Imagine giving Silas your blood when he wakes up so later he wants to show his gratitude by taking you out on a date ++ Imagine witnessing Silas waking up

You were a human. You weren't a vampire. So you didn't need a cure for vampirism, but still, when the long quest for it began, you ended up smack in the middle of it.

Maybe it was because most of your friends were interested in finding the cure, and you ended up helping them one way or another, and the best of your talents turned out to hide in Klaus' company. You were even better than Caroline when it came to wrapping Klaus around your finger, and because of your stunning smile and ability to make the Original's head spin, most answers were gotten while the rest was offered by Atticus Shane, also known as professor Shady Pants, which was a nickname given by Damon and preferred by mostly you and him.

Whatever the reason was, you found yourself on the mysterious island with an odd group, searching for the cure although you didn't need it for yourself. Whilst you enjoyed the idea of staying in Mystic Falls with Klaus, you decided to accompany his sister, believing that without your awesome personality she wouldn't survive and would just end up killing the whole bunch she was with. Luckily, you and her got along, and you didn't mind the others, either. Professor Shane raised suspicions in you though, but you ignored his presence and existence and saw the experience in positive light, in the belief that it would be fun and after all, one of your friends would be free eventually and your group would have one vampire less.

Things started to really take action, when Jeremy took his shirt off and Bonnie got her paws on him. You didn't feel jealous, or maybe you kind of did, because who wouldn't want to be in Bonnie's - or Jeremy's - place, but you still managed to lighten the mood by cracking a few jokes while following the situation. You were always the life of the party amongst your friends, the one who made people smile and feel loved when they needed it the most, the kind and funny one that everyone loved even though all of them didn't always say it, but if you'd leave, you'd be dearly missed. And that was why Bonnie and Jeremy had a hard time not smiling when you tried to get rid of the serious feeling lingering in the air.

In no time, you, them and professor Shady Pants were down in the cave that led to the tomb of the feared Silas who held the cure, apparently. You weren't too excited about roaming the dark dusty corners of some creepy ass island, but you followed nevertheless, hiding your fear with poor attempts to make the people surrounding you laugh, but the only one amused by your jokes was Jeremy - although you did see the smile that Bonnie tried to hide.

"Are we getting closer or what? Where are we?", you asked after Bonnie had scraped her skin on the way down, causing her to bleed and earning your full attention for a moment. You didn't trust Shane, and Jeremy was too lazy to help Bonnie so you found yourself in the position of a trusted friend, assisting Bonnie with getting through the sudden sharp pain. The bleeding stopped eventually, at least most of it, and you managed to survive through the biggest troubles.

You blew your hair off of your face while supporting Bonnie, and looked around in frustration. Of all the places on the goddamned island, you found yourself shoved into some hole, supposed to find some old dude with some cure you didn't even need. And sure, you loved to help your friends, but right now, the thought of being home with Netflix and talking Klaus into watching Y/F/S with you seemed rather tempting. But instead of getting to enjoy the beauty of your favorite characters, you had to do all this shit and all for something you didn't even need, because you weren't a vampire.

"I don't know", Bonnie let out truthfully, and gave you a grateful look as she stood up on her own and continued to stumble behind Jeremy, "I guess?", she added with a hopeful tone, but you doubted the sincerity behind it and it made you roll your eyes while kicking the stones at your feet. You forced your way forward, believing that the quicker you'd find the cure, the quicker you'd get home and that was something you aimed to achieve as soon as possible.

Eventually, Bonnie did some awesome witchy spells, Atticus Shane broke his leg - which brought you way too much joy to admit - and the rest of you found your way to the tomb where you started to feel motivated. You were in the right direction for sure, and soon enough, you had reached the fossil of a man, and an equally old small box in his hands. In that moment, you knew you had found the cure and you couldn't hide your massive smile, after all it was a huge success after so many weeks. And now with this thing right at your reach, you hoped to end the madness raving in Mystic Falls, although you could only expect more fuss to come up because of it. Naturally, it would be a fight, who would get the cure when there was only one dose of it?

But luckily to you, it was a fight you didn't need to participate.

"Finally", you breathed out, and took your first steps towards Silas, and the thought of his appearance crossed your mind briefly but before you could either deepen your thoughts, or grab the cure, you heard a familiar voice speak from behind you and you sighed while turning around. "Impeccable timing, as always", you spoke to Elena, who had just arrived, and gave her a roll of your eyes. It wasn't that you didn't like her, but what you needed the least, was more people to the scene.

Bonnie could only speak Elena's name, when the doppelgänger's lips lifted into a mischievous smirk, revealing her true identity with the sly look. "Nope, guess again", she replied, and chuckled lightly, making a quick comment about how easy it was to pretend to be Elena, before knocking Bonnie down and doing the same for Jeremy.

