Lestat and I lived on through the decades, we remained young, beautiful, and truly immortal.  Things were different now, we had entered an era which is now my favorite era. It was the 20th century, the year 1985. Lestat and I had lived alone in the shadows for hundreds of years. We grew tired of it and made ourselves known to the world of mortals. We became known by one name.

Our rock music was a great success, millions of arms reached out to embrace at every concert we had performed. Oh how they begged us to come into our lives. It was exactly what we wanted, with all our black little hearts. And it is where we stand today. We go on, we feed on those who cross our path and sing our rock songs. Making lots of money and living like the lives of the rich and famous.
