"Do you know how hard I'm trying to not kiss you right now?"

A loud giggle escaped your mouth shamelessly while you tilted your head back and pushed Kai Parker's chest gently. For the past thirty minutes, he had been making you laugh and entertaining you just because you had said that you were slightly bored. He was great company, and you had nothing to complain about really, except that you and him weren't close enough yet. Ever since he had stumbled into Mystic Falls, the present version of it, you had been falling in love and you had the biggest, dumbest crush on him even though you had been warned of the infamous and dangerous Parker kid.

But he was too charming and too handsome to resist, and that was why you and him were sitting on a bench in a park, giggling at two in the middle of the night. It was dark and a bit cold too, but you couldn't notice such things, you were too busy enjoying Kai's company and laughing at nearly everything he said.

"God, you're cute", Kai however then let out. Your laughter ended, and you looked at him in disbelief - was he being for real?

"I'm serious, you're adorable", Kai added when he saw your look, which made you smile eventually. You shrugged, though, and looked down at your fingers while blushing heavily and hoping that he really meant his words.

"Yeah, right", you rolled your eyes.

"No-- Y/N, really. Do you know how hard I'm trying to not kiss you?", he asked, causing you heart to sink and drop to the lowest of low. Your head rose and you looked at Kai in shock, not able to understand that for once, a guy you had a crush on, felt the same way.

"Stop trying, you idiot", you whispered, and let him grab you and press your lips together. You closed your eyes, and enjoyed the kiss that changed from sweet to intense in only seconds. Heavily panting, you sat yourself on Kai's lap while he cupped your cheeks and held you tightly against himself.

"You're kinda cute too", you finally whispered between kisses. And earning a chuckle from you, Kai replied, with a grin on his kissable lips, of course.

"I know."
