because inspiration is at it's finest in school

it's pe class but i couldn't go swimming so basically i am supposed to walk the same route for 1,5 hours and like who does that ?? so i put on my earphones and here i am, walking, and it gave me inspiration to write an imagine which is not smut even though i promised, but tbh i don't think writing smut in school is the ideal way so here's a somewhat cute kai imagine which i totally did not hope would happen to me...

Imagine meeting Kai during a walk and he forces you to walk with him and so you get to know each other

Long, long walks in the nature while blaring music from your phones... It was great, as long as you weren't forced to it, but after an exhausting day full of studying and extra shifts at the Grill to get paid more, you definitely needed a way to calm down and there wasn't anything better than listening to your favorite songs and taking a nice peaceful stroll nearby your house.

You had taken the familiar route three times, when you slowed down and gave any present people the chance to catch you. It was rather quiet, and so far you had only seen a few people at a fair distance, so you got to enjoy the time alone. Until you heard a crack from behind you, during a quiet moment in the song you were listening to. You turned around to see who was closing the distance between you and them, but you saw no one so you looked back ahead and continued your way.

That was when you were scared to death by a stranger - a handsome one - in front of you.

"You know, I haven't lived here for very long, but I've taken this way a few times and can I just say - I love it", he spoke, as you let out a scream which caused a grin on his pink lips. "I mean, I have lived in Mystic Falls for, pfft, as long as I can remember, really. But not... Not here. Not in this version", he continued, scratching the back of his neck and giving you a look as if it was your turn to say something. And you could only think of one thing.

"Who the hell are you?"

The young man snickered, "Ah, sorry, manners. My time in... confinement had an effect on me, clearly. I'm Kai, nice to meet you." He offered you his hand, but you didn't take it, you just continued to walk but he stuck by your side and you decided to might as well keep the conversation going on.

"So... You were in prison?", you asked and took out one of your earphones, devoting 50% of your hearing entirely to this Kai guy.

"Yeah", he shrugged, "you could say so."

That was the last thing he, or you, said for a while and so you were left in the kind of silence you needed. For some minutes.

"Who are you, then? Tell me about you", Kai suggested, and you chuckled to agreed to let him know what kind of a person you were.

"I'm Y/N. I like...", you started, and drifted to explaining everything about your favorite movies, bands, books and tv series. Kai didn't mind really, in fact he quite much enjoyed hearing you ramble and rant about this and that.

"Y/N, huh? I knew you'd have a pretty name to match your pretty face", he grinned, causing your cheeks to turn bright red. You stumbled on your feet, and cleared your throat, trying to get words out but Kai was way too charming for you to remain calm.

"Is that why you stalked me and then scared the crap out of me, and finally, forced me to walk with you?", you chuckled nervously, and Kai returned the sound but more fondly.

"First of all, I did not force you into anything. You just sort of... rolled with it. But yes, I think you're damn gorgeous Y/N. And you're nice too. Looks like I hit the jackpot", Kai replied, winking at you. He was so unbelievably smooth and amazing, and hot too, you felt like fainting but you didn't want to waste any seconds you could spend with him so you kept yourself controlled.

"Kai, would you like to come to my place and we could have some coffee or tea, and talk more?", you suggested after picking up all of your courage.

Much to your luck and liking, Kai agreed and the two of you walked to your house where a lovely evening was spent together. You kind of knew it then, but it was the beginning of something absolutely wonderful.
