Red's POV

"Fire the canons!" Jack ordered, and cannonballs shot from belowdeck, slamming into the hull of the cargo ship. 

"Alright sword, I be needin you to go over there and make us an openin in the side." Jack said and Kut nodded, he unsheathed himself and began to glow blue. He drove himself into the side of the ship, breaking through the hull and leaving a decently large opening.

"Now it's yer turn, and make sure me crew comes back alive." Jack told me and as if on cue two Barbracle and a Poliwhirl ran up to us.

"Wait you're not coming with us?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"A captain must go down with his ship, and there's a chance the Black Rodger will be going down."He cawed, the ship veered closer to the entrance and I floated in, followed by the three water types. We made it in just before Arcadia's goons ran to the side and began battling the Pokemon.

"Red, look at these!" Kut called me over, he was looking at various appliances.

"I see what you're getting at. Time for a boost in power!" I smiled and dove headfirst into a washing machine. For a moment everything was black, but then I was able to see again. In my one hand was a hose-like pipe that could blast water. The washing machine had turned red and adapted a bronze outline, similar to how I looked normally.

"Argh! aim for the gun men!" Jack's voice cried from outside and we made our way to the top deck.

The deck was about the size of a football field and for the most part, was empty. However there were multiple men dress in lab coats shooting at the Black Rodger. I assumed that was all of Arcadia's goons. My eyes drifted over to the twelve foot tall giant and Arcadia who were just watching the battle, a few men were hit back from water moves but it was clear they had the upper hand.

"Arch, our crew be needin help!" The one barbracle roared and him and his two water friends charged at the men, taking them by surprising and taking down a few of them.

"We have to hope they can handle those men, we have to defeat Arcadia and his Regigigas." Kut reminded me and I nodded in agreement. We floated over to where they were standing and I charged a hydro pump, water shot from the hose pump in my hand at such a sigh pressure I lost control and it whipped around like crazy, spraying water everywhere. Some of it hit Regigigas which got its attention but most of it just went into the sky.

"So the two Pokemon have returned. You two don't deserve to die at the hands of Regigigas, how about a familiar face?" Arcadia suggested, a smug grin on his face. He took a Pokeball from his belt and sent out the Dusclops that I loathed.

"You!" Kut roared, leveling his blade end and pointing it at Dusclops.

"Ohohoho, the two who got away. Looks like my chance to destroy you is not yet over." He cackled, I shut him up by firing a shadow ball that narrowly missed him. Although I was trying to hit him.

"I will avenge Belle!" Kut vowed and he rushed forward, glowing ghostly purple. The Dusclops made a fist and it crackled with electricity, he punched at Kut but was too slow and impaled by the sword.

I noticed Arcadia was still smiling and figured it would be a good time to wipe that smug grin off his face, I blasted a thunder at him, which shot into the sky. 

"You think you have a chance at defeating me? Dusclops isn't my only Pokemon." Arcadia laughed maniacally. he produced a Pokemon that was green with black spots and had an orange center line. He threw it in the air and in a flash of light a Cofagrigus appeared. 

"Th-that doesn't matter! I'll beat him and you!" My confidence wavered but I sent out a volley of Will-o-wisps. By some miracle they surrounded and engulfed the coffin Pokemon in flames, but his sickening grin didn't change. The flames vanished momentarily and he sprung into action, muttering something under his breath. Suddenly I afflicted with a great pain.

Hex... I thought painfully, and then he moved forward and side chopped me right in the chest, flew back and clattered onto the the ground, the washing machine becoming banged up and dented. I tried to resist drifting into unconsciousness, but the last thing I saw was my burn taking affect on him.

In my dream the horrid memory of my brother dying played over and over, however it suddenly became worse. Instead of a cave it was the Snowpoint temple, and it was just me, my brother, and Arcadia. Suddenly Arcadia pulled out a Pokeball and instead of it hitting me I pulled Rotom in the way and let him get caught. He was Arcadia's Pokemon. And it was because I was selfish. 

