The same night, Jessica silently gathered her belongings, trying to avoid her boyfriend as she fled to her family. However, her boyfriend blocked her path just as she was leaving.

Jessica's boyfriend: Where are you running off to?

Jessica: Staying out with my friend. There's nothing wrong with you.

Jessica's boyfriend: I don't think it's such a good idea for you to leave out.

Jessica: You know what...I don't feel sorry for you. Everything you do is for yourself. You are greedy.

Jessica's boyfriend: Watch your mouth.

Jessica: You're selfish, you're manipulative, and you are a cheater.

Jessica's boyfriend: *slapped her*

Jessica: *hits him with the bag and pushes the door out of there and runs*

Jessica's boyfriend: *chasing her* You son of a bitch!

Noma: *surprised and hitting him with the bottle of wine with his head*

Jessica's boyfriend: *unconscious*

Noma: Come on, let's go! *holds her*

Jessica: *tearing a bit and gets in the car with Noma*

Noma: *drives away*

Josie sleeps in the hospital bed after spending the previous day with Caroline. When she awakens and opens her eyes, she spots Caroline sitting nearby.

Josie: Mom...

Caroline: *hearing and wakes up* Hey.

Josie: What's happening?

Caroline: There is nothing to worry about it.

Josie: Something is going on at home.

Caroline: *holding her hands* We can fix this, OK?

Josie: *looks at her*

Caroline: It's time to teach them a lesson.

Josie: What about the party tonight?

Caroline: ...I don't know, I'll tell you.

Josie: *hearing*

While Damon sits alone in his jail cell, he devises a breakout plan. Just then, a cop descends the stairs and approaches Damon. Using a magical trick, Damon makes the cop pass out and unlock the cell. He then employs another spell on the cop's mind, reinforcing his own feeling of innocence.

Damon, dressed in a cop outfit, exited the building and jumped into the car just before Klaus arrived and joined him inside.

Damon: Klaus?

Klaus: Damon?

Damon: What the hell have you done?

Klaus: Do you think it's my fault when I came alive for being a different person?

Damon: *hearing*

Klaus: I shouldn't be out here. Everything I've been through, it's for me and Hayley. Not to you, not to your brother, not everyone else. All I want is for Hope to stick with us. If she doesn't gather with us, we're dying for her.

Damon: How could you?

Klaus: All I wanted to do was take everything over from when I started. I want to restart.

Damon: I cared for you because you couldn't focus on yourself. Since you and Hayley got along, you have had a good effect on us. Maybe you're not real.

Klaus: I am real.

Damon: *hearing*

Klaus: It's when you embarrassed us and said something when I was buried in the ground. Saying all that lied, trying to betray me. What about me?

Damon: How come you saying some shit like that? I didn't say it.

Klaus: *tried to attack him*

Damon: *doing his magic to freeze* I can't let you do that. Because, like I said before, we were always gonna be brothers. So do me a favor, get the hell out of the car, or I'll kill you in here. *continues his magic to unfreeze*

Klaus: *looks at him and gets out of the car*

Damon: *drives away*

Klaus: *looking at the car took off*

Meanwhile, Ryan Clarke arrives at Mikaelson's mansion to look for Hope, explaining their absence from the house. While Hayley and Klaus are still out there, he primarily concerns himself with her safety. He calls the Triad team to locate Salvatore School, including details about the canceled Halloween party.

*New Orleans, Louisiana*

Davina works at the Rousseau's in the French Quarter. She has cared for the company for years, doing all she can with her longtime friends. Meanwhile, she has been saving money until Stefan arrives at the bar.

Stefan: Give me old-fashioned.

Davina: *sees him*

Stefan: *raised with his two fingers*

Davina: *smiles softly, pours the cup, and gives it to him* Welcome back, stranger.

Stefan: I drove all the way to see how you're doing.

Davina: Kol isn't here right now; he had to sort through his things.

Stefan: Don't pay him mind. I'd stop by the French Quarter here.

Davina: How is your brother doing?

Stefan: He's fine.

Davina: What about Caroline?

Stefan: Business is business.

Davina: No doubt about it.

Stefan: *smirks*

At Salvatore School, everyone is still busy decorating for tonight's party while Hope keeps an eye on everyone, and Raphael reads a spell book until Hope stops him.

Hope: Slow down, Raisin Bran. What is that you read?

Raphael: You know, I started from the beginning this morning. I need to keep studying to learn more.

Hope: Hang onto that thought because we're having a party. Honestly, I've been a bit quiet upstairs. I didn't enjoy the party that much.

Raphael: Wow, I'm astonished.

Hope: Why? You don't like the party either?

Raphael: Well...I liked it.

Hope: Good luck with your friends.

Raphael: Hope? I was considering that we should socialize like usual.

Hope: Socialize?

Raphael: Whether you are not pretty busy.

Hope: I'm kinda busy right now.

Raphael: I'm about to go check my fellas. *walks away*

Hope: Be careful.

After spending time at the lake after training, Andy and Bonnie walked through the woods to find their way back to school. There, they noticed Triad cars parked directly in front of the building.

Bonnie: Wait.

Andy: *hearing*

Bonnie: We had to turn around; there's Triad.

Andy: Who are they?

As the other residents prepared for the party, the Triad team broke into the building to incite riots. The residents fled as the Triads went their separate ways to confront everyone. MG called out to Alpha and the other team to stop the Triads. In the meantime, Kaleb heard MG urging him to apply all of his training to fight back against them.

Raphael confronts Matthew in the gym, accompanied by other residents. As soon as they hear the rumbling, the Triads emerge from the shadows to initiate the battle.

Matthew: *sees everyone going off*

Raphael: It's a freakin' ambush. Everybody, run! *goes over one of the team started punching him*

Matthew: *doing the same and got attacked from behind*

Rafael: *doing the magic to save both of them* Come right here!

Raphael and Matthew: *runs over to him*

Rafael: *giving them a power*

Hope: *goes to the hallway and sees all the chaos and doing the magic to defeat half of the Triad members and sees Ryan comes here*

Ryan: Well, well, well.

Hope: *looks at him*

Ryan: I can tell you were surprised by me.

Hope: The hell I'm not. You ruined our moment. Again.

Ryan: I told you it was not over when I said it was. Do you know why you were upset and worried about your brain? It's about your parents, including Landon.

Hope: Where is he? I've been looking for him all day.

Ryan: Landon...he's approaching me early in the morning; he had some deep trouble.

Hope: And then you brainwashed him.

Ryan: First things first. Be fair, and don't hesitate when you encounter all three of them, as I've approached them in various ways.

Hope: I hope you will give me everything you want. Please let everyone else go; they are already destroying each other.

Ryan: Look at them now; my team is already damaged!

Hope: Oh, really? *gets closer to him* I'm gonna make you an extreme. You can count me in days.

Ryan: I bet you are. *doing the magic to flash-forward with Halloween Party*

Hope: *looks around and sees Ryan disappeared*

Everyone is having a great time at the Halloween party as Hope rushes upstairs to the room, thinking frantically about how to bring her family and Landon back. Suddenly, Beth transforms into a ghost, appearing and standing in front of Hope while she gazes into the mirror.

Hope: Wow. Nice costume.

Beth: You require assistance to reclaim your life.

Hope: That's all I need for my parents and my friend. Nothing but a trick.

Beth: *hearing* Ryan mentioned that if you have enough time to save them until Thanksgiving, his offer requires 25k.

Hope: Well. I'm so ashamed.

Beth: You do not have to wait; you must grab and cash.

Hope: *hearing*

Beth: *disappeared*

Hope: *looking at the mirror*
