Imagine living in Mystic Falls and having to help your friends deal with a new special group in town ((PART 3 of 3))

Caroline, Bonnie and Elena, with Thor and Bruce, were at the crashed jet, just sitting around and talking about everything possible. Except Bruce, he was working hard on the plans of the new jet, and to be honest, the girls found it quite attractive how he was so smart and adorable. Though they all did adore Thor as well, his big arms and gorgeous hair, and stunning eyes and a beautiful smile. He was handsome, but so was Banner, and everyone else in the group of superheroes.

"Oh wow, you did this all by yourself?", Elena asked from Bruce who was drawing and concentrating hard, and now, blushing as well. He nodded, and scratched the back of his neck, and fell into utter embarrassment when Elena told the other girls to come check Bruce's plans out as well. Caroline and Bonnie complimented his work, and awkwardly stuttering, Dr. Banner thanked them.

"Well, Thor, look at you. All muscly and everything", Caroline pointed out when she noticed Thor's unhappy look. Concluding from the stories he had told about his life in Asgard, he was used to attention and being somewhat famous, and Caroline knew the feeling and therefore didn't forget to Thor's inner queen.

"True, you're so...", Bonnie continued and let out a dreamy sigh, "hot." Thor grinned smugly, and thanked the ladies for their kind words before striding over to Bruce and smacking his back in a friendly way. Every time Bruce was touched somehow though, it made the girls shriek in fear - they did not want to witness the monster that had been told to hide in the innocent, cute man.

Though it would have been cool, in a way.

"You should stop by Stark Tower some time", Tony was heard suggesting to Damon, who nodded his head, agreeing to pay a visit one day. The two were getting along well, although sometimes they'd engage in an argument full of sarcasm and witty remarks. But so far, they seemed quite similar in all kinds of ways and it annoyed Bekah, Nat and Kol more than anything. Though Kol would sometimes chuckle at something Tony said. He preferred him over Damon, at least.

"What the bloody hell are we even looking for?", Rebekah asked then, and made Natasha shrug. They got along quite well - while Damon and Tony had been bonding, so had Nat and Rebekah. And since they were both badass women, it wasn't hard for them to become quick friends. Which kind of left Kol on the outside, with no friends in the small group, but he did have an eye for Natasha and tried to flirt with her but whenever he called her darling, Rebekah knew she was one step closer to snapping his neck with two fingers.

"Not sure. Something useful. Speaking of useful, what are you doing here?", Tony asked from Kol, who growled and didn't hesitate to attack the man. Quickly, Stark used his hand to call for a metal glove that soon appeared and wrapped itself around his boss, building up the Iron Man suit. But Tony didn't have time to suit up, when Kol had already pushed him to the ground. Tony tried to fight back with shooting at him, but neither of them had time when Natasha had already wrapped her legs around Kol's neck and twisted until they heard bones cracking, causing the vampire to fall limp on the ground.

Tony gasped for air, and quickly scrambled up, while earning a disapproving, angry look from Rebekah. She and Kol maybe weren't the closest, or the ideal siblings, but she did care about him and didn't like it very much when people like Tony Stark who was still partly a stranger, annoyed her brother.

"Was that really necessary?", Rebekah scoffed, but then gave Natasha a smile. Bekah despised weak women, but looked like she had found an equally strong, independent one and would love to spend some time with her in the future.

"Well, it was definitely the first and the last time I try it", Tony let out a low breath, and made Damon laugh.

Natasha wasn't in the mood for such though, and neither was Rebekah, and that's why they forced Damon to drag Kol's dead body. Fun.

"Well, Loki, what is this glorious purpose you speak of?"

Klaus and Loki were getting along - too well, really - and for the past twenty minutes they had been walking in front of Clint and Jeremy who were both trying to keep an eye on the villainous couple. Their conversation about their cruelest tricks and evil plans didn't ease the stress and suspicions at all, and Clint had already rolled his eyes so hard he was certain of them dropping soon. Jeremy liked Clint though, he was a lot of fun and for the first time in forever, the Gilbert boy enjoyed someone's company, truly.

"I shall be king, and make the people of this petty Midgard kneel before me. You, on the other hand, Niklaus, aren't at all that bad. You have ruled once as well, have you not? Perhaps I should include you in my plans", Loki smirked, making Klaus do the same.

"Okay, that's enough. Shut your mouth or I'll put an arrow in your eye", Clint spoke from behind the asgardian, earning a chuckle from Klaus who turned to agent Barton to defend his new buddy.

"Agent Barton, please do not start rioting or I must find a way to quiet you down", Niklaus said with an evil smile, before turning back to Loki and walking further with him. Loki's hands were still in the cuffs, but the cover on his mouth had been removed, and Klaus was glad. He had finally met someone as evil, yet as great as himself.

"You have a Loki, we have a Klaus", Jeremy whispered to Clint who chuckled.

"Yeah, well, seems like they're not the only ones getting along. Apparently Stark and that Damon guy are getting close. And Steve and Y/N, I guess. And Nat sent me a selfie with that Rebekah", Clint explained, and earned a pat on the shoulder from Jeremy who smiled widely.

"And you and me."

It was true, Clint and Jeremy shared many interests and opinions and they were like best friends who had been waiting for each other all of their lives. They both deserved more attention and recognition, and they were both funny and sarcastic, though in a much different way than Tony and Damon. Clint and Jeremy were like they had been meant to be besties all along.

"Yeah. You're a decent guy, Gilbert. But we better continue babysitting these two, before they run away together and get married and then start taking over the world", Clint pointed out, and made Jeremy laugh.

"Talk about relationship goals."

