Imagine being turned by Klaus which makes Caroline angry and she tries to kill you

When Klaus Mikaelson arrived to Mystic Falls for the first time, even if it took him ages to find himself in his own body, he fell for you. Head over heels, he was desperately in love with you and such feelings frightened him but he decided to enjoy it instead of run from it and started to build up your relationship. It was creepy, to say the least, when your teacher, and friend, Alaric approached you with flirtatious intentions but it was soon told you by Damon how it wasn't Ric, it was Alariklaus as the Salvatore enjoyed calling him. And as soon as you found out who he really was, you felt flattered and interested, attracted even, though you had heard many stories of how Niklaus Mikaelson was the incarnation of evil.

Nonetheless he seemed quite charming to you, especially when you finally met him in his own body instead of Alaric's. You loved all of him, from the way he called you love to the way he seemed to be fond of you too, and protected you no matter what. He had done bad things and was only about to do more, but you were too deeply in love to care about those things he was often judged of. You saw past that, and even if sometimes you didn't, you couldn't help but feel like you belonged in his arms. You felt complete, happy, and warm with him.

"I must admit, love, I have grown utterly loving of you. I care about you, truly, Y/N. If you do not care to begin a relationship - if that is what people say nowadays - I completely understand, but I would indeed be disappointed. I would love to show you the world after I have my hybrid army to protect us from the bad around us. I love you, Y/N", Klaus admitted on a snowy day in November, when winter had decided to fall into place and paint the streets of Mystic Falls with gorgeous snow and frost. He was wearing a lovely trench coat, you were wearing your favorite one to match the season that had arrived into town, and to warm up your cold hands, Klaus held them and stared into your eyes.

That night, you and him had your first kiss.

Then it was all downhill from there. It seemed like Klaus forgot all about you, and now had eyes for Caroline. You were hurt - after all Klaus said, promised and did for you, he just threw away the bond you had made strong and nearly unbreakable, but not enough. He set all your bridges on fire and the path you had found together was left behind and you started to walk your own way, forgetting all about him too. Or tried, at least. It was hard, you were still in love with him but he became too busy with building his army, working things out with his family, fighting the Salvatores and playing the biggest role in the freakshow he had brought to Mystic Falls. You hated it, but no matter what, you just couldn't hate him.

You couldn't quite understand why he left you like that, stopped being in contact and appeared to stop feeling anything for you. First he confessed his love and made you feel so special and beautiful, but the next day, he doesn't feel like talking to you. You assumed that he was too busy with everything else, but it still hurt.

And still, he somehow managed to find time for Caroline damn Forbes.

"He's a selfish idiot. I kissed him and this is what he does? Ignores me, neglects me, forgets me, but finds all the time in the world to flirt with Caroline. And she doesn't even know to appreciate it. She doesn't feel the same way. Not the way I do", you complained to your friends on a daily basis - Matt, or Stefan, or maybe even Damon over some drinks. You and Caroline used to be friends, but now, you felt nothing but jealousy and hatred. You didn't want a guy to come between you and your friends but you drifted apart, just like you and Klaus did, and you couldn't talk about it to Elena or Bonnie either. So you leaned on the shoulders of the men in Mystic Falls.

When you were put in a dangerous situation, all life-threatening and what not, Klaus decided to show up again. It was one of Damon's bad plans, but it worked so you decided to let the Salvatore go although he ripped your throat open with his fangs, leaving you dead until Klaus arrived, panicking and scared - worried that he'd lose you. He couldn't explain why he had neglected you so, but he did still care, and in the hopes of you coming back, and the selfishness of not being capable of letting you, he sliced his wrist open and fed you his blood.

You were long gone, but before so, you managed to swallow some of his magical blood, and it slid down your throat and woke you up in a way you had never before experienced. Hours later, you jolted awake, gasping for air and craving for one thing only - blood. You looked around and found yourself in Klaus' bedroom, which he had showed you while showing some of his paintings. As you sat on that bed, you realized that the room was full of paintings of you, pictures of you, and a smile tugged on your lips until the door was opened and you were alerted.

You jumped up, and with your new, inhuman speed, you tried to run out of the room and surprise whoever was entering the room but Klaus was faster, stronger. He grabbed you, and wrapped his arms around you while smiling widely and holding you tightly against his own body. You swallowed thickly as a familiar feeling shot through your body and veins, filling you up with love and warmth. You had missed him.

"I hate you, you know", you snapped, only for Klaus to laugh.

"No, love. You don't. But I am truly sorry for treating you like that. I give you my word, from now on, I will only have eyes for you, my dear Y/N. You have tons to learn, little vamp", he grinned, and kissed your cheek softly. You couldn't help but smile, he was right, but it was all good now. You had needed and missed Klaus and finally you were back in his arms.

But god, it was going to make Caroline very jealous.

You were walking on the streets of Mystic Falls, with your new daylight ring shining on your finger, just enjoying the winter. It had been weeks since Klaus turned you, and you had gotten to most of the vampire life, and saying you loved it would be an understatement. You were happy, and felt lucky, and even thanked Damon who without your permission just killed you. You and Klaus were happy together, as well, and everything was just dandy for you two.

But not for Caroline. She had finally found the heart to love Klaus, and grew feelings for him but definitely at the wrong time. He already found happiness with you. And that angered Caroline to the point, where she attacked you on the street, smacking you into a wall and kicking you to your back so she had an upper hand.

"Gosh, Y/N, I'm surprised you're still alive. I didn't think you'd last as a vampire", Caroline smirked, holding you down as you coughed up blood and spat it out on the white snow, now covered in red.

"You know, Caroline, that's what was said about you once. I guess people are wrong sometimes. Because I'm amazing at being a vampire", you fired back, and sprinted up only to kick Caroline into a wall and then hold her from her neck. She was stronger though, and managed to pull your hand away from him, cracking a few fingers as she did so.

"Is that so? Well, alright. But there is one thing I want all to myself, Y/N. I want Klaus. You know he loves me. And it turns out I love him too. I love him, Y/N, okay, and I don't think you do", Caroline growled and hissed at you, her fangs sticking out bravely. You did the same, and so you two began a real fight which ended up with your bleeding on the snowy street, clearly beaten.

And Caroline would have killed you, if a certain someone hadn't arrived. But Klaus did, he certainly did and he didn't hesitate for one second. He snapped Caroline's neck, and then picked you up from the ground before taking you home where he finally found time to check if you were alright.

"Of course I'm okay. I'm a vampire", you scoffed, and got up to walk away. You were angry, at Caroline, so you did not want to take it out on Klaus and therefore you decided to leave and be alone for a second but Niklaus wasn't one to let his girlfriend bottle up the rage and sadness in her. He grabbed your hand, and twirled you back to him, forcing you to speak up.

"I did not mean it physically. I mean, are you alright, Y/N?", Klaus asked again. And this time, you shook your head.

"No...", you mumbled, "Caroline was my friend once, you know. But not anymore, it seems. But Nik, I love you and if you love me then we shouldn't let her come between us. Okay? It's just you and me, and Caroline doesn't matter."

Klaus nodded, and smiled as he set a lovely kiss on your lips, quick but caring. "I love you too, darling. Only you", he replied quietly. And that was frankly all you needed to know and have.

oh and btw it's november which means CHRISTMAS IS COMING SOon and i love christmas i'm not even kidding i saved like 3242050140 christmas headers and lockscreens and today i ate gingerbread men and put on christmas lights and OH MY GOD IM SO READY and like i already did with this imagine, i'll probably describe a lot of winter and also prepare for the incoming christmas themed imagines
