205 » elijah, klaus and kol

Imagine being Elijah's wife but no one knows until he comes to stop you from flirting with Klaus and Kol

"Well, don't you boys look lovely today."

Your cheerful, suggestive voice echoed through the abattoir where you resided with the Mikaelsons, and your words caused the two brothers, Klaus and Kol, to turn over to you with wide grins plastered onto their faces. You made your way to the two, and flashed a breathtaking smile which made their knees wobble - both of them absolutely loved getting attention from you, although they had seen how Elijah looked at you and how you looked at Elijah.

Boy, if only they knew how things were in reality.

You had been married to Elijah for three years, but it was a secret you had managed to keep surprisingly well. The both of you had decided together that it would be the smartest to keep your marriage hidden, from enemies mostly, and so your love continued to burn in the shadows, a flame you tried to suffocate and control around others but it was hard. You were hopelessly in love with each other, and there were days when you really wanted to tell everyone, but you settled for the secret kisses and sneaking into his bedroom in the middle of the night.

While Elijah seemed to be in utter pain whenever he couldn't wrap his arm around your waist and kiss your neck in public, you went with another way, and decided to take the fun out of being secretly married. You had embraced the joy of flirting with his brothers, Kol and Niklaus, mostly whenever he wasn't around but sometimes you teased your husband by hitting on his siblings with him right next to you. It was fun, though never serious, and you were both aware that neither of you would ever cheat on the other, but you quite enjoyed seeing him struggle with the jealousy. And frankly, what he called a punishment later, wasn't so bad either.

"Look who's talking. Love, you look stunning, as always", Kol grinned and approached you, making you blush as you looked down at your feet. It always felt good to earn such attention and positive comments, and they kept the smile on your face going on strong as you slowly lifted your eyes from the floor and looked at Kol who was right in front of you, melting your heart with his boyish smirk. He was the most shameless one when it came to competing between the brothers - he had a massive crush on you, but so did Klaus, and obviously Elijah as well, so each day went with them somehow bickering over you. And Kol, he was the one without filter, the one who spoke about his feelings for you in the most open way.

"Agreed. I see you've styled your hair differently today", Klaus took the turn to speak, his accent always making your head spin, and this time was no expection. His velvety voice smoothly rang in your ears as he used his vampire speed to appear behind you, his hand moving your hair away and making you automatically tilt your head to the side as he revealed your neck. You could feel Klaus taking a deep breath, and his pink lips curved up into his infamous devilish smirk, which sparked jealousy in Kol and excitement in you.

Oh, the things you did to these boys.

Klaus smirked, and you held your mouth open, unsure what to say so you settled for just sighing adoringly as his hand found its way to your shoulder, and the other moved your hair to the other side. He was definitely charming, and knew how to turn you into jelly, with his subtle compliments and flirting, while Kol was more direct and straight up smacked you in the face with comments about how fine you happened to look. You didn't mind either, but you knew who did.

"Do you enjoy making 'Lijah jealous? Because it seems like he cares about you as much as we do, yet you flirt with us the most", Kol grinned, not disagreeing with your ways, unable to hide his smug expression. You chuckled, and bit your lip briefly as you understood you were closed between the two brothers, with no way out, and for sure your husband would be quite displeased by the sight whenever he would walk in the room.

You looked at Kol who lifted his eyebrow at you, and swallowed thickly after glancing at the wide, wicked smirk on his plump lips. "Seems like it", you responded then, flashing an equally bright smile at Kol while your hands went to your hips. Klaus laughed, and you shivered at the sound of his perfect voice right at your ear - god, what an effect they had on you. Of course, they were nothing compared to the man you had married, and only the thought of him made you smile even wider, but you let Kol and Klaus believe it was caused by them.

You weren't entirely sure how you and Elijah had managed to keep your marriage as a secret, especially when you were so in love, you would have dropped to your knees in public in a heartbeat. But somehow, you succeeded. No one had approached you, asking if you were actually married, and you aimed to keep it that way. Of course, it was hard to live without a ring on your finger and knowing you couldn't just kiss him whenever you wanted to, but the moments you had with him alone were completely worth the wait. With teamwork and motivation which you offered for each other on a daily basis, one way or another, you survived. Though, sometimes only barely.

"So, assuming you prefer us-- More specifically me... Would you like to go out on a date with me?", Kol started, but you didn't have time to answer when he added, "and please, keep in mind, I don't do dating so you are a special girl, darling", taking you by surprise and leaving you speechless. Klaus let go of you, and he was obviously just as shocked as you were, and opened his mouth to ask you out as well, leaving you with a tough choice to make - or not at all - but before any of you could say anything, a fourth person intervened.

"Don't you two wolves have anything better to do than go straight for my wife's heart? Of all the women in New Orleans..."

You, Klaus and Kol all turned around to look at Elijah who was standing at the top of the stairs, though each step took him lower until he was right beside you. You squirmed away from the two Mikaelsons, and walked to the one you were married with, looking down with red cheeks. You weren't used to being caught like this, though you hadn't really done anything too serious so you didn't know why you felt so guilty - it was just good fun, really - but luckily Elijah's attention was on his brothers.

