120 » jeremy and klaus
this is actually more klaus / y/n than jeremy / y/n and i'm sorry but it was kind of impossible to not make klaus a big part of this imagine so
anyway, although i don't usually dedicate my imagines to anyone, this one has to go for @-coleman because i'm currently absolutely obsessed with her book ""the curse"" and i read all of it last night and it gave me so much motivation and inspiration to write, which kinda explains why this is nearly 3000 words. so yeah, she is absolutely amazing at writing ((i mean for real, i feel like such trash compared to her omg)) and you all should check out her book ASAP. xx

Imagine meeting Jeremy when you go to Mystic Falls to look for your father, Klaus
2015 turned out to be quite the year for you.
After living for years with who you thought was your mother, you got to know that your real mother was dead and your father didn't die in a plane accident like had been told. Your father was the infamous Niklaus Mikaelson, the evil hybrid, who you thought were just creatures your guardian had come up for bedtime stories. But at the age of Y/A, the truth was revealed to you, the truth which included supernatural beings, from vampires to werewolves, and your father, which was a combination of both.
You were slightly scared, sure, but even more attracted and interested in the history that had been hidden from you and so, even though you loved your new mother, you had to leave. You were old enough to travel alone of course, so you left your hometown with a bus to make your way to Mystic Falls. Your mother told you all about it, from the wicked to the good and gave you many instructions and warnings but you were just too excited to meet your real father, and all the supernatural beings roaming the streets of the mysterious, dark little town.
You didn't blame Klaus for leaving you when you were just a little girl. You didn't blame him for giving you to a woman he used to be good friends with some years ago. Because you knew now, that you could have been in serious danger if you lived with him. With all the deadly creatures around him, you were actually kind of glad that he had given you away from himself and protected you like that. But now, you were old enough to learn and hear more, and ready to meet him which was why you sat in that bus, on your way to Mystic Falls.
You had your earphones on, nodding your head to the music that played from your phone. You liked music, and you usually had your earphones wherever you went. This time wasn't an exception. One of your current favorite songs were playing from Spotify, while you looked out of the window and adored the snowy surroundings. Compared to your hometown, Mystic Falls seemed very sweet, even though the bus hadn't even entirely reached the town yet. But it was nearby, you could tell. You felt like you belonged there, you felt drawn to it.
"Hey, what the hell?", you could hear from your other side, so you took out one earphone and looked how two guys in the back of the bus started to stumble forward, fists flying as they battled, god knows over what, but nevertheless the bus driver stopped the vehicle, causing both of the young men to stumble to the front seats.
You looked at the tanned, tallish guy who clearly had some kind of anger issues, and shivered uncomfortably when he shot you a glare. Then he turned back to his friend, who was the complete opposite. While the other guy was tanned, and had dark hair and eyes to match, the other was pale, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hey, get out", the bus driver insisted, "I don't allow that shit in my bus." Both of the boys looked at each other in frustration, and the tanned guy gave the driver a grin, hoping to get to his good side.
"C'mon, bro, we and my buddy we're just messing with each other. We'll get out pretty soon, we're going back to Mystic Falls", he smiled, and somehow, the driver gave in and the paler boy sat down next to you. His friend found a seat of his own, and they began talking quietly, until the blue-eyed boy next to you turned to you.
"Hope it's okay if I sit here?", he asked, and you nodded shyly before turning back to the window. You didn't have time to put your earphone back in, when the same boy touched your arm, making you turn to him and raise your eyebrow. "Where are you going?", he continued speaking, and you chuckled, and glanced at the cute guy's handsome friend before replying.
"Mystic Falls", you simply said, and the sweet boy broke into a smile.
"No way. That's cool. I'm Matt", he said and gave you his hand which you shook while mirroring his smile.
"Y/N."

"So, uh, you know about the supernatural shit? That's... wow. How?", Tyler, Matt's friend, asked. He had moved to the seat behind you, and you were all three getting to know each other. Both of the guys turned out to be quite cool, and the drive to Mystic Falls had gotten so much better with their company.
"My mom told me", you shrugged, "anyway, tell me about Mystic Falls. Anything I should know before I come with you guys?", with a chuckle. Tyler and Matt glanced at each other, and you could see how they were clearly thinking about something specific which made your body stiffen and a lump to rise in your throat.
"Well, um, there's this one guy terrorizing the town. He wants to rule it, or whatever. He was there some time ago, but now he's back, and he'll do pretty much anything to get his way. He turned me into a hybrid. You should stay away from him, his name is Klaus", Tyler explained, and you sighed - you should have known. Of course your father wouldn't be perfect. How obvious.
You nodded your head, and listened to them talking about the other people in Mystic Falls, including vampire brothers Stefan and Damon, and the great girls there, and of course, their good friend Jeremy Gilbert. And that was a name you couldn't forget. A name that stuck in your mind.
