The Vacker Legacy - Part 1

Here we are. First, read the KOTLC series (at least to Flashback) or this book will A) Make no sense and B) Spoil things. Ok. So, this is based off of a theory I have that Orem started the Neverseen, since he gave them DNA, and it would truly be a Vacker Legacy. So here's the story:

The Vacker Legacy

A KOTLC Fan-Fic

Orem Vacker was outraged. He stood in Eternalia in front of the Councillor's Castles. Bronte was speaking about how because the lesson where Fintan had tried to teach 5 other prokinetics how to call down everblaze had gone wrong and killed all but Fintan, they were banning the ability. It was absurd you cannot just outlaw someone from using an ability. It was part of their genetic makeup. It was impossible to ignore. Especially since this was an Elemental ability. Fintan spoke up. "For the record," he said, "I completely agree with the council's decision to ban Pyrokinesis, and willingly step down to allow someone else to take my place." Orem supposed that made it better, but it still wasn't the best solution. "Simply ban Everblaze" Orem called. The council ignored him. They went on talking about how prokinetics would be effectively Talenless from now on, and other things like that. Orem got so outraged that he simply raised his crystal to the light and leaped away.

Orem sat inside of his estate, thinking about ways to counter the council's decision. He could think of nothing. And then, he remembered someone who held great prestige with the council and might be able to help. He leaped to Mistmead and pounded on his uncle's door. "Fallon!" he called. "FALLON! I KNOW YOU ARE THERE!" An elf with long blond hair, midnight blue eyes, and sharp features opened the door and stood there, staring at his nephew. "What?" Fallon Vacker asked. "What is so important that you had to leap to my property and bang on my door and disrupt my rest?" "The council's decision to ban pyrokinesis. I need you to fight it!" Orem said. "Why?" the older elf replied. It was the fact that your father died that made the council decide to ban the ability." Orem knew and did not care. "It was a rash decision on my mom's part. She was overcome with grief. But that's why I want you to fight it. I know my dad, and he would never want this to happen. Please fight the council." he begged. "No," Fallon said simply, "For once I agree with your mother. I will not fight the council on this decision. Now please get off of my property." With that, he closed the door in Orem's face.

Orem leaped home feeling defeated. If Fallon wouldn't fight the decision no one would. Or at least nobody the council would listen to. Then he realized, if nobody else would, then he would. He could start a group. A group that fought the council on decisions like this. Orem knew from experience that sometimes the right thing means doing the wrong thing. This is what this group would be. An unseen group, looking to overthrow the Council and bring peace to the Lost Cities once and for all. The Neverseen. This, Orem knew, would be the Vacker Legacy.
