Encre's P.O.V

My eye lids fluttered open slowly with the feeling of sleepiness dragging away from me as I gave a giant yawn. For some time I was staring at the same ancient celing of my room, my gaze moved around the room, I was comforted of the feeling of great safety in the giant castle. Eventually I sat up and stretched, hearing the obvious clicks of my bones which echoed around the room. I was able to get out of the warm blankets of my bed with not much of a struggle, well actually... I fell out. I walked over to the windows, drawing the red curtains away from them the light soon hit my eyes. With a gasp I looked at the view of my window. What I saw was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, it was likea giant piece of art... Outside the heavy winter snow was falling from the skies grey clouds above, layering ontop of each other around the land. The Forbidden Forest no longer looked like a horrifying death scene, now it looked like a mystical forest that would have been from a fantasy story like Narnia. In the horizon I could see the small village of Underville, lit by magic, it looked cosy, safe and... for once, happy looking...

After a long look I drew the curtains over the windows making the room darker and only lit by a small fireplace. I headed to my wardrobe, taking out a small white dress I took got dressed into it before heading out of my room and closing the door behind me, headed down the labrinth-like hallways of Fallacy's castle. Looking around I saw the same red carpets that covered the floor beneath me, the same old red curtains and candle holders that held the light source of every room in the castle. Suddenly I heard running footsteps behind me, instinctively I turned around to see Fallacy who was running towards me with a face full of excitement and happiness. "Oh! Good morning Fa-" I was interuppted by Fallacy who had picked me up bridal style making me squeak in surprise. He kissed me on my right cheek before he looked into my eyes and started to make a small laugh. "Oh Encre! I have surprise for you, one that you will love!" I looked at him with a curious look. "What kind of surprise? What is it?" I asked with a smile of both excitement and curiosity. "I'll show you." Before I could reply to Fallacy he teleported us both to the door of the main hall in the castle. Fallacy put me down so I could enter the hall myself, with some force I pushed the door open and went in only to be hit be a nice feeling of warmth and the smell of pine. I looked around the hall with widened eyes of awe, the hall was decorated with the best of decorations. The place was lit by the giant fireplace and chandeliers with lit candles on them, soon my gaze moved to the left side of the hall. I gasped in amazement and wonder when I saw the giant decorated shape of a christmas tree. It had been decorated with balls of expensive gemstones as well as glowing lights that floated around the tree in a swirl. I turned back to Fallacy who was smiling, happily I ran up to him and tightly wrapped my arms around him in a hug. "Oh thank Fallacy! I've never been able to celelbrate Christmas with loved ones!" Tears had formed in the corners of my eyes as Fallacy hugged me back. I pulled back from him and wiped my tears away. "I need to get everyone gifts!!! But... I dont know what..." I thought for a moment before an idea popped into my mind. 'I know! I can make a giant painting for them to share!' "I need to go and make gifts for yoy all! Thank you Fallacy!" Quickly I ran out of the main hall, up the stairs and down the hallways until I reached my art room where I closed the doors and immediately got to work. I had a particular image in my mind and that was what I was going to go for...

Several hours had passed and the painting was nearly done, I looked out of the windows. 'One more hour until the moon comes up and Fallacy will be expecting me at the hall...' I thought as I looked back at my painting which had begun to dry. My hands were killing me from the fact of holding several different paintbrushes of different sizes for hours at times. My eyes started to droop and I couldn't help but let out a giant yawn. ' Maybe... I'll take just a small nap...' In only a few seconds I was already in deep sleep on the floor next to the painting.

