

"Goddess help us.", King Alderic growled in the phone. "I can't leave Prince Lucas's wedding right now but I'll be there in the morning. There better be a plan already half made up. If this bitch did escaped, I'll make sure she never gets out a prison and see the child of hers.", he said as she closed his phone and turned around and noticed me.

"Um...", I said, not sure what to say since I just been caught. Damnit.

He walked up to me, "You will forget everything you herd and will not speak of this to anyone. Understand?"

I quickly nodded, not wanting to argue at his hard voice, "Y-yes.". He nodded once and walked passed my, "But, I don't think she escaped.", I said, turning around as he did also.

"Excuse me?", he questioned.

"I don't think she did. I don't think she's that kind of person.", I told him.

He shook his head slowly, "You barley even know the slightest bit of her. People who you think you know, Princess Dorinda, aren't going to be the same to you anymore. Sometimes you wont be able to know who to trust anymore now."