A scream of disagreement rose from your throat and echoed through the tomb, making Katherine grimace, and to shut you up she pushed you against the wall and you hit your head which did indeed quiet you down. You groaned quietly, and touched the spot that hurt the most, but after a while you regained your normal state and you could see how Katherine was dragging Jeremy towards Silas. Your body ached all over, the rock wall had left a fair share of scratches on your skin and you felt like just taking a nap right there and then, but you had to fight, especially when you noticed how Jeremy was bleeding.

"No, don't you dare--", you growled, slowly pushing yourself up, and making your way to Jeremy and Katherine, but you were too late and the young Gilbert was being fed on, his blood leaving his system as Silas slowly came back to life and drank from him. His hands left the box and grabbed Jeremy tighter, and Katherine had the time to grab the cure and then fled the tomb, before you could snap her neck, but she wasn't your top priority.

You called out Bonnie's name, but she was no help, and therefore you were alone on the task of tearing Jeremy and Silas apart. The boy was already losing his natural color and he didn't look so lively and handsome anymore, and you knew he was on the verge of dying so you screamed and pulled him away, struggling to do so but luckily to you, Silas hadn't fed enough yet and wasn't strong enough to fight the girl who used to have a massive crush on the boy next door. So, with all your might and strength put into it, you succeeded on tearing Jeremy off, although the wound on his neck was relatively nasty because of your shameless, desperate ways to drag him apart, but at least he was alive. For now.

"Don't kill him", you begged, not sure if Silas could even hear or understand. You swallowed thickly, and wounded your own flesh before leaning down to Silas, and offering him your blood, knowing it probably wasn't the wisest thing to do but he was already half alive and leaving him like that, taking his dinner away, also not a great option. So you did what any panicking, scared girl would do under the scary stare of a freaking fossil, and let him feed on you.

Silas grabbed you tightly, and you gasped when he started to drink from your neck, devouring your blood and leaving you weak and about to faint, but as he had already drank so much from Jeremy, he let you go eventually. You didn't think he would, you were ready to die already, though you didn't cling onto the thought too hard, but still, his hands freed you and you stumbled backwards until you fell on your ass right next to Jeremy's unconscious body. You looked at Silas, surprised, and your mouth opened slightly, ready to thank him but you weren't sure what were the right words.

"T-Thank you?", you whispered, but before you could say or do more, the lack of blood caused you to faint and you joined Bonnie and Jeremy on the ground.

One week later, you were entirely recovered from the happenings in the tomb. Damon had healed you on the same day, and Jeremy and Bonnie were very much alive as well, but you were still scarred by what you witnessed and experienced. Questions haunted you, too - you couldn't quite understand why Silas would let you live, when he could have just drank all of your blood. Was he in a good mood? Was that how nice he just happened to be? Were you wearing your cute shirt that day?

You didn't know, and neither did anyone else, so all you could do was wonder and think about it by yourself. Silas, was the only thing in your mind, really. You wanted to see his true real face, and you wanted to know him, you wanted to talk to him and you wanted answers. And whenever you looked in the mirror, you couldn't help but take a glimpse at your arm, where Silas had gripped you as he fed and you could still just feel it. All you could dream of was him, whether it was a nightmare where he did in fact kill you, or a fantasy of meeting his true handsome face and making out with him.

You weren't sure what you felt, but you did know that you needed to meet him, properly.

And it finally happened when you were walking down the street on one beautiful, sunny Wednesday in March. You had just left Mystic Grill, and parted ways with Elena after hours of talk about the cure. You were playing on your phone, feeling like the walk to home went faster like that, and therefore you weren't exactly watching where you were going. Eventually, the inevitable happened, and you felt your body meet someone else's with a thud, earning a gasp from you as you tightly grasped your phone and raised your look from the screen to whoever you had walked into.

A mess of apologies and explanations left your mouth, but you stopped talking when you saw Stefan. Or, someone who looked a lot like Stefan. He did seem a bit different, and after staring at Stefan's handsome face for years, you could tell something had changed, and his hero hair wasn't the same way either, so you knitted your eyebrows together. As if you had suspected it wasn't him, his name came out of your mouth in a question-like manner, and he chuckled.

"I think you already know that I'm not Stefan Salvatore", he spoke, his voice managing to send shivers down your spine, while his beautiful eyes stared into yours, and a breathtaking smile danced on his pink kissable lips, making your head spin. Something about him went above Stefan, considering you had never been in love with him or anything, yet Silas intrigued, attracted and fascinated you right away with such charm you felt like swooning and marrying him there and then. Of course you knew he had done bad things, and he was the villain, but he was so darn hot, and had that roguish vibe that resembled you of Kol, although of course those two couldn't be compared to one another.