I was woken up by a ray of light which had escaped through the curtains. I sat up to see that the moon was already up and I jumped up in shock. Taking a glance at the painting and testing to see if it was dry, which it was, I grabbed a box from a pile in the room and placed the enormous canvas into it with gentle hands. Picking the box up came with a giant struggle from the annoying size but I was soon able to leave the room with it in my grasp. I ran to my room and got dressed into another proper dress before leaving and walking down the hallways. Awkwardly I walked down the stairs and to the door of the main hall. I could hear the chatter of others insides and I gulped. I was extremely nervous of their thoughts and reactions of the gift. I breathed slowly, calming myself before I picked up the courage to open the doors and enter in. The first thing I saw was Jasper who was seated on the floor while he looked at some books with annoyance. Sauve sat my him with a gift from himself to Jasper who took it with excitement, he opened the box and took out what was inside of it, a small fluffy bear toy which Jasper hugged before hugging his own butler who ended up getting a tint of purple on his cheeks. I closed the door which drew everyones attention to me, I gulped. Jasper jumped up and ran to me, giving me a giant hug which almost made me fall over. "Encre! Im so happy you're here! We're going to have a great time!! " Jasper shouted with an overexcited tone. I smiled and stoked the back of his head before he pulled away. With a loud and slightly nervous voice I spoke. "I made a gift for everyone in here... I really hope you like it..." I looked at Fallacy who was seated in a red chair. " Thank you so much Fallacy. For making my life worthwile of living." Fallacy stood up with a smile before dissapearing and teleporting next to me. "I did it because I love you." He spoke softly before giving me a kiss. I passed the giant box to him in which he opened with no hesitation, he took out the canvas and looked at it in what seemed like, awe? He looked at me with an amazed look. "Did you paint this for us Encre?" With hesitation I nodded. The maids, Jasper and Sauve went to Fallacy's side to look at the painting for themselves before they all looked up at me at the same time. Terror hit me. 'T-They don't like it do they!?' Suddenly the moment of silence was broken. Everyone shouted at the same time with an unexplainable amount of amazement and wonder. "IT'S AMAZING!!!?!?!!?!" Soon I found myself in a giant hug which was made up of everyone. I didnt even have a moment to breath!? Their reactions were more than I expected. A smile appeared on my face as well as a few tears that ran dwon my face. "T-Thank you everyone... For liking it...I honestly thought that you wouldn't like it at all... But... Seeing your reactions of it makes me truly happy..." Everyone let go of me and looked at me with sympathy and smiles. Fallacy walked up to me, bent over and wiped the tears of my face. "Encre. I will never dislike anything of you... Espeacially your artwork. It is truly amazing." I jumped up to Fallacy in a tight hug which he gladly took. Fuku, who held Fibi in her arms, couldn't help but smile. "Awwwww..." She said quietly.

Eventually everyone ended up seated around the giant table which was covered in all sorts of christmassy foods. I looked at Fallacy who sat next to me, but soon my gaze was drawn towards his plate... It was covered with what seemed to be like mortal food? "Um... Fallacy? Why are you eating that kind of food? I thought vampires don't eat it." I pointed at his plate whilst others talked to each other. "Oh. Its not mortal food. You see vampires must eat foods that include blood in it.This food on my plate and Jaspers plate is speacial food which had been soaked or cooked or something like that... Which vampires can eat." I nodded as if I understood which I didn't at all. Fallacy stood up with what seemed like a glass of wine or something in his hand. " For everyone to have a lovely christmas!" He announced in a clear voice, everyone else repeated his words as they also held up their drinks, which I did so as well. Soon everyone was allowed to eat and grabbed my fork and picked up a chunk of roast chicken which I stuffed into my mouth. As I chewed the warming sensations and tastes swam around my mouth which was soon swallowed. I couldn't help but let out a "Mmmmmm! This is delicious!" Fallacy let out a small chuckle as he ate his 'vampire food'.

After two hours everyone had finished their meals and Fallacy stood up, picking me up in his arms which made me squeak in the process. "F-Fallacy? Where are you taking me?" Fallacy smiled and walked out of the hall with me in his grasp. "To bed Missy. You've been working on the painting all day remember?" I pouted like a little kid in annoyance. "Ok..." Fallacy teleported me to my room where he placed me on my bed and covered me up with blankets. He sat by me and took out something from inside of his cape. It was a little box in which he passed to me. I held it as I sat up and opened it. I took out something from inside of it and held it in my hands. There was a necklace which a single red ruby which glistened in the candle light. It was beautiful! I looked up at Fallacy in awe, he looked down at me with a smile. "My gift to you, my love." He whispered. As he took the necklace and fastened it around my neck loosly. "Thank you so much Fallacy..." He nodded before standing up. "Goodnight Encre." He blew out the candles of my room. With a yawn I replied to him. "Goodnight... Fallacy..." The door closed and I closed my eyes... Soon I was fast asleep feeling safe... and loved...