It felt so real, I was paralyzed with shock at my own actions when I snapped awake.I was outside of the washing machine which had seemingly vanished and Kut was calling for help, the ghosts had pinned him down. I raced over to him as fast as I could but the whole time I couldn't help but think, would I actually let him get caught over me?

Kut's POV

To sum up the battle I had with Dusclops, I would say it was mostly back and fourth fighting. After I impaled him I quickly retreated so he couldn't conjure up a quick counter. Then I jabbed at him and he punched at me, we both successfully landed attacks until a Cofagrigus came in and hexed me, after that I was overwhelmed by the two Pokemon's combined power.

"RED!" I screamed when I was pinned down under Dusclopses foot.

"He's under the affect if my nightmare, nothing will wake him u-" The Cofagrigus began to say, but he was cut off by a shadow ball smashing into him from the side, I looked over to see that Red had been the one to attack and he was now rushing over.

Quickly I wrapped my cloth hand around the foot that wasn't on top of my and pulled it out from under me. Using his falling momentum I swiftly began to glow purple and impaled him again, this time just a bit over from where I had last pimpled him. However I could tell this one was much worse for him. 

Then I remembered an old legend about Dusclops, that says if you ever peered inside of him he'd still your soul. I quickly realized that I was going to go right through him and began to panic.

I sunk into the shadows at the last second and left him to fall on the floor with a brand new wound. When I emerged, Red was shocking the Cofagrigus with a thunder attack. I picked up my sheath, which had been discarded before the battle and threw it at Cofagrigus, it smacked into his head and then I drove my blade end into his chest for good measure.

"He's not getting up, ever." I said, Red looked at me in awe.

"Nice job, now let's go finish Arcadia." But then I remembered Jack Spearow and his crew, I turned to the edge of the deck to see that all the men and the three water types that had gotten on board with us were gone, I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad thing.

"You fools really think you can stop me? Then come and die at the hands of Regigigas!" Arcadia boomed, and the giant Pokemon stepped forward slowly. "You will be the first to fall! And then the rest of your filthy Pokemon brethren! With a legendary at my disposal, I am unstoppable!" 

"ARCADIA!" A familiar voice boomed, and Shin-Obi and Militem charged out from belowdeck.

"You-you're both alive? It doesn't matter, you will all die!" He laughed evilly and I realized Regigigas was slowly getting closer.

"Why are you two here?" Red asked.

"Well originally we were following you to kill you, then we heard what Arcadia was saying and now we know for sure that you were telling the truth." Militem explained.

"Well then, shall we defeat the legendary Pokemon?" I suggested, and everyone nodded in agreement, I began to glow blue and then rushed forward, impaling the giant on his left side, right next to the green orb thing on his face. Then I retreated and watched the real battle commence.

Shin-Obi fired a glowing beam at Regigigas and knocked it back, then Red blasted a thunder at Regigigas. The beast didn't seem too bothered by the attacks, Militem charged forward and stabbed at him repeatedly. But Regigigas just kicked him aside.

"We don't seem to be doing anything, we have to hit him harder!" I ordered, Red pondered what I said for a moment and shook his head.

"We can't win with brute force, soon his slow start will wear off and he'll be unstoppable. We have to push him over the edge of the boat, turn his weight against him." Red suggested, I figured it was the best plan we could come up with.

"Alright then, let's just focus on pushing him back then. Which means less stabbing." Shin-Obi told me and he jumped forward, blasting  Regigigas with a bright golden beam, it stumbled back a few steps but Shin-Obi fell to the ground and didn't move.

"Don't worry about him, he just used hyper beam!" Militem assured us and raced forward, he was enveloped in a bright white glow and smashed into Regigigas, it stumbled back and fell over. The beast hit the ground so hard I was sure the steel floor would break.

Militem had been launched backwards after he collided with Regigigas and landed next to Shin-Obi, he also wasn't moving.

"Now we have to wait for him to get up." Red sighed.

