Imagine Katherine admitting she truly loves you

Katherine was the incarnation of evil. So you had heard. But in your opinion, although she could be a bitch, she was awesome and made the word slay more accurate than anyone had ever done. You loved Katherine, she was badass and strong and independent and you were like that too, so it was only logical for you to feel that way. She and you shared many traits, and even though Damon had told you many times how Katherine didn't care about anyone but herself and would abandon you eventually, it seemed like Katherine really enjoyed your company too.

"If anyone should be my doppelganger, it should be you, honey, not Elena", Katherine would always say, praise you and give you heavens and loving on a daily basis. Damon was strongly thinking that Katherine would in fact break your heart on one day, but Stefan, and pretty much everyone else too started to notice how she grew fond of you, and took you everywhere with her.

You and Katherine became partners in crime.

And that was how the Mystic Falls gang lost their precious Y/N to the evil slut vampire who brought out your true self. You weren't a bitch, though, you were quite easy to love, but you did have a bad girl reputation nowadays, and with Katherine, your personality just came out stronger. And you loved it. Just like Kat did.

Somehow you did become suspicious about Katherine, though. Damon managed to poison your mind with stories about the vampire girl, succeeding on making you feel insecure and scared that one day, your new best friend, and new crush too, would leave you all alone. Maybe Damon was trying to make you feel less attracted to her so it wouldn't hurt so much when he would most likely kill her or something, but you only became more attached.

In no time, you understood that you had serious feelings for Katherine. How were you supposed to not, though? She was amazing, she kicked ass and got on by her own and didn't need anyone by her side, yet she wanted you as her friend. And she was gorgeous too, and a hell of a lot sexier compared to Elena in so many ways.

"Hey, hun, can we talk?", Katherine asked on one day, fiddling nervously with her fingers which caused panic to wash over you. You had never seen her so shy and awkward, and it scared the shit out of you, because what could it mean? Was she going to tell you that she didn't want you in her life anymore? Was she going to tell you that she didn't need you, and preferred the thought of you just staying the fuck away from her? Something serious was going on for sure, because she was looking distressed and nervous and Katherine was never like that.

"S-Sure Kathy, what's up?", you asked and scratched the back of your neck. Katherine swallowed thickly, and placed her hand on your shoulder, sending shivers down your spine but you didn't move, you loved the touch. The warmth and the softness of it... She was so gentle, but you knew, that in different kind of situations, she could get rough... And...

"I- um, I have to admit something", she started, taking you out of your dreamy, though dirty, thoughts. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but Y/N, I'm in love with you. I know it's weird, especially because I'm, well, I'm me. And I completely get it if you- if you're not into girls, honestly I didn't know I was either until some time ago when I realized that I truly love you, Y/N", Katherine continued, managing to sink your heart and melting your insides and making your brains explode.

"Oh my fucking God", was all you could let out, but when you saw the panic painted on her face, you continued, "I mean- I love you too, Katherine. I-I'm shocked, I didn't think you'd actually feel the same way but- Yes, yes I'm in love with you too and god, it feels so amazing."

Katherine's irresistible lips curved into a smile, and she placed her hand on the back of your head and pushed your mouth against hers. Your lips met and you stayed in a sweet, intense kiss that lasted for a fair while, taking the breaths of you both, and leaving you panting and smiling.

"Good, because I really need you", she said with a smile. God, it felt so perfect to know that.
