omg sorry it took me two days to update ut we started working on these presentations in english and that makes school bearable tbh and it doesn't have to be ready until next week and it was totally not necessary to work on it at home buT I ALMOST FINISHED LAST NIGHT OOPS

Imagine being raised by Katherine and living with her, when suddenly you find out you are Bonnie's sister

You were quite happy with your life the way it was. You were the protege of the one and only Katherine Pierce - in fact, you were like a daughter to her, but then again, also like a sister. She had found you abandoned when you were only a toddler and took you under her wing. She had been separated from her true daughter, and seeing you so helpless and lonely broke her heart, and she took care of you until you were nineteen and then turned you into a vampire, believing you could get on by your own now. But when she tried to send you off, thinking that running from Klaus all alone would be easier for her and safer for you, she couldn't do it. She still had to teach you the wonders of vampirism, and after all, the two of you had become too close to let go like that. So you lived with her for decades. And you couldn't imagine a better life.

You were a lot like her, both equally badass and sexy and not to be messed with. You fed together, you went shopping together, you partied together and you talked about things that bothered you. You were like sisters, but if someone threatened you or did something to wound you, she acted like a protective mother even if you could have taken care of yourself. You were the most important person in her life, and the feeling was mutual, really. You could not imagine living without her anymore.

But when the two of you found your way back to Mystic Falls, where she went after Stefan Salvatore again, you had time to meet the other residents, partly for her plan, too. You quickly became friends with Bonnie Bennett, and felt connected to her on a very special level but you never spoke about it to anyone, not even Katherine. Especially not Katherine. You knew she got easily jealous, over you especially, you were her precious angel and she was not going to compete of your attention with Bonnie goddamn Bennett.

You pretended to be cool with all of the residents in Mystic Falls, but when you thought of them, Bonnie was the one to pop up in your mind brightly like a star. You loved Stefan and Damon too, though not like Katherine did, and you really enjoyed Caroline's company too, even if she didn't like Katherine and therefore tried to avoid you too. But while everyone knew Katherine as the evil slut vampire, the bitch that only loved herself - which wasn't true -, no one really knew you and quickly grew fond of you, even if you carried a badass attitude as well. But you had never done anything bad to these people, although Damon tried to convince everyone that since you had grown with Katherine, you were just bad as she was.

Days in Mystic Falls passed by, and on each of them, you and Bonnie became closer and closer. On a peaceful Saturday, you were sitting in the Grill with Bonnie, who had called you, insisting on meeting because apparently she had big news which would explain a lot. You were confused, but you were hoping it would be something to help your Katherine with her mission, so you agreed to meet the Bennett witch. Gladly, even.

"This is going to be quite the shocker, but Y/N... Ever since I met you, I felt this connection. Not in a romantic way, more like in a way that I've only felt with my grandmother. I read some books and did a lot of research, and turns out, you and I... We're related. You're a Bennett. I guess that when Katherine turned you into a vampire, your witch powers died along with you. Especially when you drank blood. But you and I - we're sisters, Y/N. You were born a few years before me, and I don't know how it happened, but you were left alone and I suppose Katherine found you and raised you", Bonnie explained, managing to sink your heart.

"S-Sisters?", you stuttered out. It was a shocker indeed. You loved Katherine, but you had also always dreamed of a sister, and turns out you did have one. And it was Bonnie Bennett. You broke into a smile, and covered your mouth with your palm, getting up from your seat and walking to Bonnie who stood up as well. You hugged tightly, and some tears of joy were let out as well.

"I knew there was something about you", you whispered. It felt great to know that you had a real sister. But Katherine did not feel the same way - she felt just anger and jealousy, as she looked at you and Bonnie hug from the entrance of Mystic Grill.

She was not happy at all.

When you returned to the apartment Katherine had compelled for you two, she was waiting on the couch unhappily. Her arms crossed, she stared at her high heels on the floor and stayed silent even after you greeted her. You instantly knew something was wrong, after all you knew her better than anyone else, and because of that you went to sit next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder and insisting on knowing what had happened.

"Did you have fun with Bonnie?", Katherine spat out, jealousy evident, poisoning her voice. You swallowed thickly, and looked down when her eyes that burned with fury turned to you. You felt embarrassed, you weren't supposed to get attached to anyone in Mystic Falls but you had found your goddamn sister. Things were much more complicated than you thought they would become in the small town, but you were happy, too. A bit happier than you were a few hours go.

"I did. Kat, you can't be mad at me for enjoying her company. I-- I found out something incredible today. Bonnie and I... We're sisters. I'm a Bennett", you let out, scared of how she'd react but you couldn't hold back a smile. Katherine's eyes drained from rage, and they were filled with sadness, and her serious expression melted into a scared one. Her body eased, and she turned entirely to you, her hands finding place on your shoulders.

"What? Are you going to leave me now? Y-Y/N, but-- I love you! You can't leave me! For Bonnie? No!", Katherine protested in fear, melting your heart because even though she acted all tough - she was just fluff inside. She cared about you, truly, and although it was pretty obvious, it just felt so good to hear and see her express it.

"I'm not gonna leave you, silly. Of course not. You're my... best friend, Katherine, and I love you too. I just-- I hope you will accept the fact that I am in fact Bonnie's sister and therefore will be spending time with her. But you're still important to me, too, and I want you to know that you aren't being replaced. I can't even imagine life without you anymore, you dumbass", you giggled, and hugged her, while she let out a sigh of relief. She thanked you for the sweet words, and kissed your temple, showing you how much she really cared about you. You were after all as close as only possible.

"I don't love the idea, but of course I'll let you be with Bonnie. But just promise me, you will never leave me, okay? I need you with me, Y/N", Katherine smiled, and you nodded.

You needed her, too.

The next day, Bonnie had suggested that the two of you would go to the movies. There was this adorable movie theater in Mystic Falls, though barely used because there was often a lot of shit going on, but you and her decided to take a day-off from the supernatural drama and went to see a film you were both dying to catch. It was good, the whole experience - you got to enjoy the perfection that was the main character in the movie, and bond with Bonnie. You and her turned out to be quite alike, and it was evident to you now, that you were definitely sisters.

Katherine tried to cage her jealousy, and focused on being happy for you. She had always been your only family, but now you had Bonnie too, and she tried to be glad about it. You and Bonnie were off to a happy future, but you still lived with Katherine, she had most of your heart but a piece of it belonged to Bonnie, now, too. You loved her, and Katherine, and those two were all you'd ever need.

You were pretty sure you were going to be quite happy for a long, long time.