"Silas", you breathed out, though with some kind of uncertainty but the proud smile, that he didn't even bother to hide, revealed that you had suspected quite right. He nodded his head, confirming that you got the right doppelgänger, which was kind of a surprise but you quickly bypassed that little fact and blushed and smiled like a little girl. Silas seemed to enjoy the reaction he caused, and the pride in his smile was shadowed by pure smugness as he looked at you blush and squirm on the spot. He had made you flustered, and he felt quite satisfied.

"And you are Y/N Y/L/N. I know, because I forced one of your vampire friends to tell me everything", Silas chuckled, and pushed his hands in his pockets, rocking back and forth on his feet while glancing around, but his eyes quickly landed back on your beautiful features. He couldn't help but note how you were playing with the hem of your shirt nervously, how the pink shade on your cheeks remained victorious, and how you couldn't look him straight in the eyes. He tilted his head to one side, and tried to catch your eyes but you avoided it perfectly, knowing you'd probably melt if his intense gaze got to you.

"Could it be, that you have been thinking about me as much as I have been thinking about you?", Silas questioned, and raised an eyebrow as you gave him a shocked, yet at the same time, pleased look. Although, the blush on your cheeks wasn't going away and didn't intend to, either. After all, he had picked up your big secret - you couldn't stop thinking about him, but at the same time, he confessed that he had been thinking about you too and that made you very happy.

"You've been thinking about me?", you asked, rather excitedly, and he could tell. His smile seemed to be contagious, and it worked the other way around too, so you both just stood there, looking at each other with smiles plastered on your faces. Eventually, Silas shrugged but broke into a nod and you struggled to hold back a squeal - admittedly, you were already totally freaking smitten.

"I have, in fact. Ever since I got to taste your blood... Y/N, you're all I've been thinking about, and I have so much to do, taking over this small town of yours, for example, but wherever I go, whatever I do, I see you in my mind and I had to come to you", Silas explained, sighing heavily, "I am aware that this is very sudden, but I rely on my charming looks, and therefore here I am now, to ask you out on a date. So, would you like to go out with me?", making your heart beat faster until it was about to race through your chest, but somehow you maintained yourself.

People kept walking by, probably thinking it was Stefan you were talking to and that was why no one stopped to question why you were standing with this evil man, and with a happy smile on your face. It felt like it was just you and him though, and you were already planning a wedding in your head as you rapidly nodded your head and moved away the hair that wind blew onto your face. It was like from a movie, a dream come true, and as you found the courage to stare into Silas' eyes, you knew there was so much more for you in the future.

"I'd love to", you said without hesitation, knowing it was the right answer. He seemed surprised by your reply, and his eyes widened evidently, but the grin widening his lips revealed that he was happy, too. Just like you.

"So simple, huh? No, 'but you're the bad guy' or 'we shouldn't' or something?", Silas asked, smirking at you, melting your insides and turning you into one big mess that wanted to fall onto his arms, relying on your Prince Charming in a white suit, held by him as he'd press his pink lips against yours so softly. This was only one of the several dreams that repeated in your head, and you struggled to even have this very conversation with him, but it was too good to pass so you tried. You tried to remain under control, seem reasonable and like you weren't already completely in love but he could make you drop to your knees with just one look if he wanted to.

"That simple, yes. Like you said, I've been thinking about you", you said, not bothering to explain further. All you both knew was that you wanted to go on a date with each other, and the plans had been made and there was nothing else to worry about for now. Silas didn't want to take over the world, not right now at least, and you didn't feel the need to question your sanity, although you were falling in love, not so slowly and not so steadily.

"Is this why you let me live?", you chuckled, referring to how he didn't drink you dry on that one special day. Silas recreated the chuckle, and shrugged one shoulder while his teeth closed his lower lip in between, biting it tightly until he felt the need to let go.

"More or less", he simply answered, "I didn't want to kill you. And you gave me most of your blood, so I want to show you my gratitude, possibly by taking you out. Though, I will not do the same for the Gilbert boy", earning laughter from you. You tilted your head back and let the giggles slip out of your mouth, making Silas smile at your reaction. Moment by moment he climbed higher on the levels of your love, earning more affection from you, and feeling more toward you.

"So, how about we go for some coffee right now, and get to know each other?", Silas suggested, and took a step closer, offering you his hand while looking down at you, his eyes locking with yours so intensely you felt like screaming but instead you just nodded. You lifted your hand and he took it, intertwining your fingers which sent shivers down your spine, but you played it cool and started to walk with him, back to the Grill where you left not too long ago but you didn't mind. At least now, you were with the man that had taken over your thoughts, but this time, he was real.

"And Y/N", Silas spoke, and you turned to look at him, lifting an eyebrow and he responded with a smirk. "You look absolutely stunning", he pointed out, making you blush again. Yeah, for sure, you were going to enjoy his company, a lot.