But so did the fact that your dad was the villain in the story of Mystic Falls. And you had no clue how you'd approach him or deal with what was coming.

When the bus finally reached the adorable, though mysterious town of Mystic Falls, you got out with Matt and Tyler. You didn't have much luggage, so you just stuck with them when they decided to go to the local hangout called Mystic Grill, where they were apparently meeting up with Jeremy. The guys had been out of town for a while, and had missed their best friend, and with their permission you joined. You liked the thought of Jeremy Gilbert, what he'd be like, what he'd look like, how he'd treat you - you just had to meet him.
You couldn't see Jeremy at first because of all the bro hugs Tyler and Matt went for. It took them several minutes to get it over with, but then Tyler swung an arm over your shoulders and walked you to Jeremy who was seriously much hotter than you had even imagined. He was the incarnation of hot. His face was perfect, his body clearly worked on, and his entire presence oozed with charm and it only became more flawless when he flashed a gorgeous smile at you.
"Jer, this is our new friend Y/N. We met her on the bus", Matt introduced, and Jeremy gladly took your hand and kissed the top of it, seeming only more and more perfect with each second. You shivered, and blushed shyly as he winked at you, but Matt and Tyler only laughed.
"He's not that charming, really. Don't let him fool you", Tyler teased, and pushed the Gilbert boy.
"Yeah?", Jeremy grinned at Tyler, but then looked into your eyes, "nice to meet you, Y/N. What are you doing in Mystic Falls?" You scratched the back of your neck, and uncomfortably fidgeted on the spot where you were standing, trying to come up with a decent lie or a way to gently tell them the truth. You knew that the moment you'd reveal whose daughter you were, you'd be judged and kicked out of their company, but you sucked at lying, so you took the risk.
"I came looking for my dad, actually", you admitted, and all three raised their eyebrows in interest. They looked at each other, and when Matt asked if it was anyone they'd know, you cleared your throat, wondering what the hell to tell them but then you just decided to go for it. Fuck it.
"Yes, I believe you do know him. I'm the only daughter of Klaus Mikaelson."

"You two dimwits brought Klaus' daughter into town? No-- you didn't only welcome her with warm open arms, but you actually became friends with her. This is great. You guys are such idiots. It's not like this totally made it harder for us to kill Klaus. It's not like this totally caused 99 more problems for us to deal with. And she's pretty much all of them. Do something - get rid of her!"
Matt and Tyler stared at Damon in shock. If anyone was an idiot, then it was Damon. You didn't know this though, because you were sitting with Jeremy and his sister Elena in one of the booths in Mystic Grill while the Salvatores and your new friends were discussing the pros and cons of your arrival. And so far, Damon Salvatore had only found bad things and sides about the whole situation and in his opinion you needed to be killed off to make things easier for them.
"Slow down, Damon. We can't just kill her. She's an innocent girl who came here looking for his father", Stefan pushed into the conversation. "But we could use her to get to Klaus. You know, pretend to keep her as a hostage or something. I don't know-- though one thing is for certain, and that is, Y/N Mikaelson stays alive", he continued. Damon groaned and rolled his eyes, but you didn't know that even though you weren't going to die, you had gotten yourself into seriously deep shit.
Your conversation with Jeremy and Elena was interrupted when Stefan, with a pair of gorgeous eyes and a kind smile, lowered himself to the level of your face and tried to give off a comfortable, warm, friendly impression. And he succeeded, while you felt suspicious about Damon who kept glaring at you as if you were the abomination he thought your father was as well.
"Hey, Y/N. I'm Stefan Salvatore, and I'd really appreciate it if you came with me. I won't hurt you, I promise", Stefan suggested, and you gave Jeremy a scared look, but he didn't know what to say or how to react. Elena on the other hand, was smiling brightly, pushing you into trusting Stefan and although you weren't sure of it, you took Stefan's hand and let him walk you towards the exit. Before you got out, he looked into your eyes, "You aren't scared. You trust me", he spoke and a compulsive need to do as he said washed over you.
And suddenly, you trusted Stefan Salvatore.
He took you to his house, where he let you nap on the couch. Damon kept his eyes strictly on you, not trusting you, he believed that the toxic blood ran in the family and that you were just another Mikaelson that would bring ruin to their town. But you weren't. You just wanted to meet Klaus. And maybe go out with Jeremy Gilbert. But that was all.
While Stefan and Damon called Klaus and told him how they had something precious, something important to the big bad wolf, Jeremy stopped by. Stefan told Klaus how they were keeping someone close to Klaus as a hostage, but it wasn't even near the truth - you got to eat popcorn and listen to music while playing board games with Jeremy who showed up just to entertain you, and to get to know you.
