"This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you've ever had. Of course I'm in."

If there was something that made you and Malachai Parker the perfect team, it was your shared, undeniable insanity. You were both just as deranged and twisted, and whilst it meant a terrible threat to all of the residents in Mystic Falls, it also meant the perfect chance for Damon to come up with matching nicknames for you two.

Although, once Kai merged with his sibling and got all the power he wanted, he kind of calmed down and started to apologize to people. For a moment, you feared he had gone soft, but you could feel the effects of being free from worries and the goddamned prison world kicking in as well. You were somewhat happy, and you managed to live in some kind of peace. Nothing had been set to stone, but for the moment, you and Kai stayed away from breaking havoc into the small town, and you let everyone move on with their lives.

That was, until Bonnie Bennett screwed up.

She locked your boyfriend, trusted ally and partner in crime away in the prison world of 1903, and saying you were angry, would be an understatement. You were infuriated, and heartbroken, who wouldn't be when losing their soulmate? You weren't one of those people who handled grief very well though, and you aimed to burn the whole damn town to ashes, until you remembered what Kai had told you.

He had known that trouble would come around eventually, and he had promised to kick through alive somehow. He had also known that if someone rose against him, it would be the plucky Bennett witch, and he wasn't wrong. He told you to not kill Bonnie, though, because he wanted to do it himself, and therefore you tried to remain calm as you patiently waited for your not so sane lover to return from 1903.

You didn't know what to expect. You weren't prepared for anything, but knowing Kai, you were aware that he'd come back with a bang. He was one for dramatic entrances and being in the spotlight, he was a public villain, not one to hide his actions or feel ashamed. He was pure evil, and you knew that what Bonnie did to him, would drive him over the edge and give him the boost you hadn't seen in a long time. And it would do the same to you - seeing Kai so crazy only meant the same fate for you, and you couldn't wait.

"It's been too long since we last went on a murderous rampage", as you had said not too long ago, to Kai who only smirked and told you to wait. As if he knew what would happen eventually, and who could tell - maybe he did.

Whilst Kai was tucked away in the prison world with a bunch of Heretics as you had heard, you had to deal with Damon, which was a drag but not as much as his mother or his pathetic girlfriend. You felt nothing but hatred for the lot of them, but you knew that Kai used to have some of his own deranged fun with Damon, so you sucked it up and tried to replace Kai with jokes that only amused you, endless teasing and the occasional pick-up lines, just to annoy Elena.

"What's up, American Beauty? Still without your American Psycho?", you heard the usual greeting from the front door as Damon walked in the Salvatore boarding house where you had taken residence more or less without his agreement. You rolled your eyes, and threw a couch pillow at him, and just for fun he didn't even bother to dodge. He let it hit him in the face, and he chuckled with a sarcastic ow that made you roll your eyes again.

"Yes, I am, thanks to your precious little Bon Bon", you spoke with sarcasm dripping in your voice. It was Damon's turn to roll his eyes as he flopped onto the couch, sitting next to you and earning a kick on the side from you but he just ignored it and continued to slouch. "Where's Elena?", you asked then and dropped your gaze to the phone you now owned, though could barely use. Damon lifted an eyebrow at you, surprised that you didn't come up with a nickname for his girlfriend, but you didn't notice, and he dropped the matter, not sure if he even wanted to hear your alternatives.

"Doesn't matter. I just need a drink right now", Damon sighed, and grabbed the bottle on the table nearby, uncorking it and taking a long swig. You shook your head, and got up from the couch, throwing a sassy remark about how you weren't going to just sit there and watch him marinade his liver before heading outside with your phone pushed down into your pocket.

You swung the front door open, and shut it loudly which made Damon groan - you heard it - but you didn't stay to apologize. You started to walk away, not caring for a car, with your destination still unknown, but you just didn't want to stay indoors anymore. You didn't want to just chill, as people now said often, when your boyfriend was suffering in the middle of blood-thirsty Heretics, though there wasn't much you could do, either. But you hated the thought of loitering around the boarding house. You needed to do something.

You started to walk towards the center of the town, imagining you could find some peace there, time to organize your thoughts and then take action, even if it meant threatening people, or slaughtering some. You were bad, and you were told to not go batshit crazy on the town that nothing for you in it anymore, so it was hard, but for Kai, you struggled through.

But, you didn't get far, when you saw a familiar face staring at you from a distance, his hands pushed into his pockets and a familiar grin on his lips.

"Kai?", you asked in confusion as you stared into the charming eyes of your loved one. After realizing that it was indeed Kai, you erupted into a sprint and you ran to him, squealing as you jumped and wrapped your legs around his waist and arms around his neck. Kai grabbed you, holding you in his arms as he laughed with you and pressed his lips to your neck, longing to feel and taste you again.

