It was midnight I was wide awake because Ozpin is giving both Ruby and my special initiation tonight. I walked over to where Ruby is at. She was currently tossing and turning in her sleeping bag. 

Y/n: Ruby.

Ruby: What is it Y/n?

She sat up wiping her eyes.

Y/n: Our initiation starts soon.

Her eyes went wide and was about to yell before I put my hand over her mouth. 

Y/n: We have a special initiation slash mission from Ozpin.

I felt hand my had gotten wet which caused me to remove it from her mouth.

Y/n: Did you just like my hand?

Ruby: Maybe... (quiet giggling)

We started to leave the ballroom and was outside heading to Ozpin's office.

Ruby: So what is this mission?

Y/n: Ozpin hasn't told me yet, but all he said it was related to vampires. So you ok with killing.

Ruby: No I am not okay with killing! You of all people should know that!

Y/n: It is the only thing to do to deal with against rogue vampires. Prison can't hold them and they will kill others as they escape if we do lock them up.

Ruby: There has to be another way.

Y/n: I'm sorry but that's what is needed for this mission.

Ruby: What happened to the guy who would never resort to killing even if it is the only possible answer?

We got in the elevator to Ozpin's office and hit the button for it.

Y/n: My dad happened to him.

Ruby: Huh.

Y/n: My first kill was because of him. We had a traitorous vampire in the coven he was killing people in the mansion before he went after my dad. I heard the struggle grabbed my weapons and sliced his head off before he could kill dad. I didn't want to do it but he was a vampire, he didn't have a aura like us, and I didn't want to lose my dad. So I killed him.

Ruby: I didn't know Y/n I'm sorry.

The elevator doors open and we walk into the office to see a sight I never expect. Ozpin without a coffee mug.

Ozpin: Nice night isn't it Mr. L/n, Ms. Rose.

Y/n: It is. So what's this mission you want us on?

He pulled up a holographic video of people walking through a line of other people.

Ruby: What is it?

Y/n: Notice the men that aren't moving. They are fledgling vampires or a beginning vampire. You can tell or I can at least that they are slightly paler then the people walking between them.

Ozpin: A huntsman recorded this while he was in the middle of another mission and didn't intervene. He merely thought it was a protective service for villagers to change their settlement location.

Ruby: So what do vampires want with a group of people in the night?

Y/n: Easy they are blood cattle or new recruits. My dad has blood cattle as well mostly being bandits and some being people that are so depressed they were about to commit suicide lucky or unluckily stopped by one of our scouts for new cattle or recruits for the coven.

Ruby: That's horrible. We need to save those people. Also your dad should release those people.

Y/n: Would you rather him have his members steal from a blood bank? Where is this located anyway Ozpin so we can get going?

A holographic map appeared with a red dot over an area known as Sapphire Grove.

Ozpin: It is a village in the Sapphire Grove. Now I believe you two should get going.

Y/n: We're on it Oz.

I turn around and head back to the elevator.

Y/n: Come on my fluffy rose.

Ruby: Coming n/n.

I get into the elevator.

Y/n: That old name really.

Ruby: What? I like it.

Timeskip

It was a three hour flight but we landed about ten miles from the village.

Ruby: So how are getting there? Oh can we turn into bats like in the movies!?

Y/n: (Chuckling) That's what I thought I could do at first but no we can't.

Ruby: Ahh. So how are we getting there?

Y/n: Well vampires do have enhanced speed, and your semblance is speed. So maybe we try combining the two.

Ruby: Ok grab my hand.

I did and we start to run. Apparently I was much faster then her, it was to the point I was dragging her. Most likely because I haven't taught her how to use her vampiric abilities yet. It was a short run about two minutes to get to the outskirts of village. I let go of Ruby and she practically fell. 

Ruby: Y/n when we finish and get back to Beacon you are teaching me how to use and control my vampiric abilities. 

Y/n: Alright Rosebud.

I get my pistols ready as we start heading into the village. As does Ruby with Crescent Rose.

Y/n: Remember shoot to kill.

Ruby: I don't think I can Y/n.

Y/n: I know which is why I don't mind if you go for a cripple shot. But-

I toss a dagger to her.

Y/n: -use that in case they get on you and I can't help. And go for the kill they will still try to kill you if you only injury them when they are on you.

Ruby: Ok.

We were nearing the town hall of the village from the sight of it there's at least five vampires guarding it.

Y/n: Ok I see five out front. There's probably more inside. I want you to hit the farthest two in the legs and I'll rush the closest three and go for the kill.

Ruby nods. I start making my way towards the group as sniper shots hit the farthest two and crimson blood splattered the ground. I reach firing distance and start firing and killed one and the other two closed the distance but not without me hurting one of them with a few bullets. I turned my pistols into their sword form and sliced at the uninjured vampire while the other guy ignored me and went towards Ruby.