You, Stefan, Steve and Elijah were walking back to the jet where the others had gotten to work already. You guys had gotten lost in the town, somehow, even you, but you - and Elijah - were mostly lost in Steve's eyes, so. But you were too slow for the others, and Tony had sent one of the quick vampires to get the necessary tools since he was pretty sure you were all four doing something he didn't want to know more about.

"Y/N and Steve seem pretty close, don't you think?", Stefan whispered to Elijah, as you and Captain walked in front of them, laughing and having a blast together. Stefan had to repeat his words three times, until Elijah finally heard him and returned from his dreamy thoughts.

"Oh. Yes, I suppose they do indeed. But I cannot blame her", Elijah sighed, and earned a confused, yet judging look from Stefan. He's so dreamy, Elijah would have liked to add, but didn't. He was a man of honor and it would ruin his reputation if someone would find out how he absolutely adored this patriotic man. It wasn't romantic though, probably, but Elijah had missed people like Steve and was glad to find one now.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?", Stefan asked from Elijah, who cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Not a thing. Shall we join them, now?", he suggested to the Salvatore, and without listening to his answer, quickly ran to Steve and you.

You had been having a lot of fun on this adventure, and not only did you have a huge crush on Steve, but you loved spending some time with Stefan and Elijah too. But then again, you did love the others too - from Jeremy to Damon. And Tony was pretty hot too, so was Bruce, Thor, Clint, and even Natasha. Damn it.

"I must say, Captain Rogers, it has been an honor to get to know you", Elijah spoke up, and earned a smile from Steve.

"I could say the same, Elijah. Thank you for being so welcoming, although I sort of, uh, destroyed a part of your town. It's been a while since I flew one of those things", Steve awkwardly said and scratched the back of his neck. As he did so, his outfit stretched out and his muscles could be seen better, and not only you, but also Elijah and Stefan leaned closer to take a better look quickly at the soldier's worked body.

America's sweetheart, indeed.

You reached the jet, where Natasha pushed Steve's shoulder playfully, only for Tony to carry on the teasing. "Ooh, Capsicle, did you get lucky? It took you guys a while to get here", he pointed out, and managed to make Steve's cheeks red. You walked to Tony, and poked his chest, your finger meeting the arc reactor powering him.

"Don't be such a mean bean, Stark. I heard you had a thing for Damon, anyway", you giggled, and made Rebekah laugh out loud.

"Incorrect information, honey", Tony insisted, and made you shrug and mouth whatever before going to the girls who had spent the last hours with Thor and Banner. And they were all smiling and looking quite happy, you knew they had enjoyed the time with the guys. No wonder, after all, Bruce was one hell of a smart guy, and smart was always sexy, and Thor was pretty much the incarnation of sexy.

"Well, better get to work then. C'mon, we'll need plenty of inhuman strength", Natasha chuckled, and as he said this, the vampires of Mystic Falls, and Steve took a step to the broken jet, causing a very awkward situation to ignite.

When it became dark, the jet was finally finished and the team was ready to get in and fly to the Helicarrier where they would have to lie their asses off to keep Director Nick Fury from shouting at them. The people of Mystic Falls had gathered to see what was going on, but Kol had compelled them away as you had requested, and so it was only you and your friends - friends that now also included the Avengers.

"I guess it's time for us to go. It was nice meeting you guys, especially you, bro", Clint then said, and smiled approvingly at Jeremy, who did the same. A bond between them had obviously been born. Natasha hugged Rebekah, which was a sight to behold for both the superheroes and the supernaturals, while Tony and Damon planned a meeting at Stark's tower at the end of the month.

The girls, including you, gave heart eyes to Cap, Thor and Banner and sadly said goodbye, but luckily they were all nice enough to hug you. Bruce was quite shy, but he did get the courage to hug you, Caroline, Bonnie and Elena, while Thor laughed and happily gave you all a huge hug, managing to fit you all between his two arms. And it made you all want to cry - he was such a big man, what the hell. Steve was all adorable and blushed while hugging you girls, but still made it feel all formal and official. Though you could have sworn that he hugged you a bit longer than he did with the others.

You forced Tony into a hug too, and the same with Clint, and with Natasha you shook hands and she thanked you for being so kind and taking their arrival so peacefully. It took ages to say goodbye to everyone, but finally they got to leave, much to your - and Elijah's - dislike.

"Bye Steve...", you heard Elijah say quietly and weakly, but loud enough for the Captain to hear, and so he turned around and waved at Elijah who started to feel like a teenage girl, wanting to faint. You giggled, and walked to Elijah, and hugged him tightly.

You were happy that your town got a little excitement in it, and so many great people, but you had to admit that living with superheroes and all the supernatural people would be a challenge, especially for humans like you, and Matt who had unfortunately left town for a couple of days. Oh, the things he missed during his absence.

"Wait-- where's Nik?", you heard Rebekah yell. And much to your horror, you all realized that Klaus was indeed gone.

At the Helicarrier, Nick Fury locked Loki up, and told him to inform the director if he wanted magazines or something. In another room, the Avengers were talking about the fun experience and about how to continue the plan from there, but they were all concentrated on the people they had met. Specific people ran in the thoughts of specific people.

While no one really paid attention to Loki and his time in the cage that had been designed for the worst case with Banner in the vehicle, a man outside the team saw his chance to approach the asgardian. Loki was walking around his temporary cell, when he understood that he wasn't alone, and with a smirk painted on his lips, he turned to the hybrid that had managed to sneak into the Helicarrier.

"There aren't many people who can sneak up on me. I was hoping you'd take my offer, though", Loki spoke softly, and walked to the glass wall, to see his new companion's face well.

"Well, how could I say no to being a king?", Klaus, who had understood that Loki was the perfect associate, grinned.