"Y/N", Kai breathed out, and cupped your cheeks as he lifted your head to look directly into your eyes. You smiled fondly, and rested your forehead against his, enjoying the warmth of skin and the safety his body made you feel, although you never needed his protection but you had missed him, and it was good to have him back and know that he was right there with and for you. As you closed your eyes and breathed heavily, the warm air meeting Kai's mouth, he felt the irresistible desire to kiss you, so he did.

Your lips crashed together, and it was intense, rough and frustrated, like it usually was. Of course you were capable of sweet, loving touches as well, but with the both of you so stark raving mad like a hatter, it was hard to remain calm. You both tried to be the more dominant one, and it usually turned into a heated battle until one of you couldn't handle it anymore, and while you had to admit it was often you, you were also proud to think back to a couple of victories and how you made drop down to his knees right in front of you.

You wrapped your legs tighter around him, and Kai stumbled back into the wall of the nearest building, the both of you entirely forgetting, or perhaps just not caring, that you were outside. Your body moved up and down as you tugged on Kai's dark hair and moved your lips against his hungrily, loving the taste and feeling the need to have more and more and more. Kai's hands left your cheeks and roamed your body in the need to just touch each inch of you, but before he could slip his hands underneath the flannel you had stolen from Damon back in the 1994 prison world, you left his lap and caught your breath while holding your finger up to stop him.

"What is it?", Kai frowned, disappointed that he didn't get to feel you up more. You let out a strongly amused chuckle, but it was laced with lust and he grinned as he knew that you wanted him as much as he wanted you, yet something stopped you from letting him take you there and then. Kai straightened his back, leaving the wall, while you cleaned your hair and then did the same for him, which earned a disappointed groan from Kai - it definitely meant things weren't going any further.

"I love you babe, you know I do, but I've been waiting for so long. Please tell me you have some kind of a plan to get rid of all these people?", you spoke after catching your breath and slowing down your heartbeat. You ran your fingers through your hair, and lifted your eyebrow while looking at Kai who opened his mouth only for a low breath to come out, and for a second you felt disappointment kick in, but then Kai broke into a wide, evil grin and made you do the same.

"Of course, baby girl", Kai spoke and slid his hands down to your hips, pulling your body against his while looking down at you with an intense gaze that made your head spin. Sure, you were the murderess who had done some cruel shit, but if you had one weak spot, it was Kai and his goddamned smirk. That boy did things to you, and he knew it, which only made his cocky smile widen more and god, you wanted to slap it off and make out with him at the same time.

Yep, you had definitely chosen your boyfriend well. You were indeed soulmates, if not more, if there even existed such a thing.

"I made a deal with Damon's mom, Lily. I promised to get her Heretics out of the prison world. Which I did, and now they're under a cloaking spell, so she can't find them", Kai shrugged and made you shake your head while laughing. "I helped Lily, and in exchange, she fed me her blood so I'll become one of her kind when I die. Which I will, after killing my siblings and then myself to end the Gemini coven", he explained, giving you a proud smile, as if expecting a golden star, which you kind of wanted to give him now. He was a genius, wasn't he? Crazy too, maybe, but perhaps crazy equalled genius, after all.

You licked your lips swiftly, and looked around the empty surroundings as you pushed your hair behind your ear, not allowing the wind to play with it. You cleared your throat, and turned back to Kai who was waiting for you reply impatiently, so you gave him one. "So, it involves killing people and ruining this stupid little town", you stated, just to be sure, and once Kai had nodded, you broke into a wide grin to match his.

"This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you've ever had", you shook your head and covered your face with your hand, but peeked through the fingers. "Of course I'm in", you added, and dropped your hand to place it on the back of Kai's head. He laughed, and your lips met again, suffocating the chuckles with the hot kiss that stole your breaths away and turned your heartbeats quite rapid. Your body went against Kai's tightly, and you closed your eyes while deepening the kiss until it was just flawless.

"What?", Kai breathed out when your kiss broke, "no golden star or anything for my fabulous plan?", grinning against your mouth as he took your hand and interlocked your fingers tightly.

You laughed, and shook your head. "Oh, I'll reward you in a very different way", you teased, and started to lead him back to the Salvatore house, where you'd either kick Damon out, or let him enjoy the show - depending on your mood once you got there.

It felt good to have your psycho boyfriend back, because being a villain alone, not so much fun. You were a queen indeed, but you did need your king by your side. And at the end of all this, you'd stand side by side, victorious, though maybe on the throne in the depths of hell instead of the small town in Virginia.
