Arcadia.
Red's POV.
We stared down our enemy, he hadn't noticed us yet which was quite the good thing.
Arcadia had short brown hair and brown eyes, he was a tall man dressed in a white lab coat. In his right hand was a book that he was reading from, occasionally glancing up at the statue towering over him.
"Hey you! Stop what you are doing right now!" Kut shouted and he moved forward, I face-palmed. Arcadia turned his attention to us with a puzzled look before removing a gun from his belt.
"Well well, looks like there's three Pokémon that are lost... wait a moment!" He stared at me, I was worried I would melt.
"Well well, a Rotom. Probably Rowan's, whatever the case you'll all die now." He pointed the gun at me, I was about to move but then I stopped.
"Guys hold on, just stand still." I advised them, Arcadia pulled the trigger and the bullet raced forward. However, it went right through me.
"Oh the benefits of being a ghost." I smirked and he growled.
"Fine, I have a ghost type of my own!" Arcadia took out a dusk ball and sent out a Dusclops.
"What do we have here? Three new souls to consume." The Dusclops cackled.
"Red, me and Belle will take the Dusclops. You defeat the scientist." Kut told me and before I could protest him and his girlfriend were already charging into battle.
I sighed and turned my attention to Arcadia, who was already looking at that book again.
"Hey Arcadia! What the heck do you think you're doing?" I asked angrily, and I made my way over to him.
"I don't have to tell you little pest, now go die with your friends!" He motioned to Kut and Belle who were doing quite well against the Dusclops.
"Damned swords!" He growled and then without warning picked up a rock and charged at me. I scrambled to get away from him and fired a shadow ball, which ended up completely missing.
I continued to run for my life as he chased me, all I could do was pray that Kut and Belle would be done with the Dusclops soon.
Kut's POV
Quickly we rushed forward both glowing purple, the Dusclops managed to stop Belle with a shadow punch but I landed my shadow claw.
"I'm going to destroy both of you!" He roared and his fists began to freeze over. I grabbed my sheath to block the ice punch on my end but Belle wasn't quick enough and was hit.
"Belle!" I cried out, and slammed my sheath into his head, stunning him for a moment. I raced over to her and she got up.
"I'm alright, it didn't hurt that much Kut." She assured me before I felt a fist slam into me from behind.
I flew backwards but quickly steadied myself and turned to face my attacker, who was now staring down Belle. I also noticed Red being chased around by the crazy man, but I pushed that thought away and focused on Belle.
Quickly I sunk into the shadows and swiftly made my way behind the Dusclops, I exited the shadows and swiped at him from behind, knocking him back, Belle then jammed herself right into his chest.
"Nice job Belle, I think that's all we'll be see o-" I was cut off by the Dusclops roaring in defiance and shadow punching me in the eye. I clattered to the ground and my vision became hazy, dark spots danced in my vision but I tried to stay conscious.
I saw the Dusclops launch a shadow ball at Belle and slam into her, she flew back into the Regigigas and I knew I had to get up. I slowly attempted to regain my composer but pain seared through me.
"I'm... coming Belle." I gasped, and with the last of my strength I dashed forward, using shadow claw, when a shadow ball knocked me into the wall and unconscious. But it hadn't come from the Dusclops.
When I came to it was from Belle's scream, I shot up. Everything still hurt but I didn't have time to worry about that. I turned my attention to Belle, who was being repeatedly attacked by the Dusclops. Before I could move to stop it, the ghost type hit her with one final shadow ball. She flew back into a wall and collapsed.
Despite the dark spots in my eyes and the pain I went over to her, but it was too late. She was gone. I turned to the Dusclops seething with rage, however I felt someone grab me by the hilt. I didn't have enough strength to struggle and found myself being dragged out of the temple against my will.
"No! Belle! She's gone, and the killer is still down there! I must avenge her!" I protested angrily as I was dragged through Snowpoint, everything had gone quiet. There was no gunshots. No Pokémon. No anything.
I couldn't keep going much further, and finally I collapsed unconscious for a second time in just a little while.
Shin-Obi's POV
I dashed into Snowpoint city, taking no time to look at the dead humans and Pokémon. I turned my attention to where I was sure I would find Arcadia, the temple. Quickly I raced to it and through the floors until I reached the bottom floor. Where I saw him.
"Arcadia! It is me Shin-Obi! I found you at long last!" I called to him and he turned in shock, his eyes were wide and his mouth was agape.
"Y-you're alive?" He asked and I nodded happily, he reached for a pokeball but stopped. "What do you know about me?" I found the question odd but answered anyway.
"You're my trainer Arcadia, we were separated when you were young but I've finally located you!" I answered, and he grinned.
"How would you like to join me again? Help me out on a project I'm working on to stop some evil Pokémon?" He asked me, and I nodded instantly, he took out a pokeball and threw it at me. I gladly let myself be captured.
Almost as quickly as I was in I was out, and he was looking at me with the strange grin from before.
"Alright, I need you to kill two evil Pokémon. A shiny Rotom and a Honedge." Arcadia told me, and I saluted him. Then I dashed towards the stairs to complete his orders.
