"You both did very well in today's class that's why we've asked you to join the company, that is if you want in?"

They both looked at me in shock, but quickly accepted my offer.

"Becky you can help me train the new comers and Mercedes you'll be working with Ashley in the office."

Again they both nodded there heads, something seemed off with Rebecca all day but she was very skilled. So hopefully we can work well together for the rest of the week. I walked back with them and got in my own car, I looked in my wing mirror and saw that Becky was crying in her car. I debated with myself on whether to go and check on her, after a minute I jumped out of my car and made my way over to hers.

"Becks?"

She looked up at me with sad eyes.

"What's the matter?"

For a spilt second I thought about telling him but I stopped myself, he would never understand and he wouldn't let me explain myself. I never wanted to be a vampire, every time I think of that night it makes me sick to my stomach.

"Becky please tell me."

"I'm fine honestly, it's just something stupid."

"Please tell me."

"I-I...my parents I just got called, it was a vampire hunter just like you. He's killed them, now he's after me."

"Why would he be after you?"

"Because he thinks I am one too. I'm just scared."

"He won't think your one if you have a degree in vampire hunting, but I've got to ask are you a vampire?"

I answered without thinking.

"No. But how am I supposed to get a degree in a few days?"

"I know a place if you'll let me take you there."

I pulled my keys out of my car and followed him to his I got inside and he started the engine, I started to feel myself becoming thirsty but shook it off. Hold yourself together for just half an hour, that's all you've got to do Rebecca. We arrived at what I assume is his office, he took me inside and I sat on the couch.

"Just give me five minutes and then you'll have a degree."

He started typing away and I felt my eyelids becoming heavy, I heard the sound of the printer but then I completely fell asleep. I awoke the next morning in an oversized hoodie with a scroll of paper on the table. I could smell Colby from here, I needed to get out of here and fast. I could feel my fangs popping and knew it wouldn't be too long until I'll get killed or I'll kill someone. I grabbed the paper and ran down the stairs I saw Colby in the kitchen so I tried my hardest to retract my fangs.

"Good morning, you fell asleep in my office so I brought you here."

"Thank you, I need to go."

"Do you want me to take you?"

"No, I'll see you later."

I walked out the door then ran into the streets, I jumped on the bus and was home within ten minutes. I rushed inside my shabby little flat and grabbed the bag of blood from my fridge, I downed it so it can keep me going for two maybe three days. Damn, that was a close one.