Ruby's Pov

I saw one guy run past Y/n and went for me. I tried hit him with some sniper rounds but he just dodged each shot. He jumped and I tried to hit him with my scythe but he closed the distance and tackled me to the ground.

Y/n's Pov

I finished off the vampire and slice his head off and looked back to Ruby to see the other vampires body go limp on top of her. I run to her as she pushes him off her. I saw the dagger go through the side of his head. I looked to Ruby to see a look in her eyes, a guilty but relaxed look.

Ruby: I-I killed him.

I grab her and hug her tight. I started to stroke her ears to try and calm her down.

Y/n: There was nothing else you could've done. It was a kill or be killed situation. If anything it was self defense. Besides I told you, you were gonna have kill someone eventually.

Ruby: I didn't think it would be this soon.

Y/n: I know. It's ok rubes.

I let go of her.

Y/n: Now come on we have a mission to complete.

Ruby: R-Right.

We walk into the town hall and see the villagers there but they seem pale. I walk over to check on them and I noticed they have bite marks on every single one of them. I checked one of their teeth and they had fangs. I check another more fangs.

Y/n: Ruby they're all vampires.

Ruby: What do we do?

Y/n: We burn them all.

Ruby: Wouldn't they wake up.

Y/n: Not if we block all the exits and burn the building.

I head out of the town hall followed by Ruby and go in one of the other buildings I pick up a cupboard and brought it out and put it against the door. I repeat the process of finding a heavy object and put it at one of the exits at the town hall till there was a decent pile at each one.

Y/n: Ok done. Ruby you have incindary rounds.

Ruby: Yes where do you want it to hit?

Y/n: Fire one at both sides.

She does so and the building slowly catches fire. Soon the entire building was engulfed in flames and screams came from it.

Y/n: We should head back and report what we found to Ozpin.

Ruby: Why exactly did we have to kill everyone?

Y/n: They were controlled most likely. The one who bit them must have left but it looks like whoever they were, wanted an army.

Ruby: What do you mean controlled? You turned me into a vampire and you haven't controlled me.

Y/n: That's because I'm not a coven leader. A coven leader can control their recent additions for the first hundred years. It makes managing a coven quite easy but they need the resources to feed the new recruits. Now we need to go a coven leader is quite strong and we can't exactly beat one.

Timeskip

We are back at Beacon in our new dorm which is connected to a normal dorm. The other students are currently getting up and getting ready for there initiation.

Ruby: Y/n why is there a coffin in our room?

I already noticed the coffin. It was also a couples coffin. Basically if both lovers die they can be put in a special coffin shaped like a heart.

Y/n: Well last night and the night before you had trouble sleeping right.

Ruby: Yeeess. What about it?

Y/n: Well vampires sleep better in coffins.

Ruby: Ohhh so weres yours?

Y/n: Ozpin got us a couples coffin.

Ruby went a little red when I mentioned couples.

Ruby: A what coffin?

Y/n: Ozpin got us a coffin ment for two.

Ruby: Whyyyy?

Y/n: I think he wanted to help out.

I head over to the coffin and open it and got in.

Y/n: You joining me in here.

Ruby: Y-yeah Y/n.

Ruby got in next to me and we slowly drifted off to sleep.

Timeskip Yang's Pov

Me, Blake, and Weiss are heading to our dorm. Ozpin told us our leaders are already in our dorm. I hope Ruby is ok. We get to out dorm and I knock on the door. No answer.

Blake: Maybe whoever our leaders are they're sleeping.

Yang: Yeah if they had to go through what we did today. They probably be exhausted as well.

We enter the dorm and see three beds, desks, bookshelves, and two doors. One I'm guessing is for the bathroom but what does the other lead to.

Weiss: Where's our leaders and the fourth bed?

Blake: Maybe they are sleeping in the other room.

We head over to right door and open it to reveal... the bathroom. We close the door and open the other door to reveal a heart shaped coffin.

Weiss: Why do we have a couples coffin in our dorm?!

All of a sudden the lid opened and two people came out. Ruby and Y/n?

Y/n: Can you keep it down we're trying to sleep.

Ruby: Yeah we're tired.

With that being said they laid back down and closed the lid.

Blake: Are we gonna ask why their sleeping in a coffin?

Bacca: Well this took longer then expected for me to write.

Ruby: But everyone wanted a infinite Rose chapter.

Bacca: I know they wanted a new chapter for that book but I'm currently having trouble with ideas for it. I'll try to work on it now.

Ruby: Yay more infinite Rose.

Bacca: Ruby here's some cookies. And don't rush me on chapters. Some chapters I somewhat rush because I have hundreds of ideas for it.

Ruby: (Mumbling because of cookies) But ish chour mush popular book.
