haVE MY BABIES

Imagine Klaus being the father of your child
Being pregnant was exciting. It was quite the emotional journey, but nevertheless special and an once in a lifetime kind of experience, since you shouldn't be able to get pregnant in the first place so you were pretty sure it wouldn't happen again. So you deciced to enjoy every bit of it, even the anger and sadness that sometimes got the best of you and wouldn't let go until Klaus would bring you some chocolate and give you one of his warm big hugs.
While you tried to enjoy the pregnancy, even though it had taken you some time to actually even tell Klaus about it - he was absolutely terrified. The big bad Niklaus was scared, and stressed out and barely holding himself together, so it was hard for him to take care of you, too. He was still himself whenever someone threatened you or him, or tested his patience or tried to be the better, tougher man, but overall he was freaking out because he was going to be a dad.
He didn't know how to be a father, but you tried to calm him down by telling him how he'd know when it would be needed, but relaxing wasn't an option to him. He had taken care of Marcel Gerard before, but this was different. So very different. And he thought he was going to faint, quite frankly, when you on one day called him, saying that you were on your way to the hospital because apparently the baby growing inside you had decided it was time to pop out.
"Oh my god. Bloody hell. I-I'm-- I will die. I'm not prepared. I do not know how to do this. F-fuck", Klaus cursed as he paced around the hallway, outside the room where you were. As much as the thought of the father of the child being present when she or he is born sounded sweet, you both knew he would only cause fear and stress in you and you told him it would be fine to wait outside. You were strong enough to do it without him, anyway. You were always. You had always been.
When you and Klaus first met, you didn't like his way to be overly fond of you. You were an independent, confident girl and didn't need the big bad wolf to breathe in your neck and protect you. Until you fell in love with him. Then, quite quickly, you wanted to spend every second with him but not even then your brave personality crashed. You were always brave. It was stuck in you, and nobody or nothing could ever change it, or take it away.
Not even the experience that was giving birth to a fairly big, powerful hybrid baby.
It was all fun and games until that moment.
But you got through it. And before you even knew it, you and Klaus were home with a beautiful baby girl. Just like you had wished, you had given birth to a gorgeous, healthy daughter and she was too adorable to let go. You never wanted to let go. You just wanted to hold her and protect her even when she'd be all grown up. Now, you kind of understood what Klaus felt like towards you.
"I'm proud of you, love. Forgive me for being so rude and not being there for you as she was born", Klaus muttered, and pressed a kiss to the top of your head while you stood in your house, at the front door as one happy family. Klaus' arm was wrapped around you and his eyes were tightly where yours were too - on the baby that slept happily on your arms. It was perfect.
"I love you, Nik. And I love our daughter. You two mean the most to me", you whispered, and smiled. It was the truth, and you knew in your heart, that it would never change.

Months passed by, and each day, Klaus grew fonder and fonder of your child, until his dead heart was full of love, so full it was daring to explode. He loved you two so much, and kept referring to you as his girls. He was a wonderful father too, even though he was scared he wouldn't. He showered your daughter with love, he talked to her and spent time with her. Read to her, told her stories about your epic love and how much he loved the baby's mother. Klaus was utterly in love with his child, and if someone dared to even lay a violent finger on her, he didn't hesitate to break it. He protected the baby at all costs, and you were happy to see that. He really cared, and he was an amazing father.
When your child grew from a baby to a toddler and explored the miracles of walking, speaking and what not, Klaus was there to guide her. As much as you loved your daughter and she loved you, she was definitely a daddy's girl and it managed to melt your heart. Klaus played with her, made her laugh, spoiled her. If you told her to not do something, Klaus always disobeyed and gave your girl more ice cream or pretty dresses and let her stay up for another hour. He loved his little princess. And his queen, too.
Although the child took much of your time, Klaus often put her onto the arms of aunty Bekah and uncle Elijah so he could devote some time to you. Klaus still managed to find time for romantic, long dates and amazing gestures to make you feel like the luckiest girl in the world. And hot making out, of course, which led to long nights that quickly turned into mornings, with you two still going at it in the bedroom. You were a strong, happy couple, in love and life full of everything you could only dream of.
And everyone could see it. The residents of Mystic Falls stopped going after Klaus, since you pretty much kept him away from the dark side. And your child got most of his attention, too. You two were all Klaus could care about now, he didn't need armies or cities to rule. He just wanted you two. And he got you.
Elijah and Rebekah were happy for you guys too, and were always ready to babysit the newest member in the family if necessary. But usually, you and Niklaus preferred having her home, right with you guys. Watching movies in the evening, and eating candy while making her giggle and admit her love for her mommy and daddy. She was like a gift from heaven.
"I love you!", she would always say, and you'd smile of course. Sometimes, she added, "I love daddy the most, though!", causing you jaw to drop in shock. She loved you, of course, but there was a special bond between her and Klaus. And you couldn't even really be mad.
"Oh, that's how it is?", your reply was most of the times.
"Oh, I think so, love", Klaus smirked every time, but always pulled you closer to have a passionate kiss with you, earning unhappy noises from your daughter.
"Ew!"
And you just gazed into Klaus's eyes. "Yeah, ew", you whispered, but smiled, causing Niklaus to do the same.
"Ew", he repeated. God, how much you loved each other. You were such a happy family.