"You seem really nice, Y/N", Jeremy admitted at one point, and made his next move on Labyrinth. The two of you were getting cozy on the floor of the living room in the Salvatore house, and waiting for Klaus to show up wasn't even nearly as boring as it would have been without the Gilbert boy. He was funny, and friendly, and unbelievably hot. You liked him a lot, but you tried to play it cool and avoided being too obvious.
"Yeah, I think you're just saying that to distract me from your cheating, which is what you're obviously doing", you said, and eyed his movements on the board. A laughter escaped Jeremy's mouth, and while you two got to know each other and continued to play - and you usually lost - Stefan and Damon followed from aside.
"It's nice to see Jeremy getting along with a girl like that again. A sweet girl, too", Stefan pointed out to Damon who just shook his head.
"She's not sweet. She may seem sweet, but I'm telling you, just like every other Mikaelson, she has an evil side hidden and it's only a matter of time when we'll get the first taste", Damon told Stefan, but before it could turn into an argument, the doorbell rang. "Sounds like our special guest has arrived", Damon smirked, and rubbed his hands together as he walked to the front door and opened it to reveal a very innocently smiling Klaus Mikaelson. For sure he was packed with evil intentions, though.
"Oh, Klaus. How horribly unfortunate for us to see you here", Damon grinned, earning a chuckle from Klaus. He wasn't in the mood to play games and deal with Damon's sarcasm right now, so while holding his hands behind his back, Klaus got right down to business.
"I have come to fetch what is mine. I do not have any particularly important women in my life at the moment so I am rather interested to see who you have caught", Klaus smiled, making Damon laugh this time. Klaus kept his expression steady, but he wanted to attack Damon, rip open his throat and dig out his eyes. Surprisingly well the Mikaelson managed to keep a smile on his pink lips, though.
"Not even Care Bear?", Damon chuckled, making Klaus angry on the inside, but once again, he showed a whole other side.
"Now, why would you have one of your friends as a hostage? It seems you have not thought about this, Damon. If you have taken Caroline, then as much as I would like to tear off your limbs one by one, I must admit I am not motivated. Nor do I feel threatened", Klaus said, and got ready to walk away but before he could, Damon raised his voice.
"Little Gilbert? Bring her here", he ordered, and in a few seconds, Jeremy walked from the living room, hand in hand with you. You were nervous, but excited to meet your dad, whose smile dropped - he seemed to recognize you. He swallowed thickly, and his face was pulled into a sad look as his eyes began filling with tears.
"Y/N?", he asked quietly, and you smiled while feeling tears in your own eyes, too. You nodded, and got ready to run to Klaus' arms, but as you were about to do so, Damon held you back. His palm swatted you in the chest and you huffed, and writhed uncomfortably as pain spread out on your skin, and seeing you in the tiniest bit of agony caused Klaus' blood to boil in his veins. After all the effort he had seen to keep his daughter safe, he wasn't going to lose you because of a bloody Salvatore. And his least favorite Salvatore, too.
"I am warning you, Damon. Let my daughter go", Klaus growled, his fangs already sticking out. Your eyes widened at the sight, but you weren't scared in any way, in fact you were fascinated. He was so beautiful, yet dark and clearly a creature many thought was monstrous. But seeing him like that made you incredibly impressed, your father was the great, impressive, powerful Niklaus Mikaelson that everyone feared.
Well, except Damon who was always ready to throw his life on the line.
"Nope. Not until you promise to leave Mystic Falls", Damon said, demanding a lot from Klaus, and for the first time in that day, you were sincerely scared. How would Klaus react to being bossed around like that? Not well, you assumed.
Klaus looked at Damon, then at you, but then returned his gaze to Damon. "Fine. As you wish. But now, give me Y/N", Klaus spoke, his accent smooth and capable of sending shivers down your spine. He seemed so angry, yet when he looked at you, it was all loving and fond. He offered you his hand, and when you looked at Damon, the Salvatore nodded. You walked to your father, but instead of taking his hand, you hugged him.
And it was the most amazing moment ever. You were hugging your dad, for the first time ever. He held you tightly, and as he did so, he spoke, "I am going to take you to the most magical city in the world. And I will introduce you to my siblings. I will make sure you won't regret coming to me, love."
It made you very happy.
"Wait-- could we take Jeremy Gilbert with us?", you asked, and although you could see how uncomfortable it made Klaus, he nodded.
"Whatever you want, darling", Klaus promised, and you gave a smile to Jeremy who absolutely agreed to come with you and your father. So the three of you traveled to New Orleans, where a happy life awaited.
Later, you'd become a vampire, so would Jeremy, and although it was a rare case in the history of vampires, you and him got married. You became best friends with Rebekah, and close with Elijah, and together, you lived happily ever after in the most magical city in the whole world.
