Arcadia's Past.

Arcadia's POV

I couldn't help but grin as I stared at the monster I had just risen. Standing at twelve feet was the mighty Regigigas. I had finally done it, and using the technology from a scientist named Colress, I had him under my control.

How I did it was simple, normally it would take the three Pokemon Regigigas created to awaken him, but there are accounts of Regigigas awakening when his slumber is disturbed. So all we had to do was blow up the temple and it arose from the ruble in prime condition.

"Alright, the boat should be here soon! You're climbing aboard it and then we begin our campaign to destroy all Pokemon!" I laughed, the giant lumbered forward towards the docks where a giant cargo ship that my men had captured was pulling in.

I couldn't help but think about those three Pokemon that had invaded me, and how I had sent one of my old Pokemon to destroy them. If the damned bug succeeded then I'd make it's death quick when it returned.

My mind drifted off to the day when I vowed to destroy all Pokemon, my dream was finally coming true. That day, almost thirty years ago.

FLASHBACK

I was weaving between loads of cargo and men transporting things from the docks on my way home. I was a young boy, although I looked piratically the same thing except I was wearing a blue tee shirt, black shorts, and white shoes that were scuffed up and dirty.

I lived in the Fight Area outside the Battle Frontier. There were only two houses, a Poke Mart, and a Pokemon Center. My father lived so close because it was his goal to defeat the Battle Frontier and become a Frontier Brain. He had given me two Pokemon for my tenth birthday, a Shelmet named Shin-Obi and a Karablast named Militem.

I ran into my house where my father was waiting impatiently. "Arcadia! You're late!" He growled and I looked down.

"I know dad, but I was playing with my Pokemon. I'm really sorry!" He held a glare for a few more seconds before his expression softened and he sighed.

"You need to learn to keep track of time better. Now come on, we're going to Battle Frontier." He told me and walked out of the house, I followed him and we began to make our way to the entrance of the Battle Frontier, suddenly we heard a bunch of noise and people screaming about a runaway Pokemon.

"What's going on?" My father wondered, "Let's just get back inside." He ushered me back towards out house but an Aipom leaped over a cargo container and slammed into my father, knocking him back.

"DAD!"I screamed, I took out my Pokeballs and was about to send out Shi-Obi and Militem, but my father yelled at me.

"Son, stay away!" My father ordered, the Aipom shocked him with a thunderbolt, he reached for one of his Pokeballs but it's tail hand crushed the Pokeball under its fist. I could tell my father was struggling to remain conscious. I had to do something, the Aipom raised it's tail fist and it began to glow white. I recognized the attack as focus punch, my father struggled to break its focus but the thunderbolt had done a number on him.

"No! Leave my dad alone!" I cried, tears filling my eyes. I ran forward but I was too late, the fist crashed into my father's skull. He slumped back and his eyes rolled back into his head. The Aipom's claws began to glow ghostly purple and it dug its claws into his throat, the Pokemon turned to me. It's eyes were wild and bloodthirsty, it's grin was maniacal and foam was coming from its mouth. The Aipom was about to make me its next victim, but a Swampert rushed in front of me slammed with a hammer arm.

Everything else that happened was a blur, the sailors subdued the Aipom and took it away, all I saw was my father's dead body. I turned and ran north, out of the Fight Area and into Route 225. I was crying as I ran, I took my Pokeballs from my belt and threw them as far as I could, they landed near the one house on the route. I then ran through the route, running from Pokemon.

FLASHBACK END

I grit my teeth thinking about that horrid memory. I hoped they killed that Aipom. But it wouldn't matter if they did or didn't, I was going to make sure they all perished. The boat had arrived and they lowered the gangplank, which I was sure wouldn't support the Goliath's weight. But by some miracle it did, and then I boarded the ship. We were off, leaving Snowpoint. I approached one of the men that worked for me.

"What did you do with the invader?" I asked him.

"The Zoroark is undergoing torture for attempting to rob us, although I doubt he'll work with you. He has a strong will." The man replied, and I grinned.

"Good, torture him and then release him. He'll get to perish like the rest of them. He doesn't deserve special treatment." I told him, and he nodded running off to convey those orders to the others.

"Soon. All of you will fall." I vowed, and laughed manically.

Kut's POV

"We must hurry or we will not make it!" I coached, Red was falling behind since he had been exhausted. I knew he could make it if he just went a bit faster.

"I know that!" He responded, we raced past the lake, the two we had battled before were gone. However I couldn't focus on that, we had to stop that monster, and the Regigigas.

Soon we arrived at the town, but we saw the giant ship leaving. "Arcues dammit!" I shouted, dropping my sheath in the snow. It landed with a crunch. The snow was calmer here, more like a flurry. The calm before the storm.

"We'll never make it now! If only we had Jack!" Red groaned.

"Aye mates, it's CAPTAIN Jack!" A familiar voice corrected and the Black Rodger came into view, there was a hole in the hull and I was sure a few water types were missing but other than that they looked great.

"Sorry we left ya. The enemy retreated and we had to follow them. They slipped out grip and then I remembered you three and set a course back to this place. Hey, where be the lass?" Jack asked and I looked down.

"She was killed by Arcadia and his Pokemon." I told him and he frowned.

"Aye, sorry to hear that mate. But there be no time to mourn! We have a ship to catch!" Jack reminded us and his crew roared in response, the gangplank lowered and we floated aboard the boat. Then it turned to port and we followed after ship, which was distant in the horizon.

"We'll never make it." Red mumbled.

"Aye, no need to be worryin. I got a plan that'll catch us up to them in seconds!" Jack assured us, then he flew over the end of the ship down to the water types.

"Alright mates, we be needin a push." Jack whispered, I barely caught it and sheathed myself, freeing my hand to grab onto the mast, Red looked at me curiously.

"Kut, what are you do-" Before Red could finish his question the ship lurched forwards and flung him back into the stairs leading to quarterdeck. Jack scrambled to catch up and get onto quarterdeck. The enemy ship was getting closer and closer.

"Man yer battle stations! We be goin for our biggest target yet!" Jack screamed, the Chatot flew down below-deck to relay the message to the crew members down there. After the first push there wasn't much of a need to hold onto something, however I remained sheathed and Red looked like he was going to be sick.

"This is it Red, we're going to end this one way or another." I said and he nodded in agreement.

"No matter what happens, let's give them a show." With that our ship went next to the cargo ship, and all distortion broke loose.
