Imagine the Mikaelsons fighting all the time because they all love you ++ Imagine the Mikaelsons fighting over you
Everyone knew that the Mikaelsons never failed to put up a good fight. Only fools tried to spark an argument between them, but only real, true, 100% idiots brought up your name in a conversation. Y/N Y/L/N was a name that always made the Mikaelsons yell and shout at each other, ready to claw out each other's eyes, all because of pure jealousy.
You had no clue how it happened, but each sibling fell hard for you, from the cheeky bastard who was supposed to be incapable of falling in love, to the gorgeous blonde who was willing to slay everyone just for your attention. Kol, Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah, even Finn, all loved you from the bottom of their heart, and whilst it was a flattering situation, you were also completely clueless. You didn't know what to do about it, so frankly, you did nothing.
It wasn't always easy to live amongst constant bickering and wake up to the siblings fighting about something silly yet somehow in their opinions more important than being a happy family. The Mikaelsons never knew how to be complete, how to make each other happy, there was always something going on and it was very rare to see them all together, smiling and in peace, though for you they would do that as well. But they just didn't get along like siblings did in the movies, especially when Finn hated being a vampire and aimed to be free of his nature. But when they fought about you, things were even worse.
None of them held back the evident jealousy. They were all shameless monsters, all of them wanting to claim you as theirs, kiss you, marry you, what not. They were hopelessly in love with you, and it was crazy how every living sibling in one family fell for the same girl, but it was real, and you were wrong to think you could just ignore it. It was huge, and would have been even with normal people, but these were the goddamned Originals, and that alone meant deep problems.
"I'm not even so special. Just a regular girl from Mystic Falls", you said almost on a daily basis, but they always had arguments ready. They disagreed entirely, and whenever you said this, it only got you more attention as they praised every inch of you, admiring your looks and personality and giving your self-esteem quite the nice boost, but nonetheless, it was unnecessary. You didn't need all these vampires to be all over you and devote their love to you, although you did enjoy it at first, but it had grown tiring and you knew that at one point you would have to choose, and break almost every heart, except for one. But if you wouldn't choose, you'd just break all of them.
It was actually quite hard to be the target of their undying affection. You didn't claim that it was all bad, but it wasn't all good either.

"Forgive me, did I ask for your opinion? No, I didn't, so why don't you stay quiet, or I'll sew your mouth shut."
Rebekah's voice rang through the hallways of the Mikaelson mansion as she yelled at one of her siblings, waking you from your slumber like she had a tendency to. Usually you groaned at the unpleasant way to wake up, but you had grown numb to the daily habit, and therefore got up easily and tiptoed to downstairs while mentally preparing yourself for a vampire fight. You had dragged them off of each other before, just because they were so brutal, and all of them seeked for your attention and affection and would go to the ends of the earth to receive some. Every time you stopped them from fighting though, they claimed that it was all fine, since they couldn't die anyway.
"I'd advise you to do the same, sister. People with sharp tongues often end up cutting their own throats with them", Kol bitterly responded to Rebekah, who was sassily standing with her hand on her hip, a bored look on her face. She didn't appreciate her brother's attempt at being sarcastic with her, and raised her hand and sprinted over to him already, eating up the distance between them, ready to smack him but you cleared your throat to get their attention, and you succeeded, of course.
As soon as all of the Mikaelsons saw you at the doorway in your pajamas with a messy hair and an exhausted look on your face, they forgot about their disagreements, ended the pathetic bickering and rushed over to you, wanting only to turn that frown upside down. They didn't want you to be upset, but obviously, it was too late for that. They woke you up by arguing so loudly, though the main problem was the arguing in general. They needed to stop, but you knew that there was nothing you could do or say to actually end it for good, so when Elijah asked about your mood and state, you forced a smile.
"Peachy. But if this is now how every morning starts, one of you need to buy me a pair of earplugs to sleep with", you smiled tiredly, and patted Elijah's shoulder before walking to the kitchen. You didn't look back, but you could have sworn that Elijah wiped his shoulder in annoyance, because you knew how he hated it when anyone touched his suits, but he didn't have the heart to ask you to stop doing it all the time. And it brought you some kind of joy to irritate them, perhaps to make them taste their own medicine.
But at the end of the day, you loved them just as much as they loved you. Alright, maybe not as much, but a lot anyway. And you knew that they only meant well, so you sighed as you opened the fridge, hoping to find the strength to fix your attitude, because you certainly didn't mean to upset anyone. They just, unknowingly, upset you, by bickering and fighting over you endlessly.
"Would you like some toast this morning, darling?", Kol asked as he smoothly slid over to you, wrapping his arm around your waist while walking you to the toaster, a wide smirk pulling up his lips. Rebekah huffed from behind you, and shut the open fridge with her elbow before crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at Kol sternly.
"No, you twit. Y/N prefers, well, anything, but your damned toast", Rebekah scoffed and rolled her eyes so hard, Kol wanted to make a comment about if it looked nice inside her empty head, but you gave him a warning look and he shut his mouth nicely. Rebekah smiled crookedly, tilting her head to the side while strutting past Kol, and sticking her tongue out at him, only for him to do the same.
Eventually, you got some breakfast in front of you, and you could wake up properly with some nice cooking from Elijah, who turned out to be excellent in the kitchen. For a while, the lot of you managed to sit in peace, but another argument was easily started, and for once, you did it, although accidentally and unintentionally of course.
"The trash needs to be taken out", you muttered while looking at the full trash can, kicking it shut before tossing your plate in the sink and washing it swiftly. Klaus snorted, and you turned to look at him sit by the table with a grin spreading out his pink lips while his eyes turned over to Finn who was twirling a fork against the table, ready to shove it through someone's palm if necessary. All you could think of was, damn, this house is dangerous, and you weren't incorrect, either.
"Very well", Klaus spoke, and offered a sarcastic smile to his brother. "Finn, do you have any plans this evening?", he asked, making you actually laugh this time, but to not offend Finn, you masked your laughter with fake coughs. He noticed, but ignored your reaction, and instead threw the fork towards Klaus but at the last second, Elijah grabbed it before it could impale the hybrid's eyes. You shook your head, and turned your back on them to hide your smile whilst working on the dishes, but Klaus knew he had made you smile and that alone was enough to make him do the same.
"Niklaus, please. If you're going to be a smartass, you need to be smart first", Elijah spoke calmly, and flashed a smirk at his brother who scoffed in return.
"Oh, c'mon! Must you bicker at all times?", you then intervened, surprising them all as you snapped. Looks were exchanged, and slowly, they all turned back to you and nodded their heads which earned a groan from you. You shook your head, and grabbed the fork from Elijah before tossing it in the dishwasher, and then heading to your room where you aimed to block everyone and everything out with your beloved headphones.
"Forgive me, Y/N. We didn't mean to upset you", Elijah said as he followed you to your room, and everyone else came right behind him. They were like a row of ducks, all coming after you needily, and while the thought amused you, you tried to keep a stern expression on your face as you turned back to the siblings.
"I could take you to the movies this evening, that always cheers you up", Rebekah spoke from behind Elijah, smiling at you, and the thought sounded nice indeed - until the others wanted to take you out too.
And, so another argument began, and you left them in the hallway, went in you room and locked the door. Yes, you loved them, but each day they seemed to grow more and more crazy. About you, possibly.