"We are still making progress." I reminded him.

"If you fools think you'll be able to defeat Regigigas just you wait, his slow start should wear off right about... now!" Arcadia cackled and Regigigas got up so fast I thought I had to do a double take. The giant Pokemon ran forward closing the distance we had put between us and him in seconds.

"Red what do we-" I noticed Red's face was pale and his mouth was wide open in shock, I dragged him out of Regigigases path of destruction. We watched it try to slow down and change directions, almost falling over. That was when I realized what I had to do.

"Red, stay back." I told him firmly, I dropped my sheath to the ground and closed my eye, focusing on all the things that had haunter my thoughts. The frustration of my father dying and me being unable to do anything, Belle being killed because I couldn't ask for help, almost losing my last friend Red. All of it was not what I had to focus on, I couldn't focus on it anymore. The only thing that mattered was the present, and the present was the only thing I could change. So I would change it.

My eye snapped open and my blade began to glow, and then a blue frame of my blade began to extend from me until I was immersed in a giant blue transparent blade. The blade followed my movements, and I leveled my blade end, pointing it at Regigigas, who had paused to see what was next. Against Arcadia's protests.

I moved fast everything before coming into contact with Regigigas was like a dream you tried to remember but could only remember a few key details. I drove the blade right through Regigigas and continued forward, taking us both over the edge of the ship. We crashed down into the water, I pulled myself free of Regigigas and attempted to make a break for the surface, but its hand closed around me, trapping me. I didn't try to struggle since I didn't have the strength, this was my fate. To go down saving the world.

Red's POV

I was unfrozen the moment Red impaled Regigigas and went over the edge, I rushed over to the edge but was stopped in my tracks by Arcadia, who ran forward and punched me right in the face. What was worse was that Jack was missing and Shin-Obi and Militem were still recharging.

"You killed Belle, you killed Tet, and now you killed Kut! When will it be enough Arcadia? When will you be satisfied with the death you've caused!?" I demanded.

"When all Pokemon perish, Regigigas might have ended up failing me, but there are other powerful Pokemon to take control of. To manipulate. To enslave! Since that's what you creatures deserve! You monsters killed my father, yet trainers still treat you like equals! You don't deserve that! One day the whole world will see how dangerous you monsters are!" Arcadia screamed, punching at me, this time I managed to evade it.

"Think about how you felt when your father died, that's how you make Pokemon feel when you kill their friends, their family! We deserve to be treated as equals because we are equals, not all Pokemon are good and peaceful, but most are! And you're killing the good ones! Even if you were killing the bad ones just for killing them, that's not OK! We need bad just as much as we need good! All life is precious!" 

"No! Pokemon don't deserve lives or to be treated as anything more than that they don't belong! You're an artificial Pokemon, you aren't even supposed to be alive! If Rowan had given me the data, Rotom models would be far stronger! And they wouldn't have this sense of independence or feeling they should get involved. They'd be servants and stand on the sidelines when told to!!"

"Sense of independence?! Arcadia, I am not a hero, I am not good at anything, heck I'm a complete screw up. But there's one thing I'm not, and that's a bystander, an emotionless robot who just does whatever people say. Rowan created me and my brother, I can feel things, I know that for sure because right now all I feel is hatred for you! Rowan created a beautiful thing, life. Which is something you ruin! You ruined Control! You ruined Kut! You ruined everyone! You know who doesn't deserve life? You. And by Arceuses name I will end your terror, no more lives shall be lost at your hands Arcadia!" I roared, I felt like I had more power in me than ever before. Maybe it was adrenaline, maybe it was love, maybe it was rage, or maybe Arceus had bestowed me power. Whatever the case I knew I could end it.

I felt and electric beacon erupt from me, a wave of electricity washed over the area, knocking Arcadia back. I put all of the electric energy into a giant blast and fired it at Arcadia, the bolt struck him and caused a giant electric explosion, knocking me back and sending me into a wall, where I fell unconscious.