Elijah's hand took yours, and your fingers interlocked as Klaus spoke up with a smug smile on his lips, though it died away quite soon. "Actually, I am the only wolf here...", he began, but then the both of them understood what Elijah had actually said. Shock washed upon the beautiful features that ran in the family, and you bit the inner side of your cheek rather violently, which Elijah noticed and mentioned, before smiling proudly at his siblings.

You stopped biting your cheek, and inhaled sharply as you watched realization arrive in the atmosphere. You glanced at Elijah, and chuckled at his cocky smile, before returning your gaze to Klaus and Kol who were both pacing back and forth with their palms pressed to their faces. Neither of them took the news too well, but it was quite unexpected, even for you, so you didn't blame them.

As the two continued to walk around and unload their frustration on each step, you leaned over to Elijah and pushed your fingers through his fluffy hair while pressing your lips against his. It was a quick kiss, but it had been too long since the last one, so you considered it necessary. A playful smirk tugged up your lips, and Elijah gave you an innocent look, as if he hadn't just thrown years of hiding away just because he was jealous. You were fine with it though, and you always liked to see your husband turn red with jealousy, but he had been so worried about you telling someone when he turned out to be the one who was incapable of secrets.

"I thought we weren't telling anyone", you teased, and poked his nose softly. Elijah shrugged, and kissed your cheek quickly before letting you go, and going to calm his brothers down. They were all rushing around, from spot A to spot B like bees in a hive, and it made you giggle as you sat down and followed from aside. Kol broke into shouting, and Klaus joined him, and to make his voice audible, Elijah didn't save his tone either, and so the three of them ended up yelling at each other's faces about something you couldn't even figure out through the loud mess.

You shook your head, and let out a loud, "Enough!", which got their attention. All three shut up, and you threw one of your legs over the other proudly, while gesturing for Elijah to join you. He walked over to you, and put a hand on your shoulder which made the two boys groan in disappointment, knowing already that the game was lost. A game, which they thought they were going to win. They wanted you, but for years now, you had been someone else's and you were just playing with them.

"You're married, huh?", Klaus let out, and covered his face with his palm in embarrassement. He had been all over you, and this was where it got him. He did not want to learn that the girl of his dreams was happily, secretly married to his brother, but that was precisely the situation and it made Niklaus and Kol both very unhappy.

You nodded as an answer, and you could hear sighs which made you chuckle quietly. You had expected this kind of a reaction, but it was a bit stronger than you were prepared to handle. Especially when Elijah just dropped the bomb on them out of nowhere, surprising even you with the unexpected news. Perhaps you had taken the flirting too far this time - or perhaps Elijah just hated to see his wife do it at all.

"We've been married for three years. Y/N and I fell in love, and I proposed to her eventually. We got married, and decided to keep it as a secret, thinking it was for the best", Elijah shrugged, explaining it casually, as if it was no big deal and it made Kol stare at you in shock. He couldn't believe his own ears, though a part of him wanted to rip them off, but nonetheless he struggled to comprehend the news. Quite frankly, he was still thinking it was a prank or a joke to mess with their heads but with each second, it started to seem more and more real and it scared the hell out of him.

Elijah took your hand, and squeezed it tightly, earning a groan from Kol. "Please, I feel nauseous", he complained, and made you chuckle as he held his stomach. "How could you let your bloody wife flirt with us like that? I have a massive crush on her, Elijah! I was ready to take her out, and I seriously thought I had a chance. And I bet Nik thought so too", Kol continued, expressing his unhappiness, and you kind of saw it coming so you weren't really moved by his words. But, as you looked at his sad eyes and frustrated expression, and the angry line his lips had formed, you felt like you owed an apology, for the both of them.

"Nik, Kol, I'm sorry. It was just a bit of fun, really. You of all people should know, really. I didn't want it to go too far, but I guess it did", you sighed, and offered the brothers a warm smile. It was almost too irresistible, but Kol, and Klaus managed to maintain the upset look on their faces and it made you sigh again. You didn't want to start a fight, but perhaps it was inevitable.

It became quiet in the abattoir, and for minutes, the silence lasted and with each passing second it became more and more awkward but eventually, Klaus broke it. You could hear from his voice how annoyed he was, but his words caused him to flash an attractive smirk and you couldn't hold one back yourself.

"Well, married or not, I still find the thought of flirting with Y/N quite tempting", Klaus winked, and brought a shade of red to your cheeks, and to Elijah's as well, but his was more angry compared to yours, really. You giggled, and gave an apologetic look to Elijah who shook his head and helped you up from your seat before starting to lead you away from his brothers. You looked back at Klaus, and whispered a promise to flirt a bit, but a grunt from Elijah drew your attention away from the hybrid.

"As if", Elijah scoffed, and gave you a jealous look as his arm hooked you from your waist tightly and pulled you closer to him. You chuckled again, and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, as if to apologize but you knew it wasn't over. Whenever Elijah was jealous like this, he was going to take his frustration out on you later, the good old way.

And maybe, you'd keep on flirting just to have those fun jealous nights with your husband.
