It has been a few days since the party and Reinhardt watched as Rex and Lumine got closer. The young man looked comfortable, not the tired visage he always carried with him, but a look of relaxation as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Hmm?" Elysia let out as she looked at him, dressed in one of the oversized pink shirts she got him. Reinhardt said nothing as he looked at his girlfriend. Yes, his girlfriend. He finally got the courage to confess to her last night after sorting his thoughts. 

"Nothing, just can't believe you're my girlfriend," Reinhardt said as he set his cup of coffee on the coffee table in his study. He had been so busy with work and caring for his sibling that he did not think he would have a love life, coupled with hundreds, if not thousands, of rejections. 

"Why? Not much will change, I mean... we were already acting like a couple before," Elysia said with a smile. "Well, I might be more territorial from now on," Elysia admitted as she looked at him with a grin. 

"Like you aren't?" Ren teased, remembering an event involving a certain scientist that made Rex's prosthetics, a good friend, but lacking in many social interactions. It was a miracle he made it out alive... well, he was princess-carried by a smiling Elysia, in contrast to the damage she caused. 

"Hmph," A pout appeared on his girlfriend's face. 

"What's wrong you big baby?" Reinhardt teased as he watched Elysia give him a playful glare. Elysia glared at him more before laughing, glad to have her best friend and boyfriend back. Back to when he was so carefree, like this. 

Standing up, Elysia went over to him and sat on his lap as she wrapped his arm around her. 

"Rein, we have an order and..." Rex opened the door while holding a clipboard and saw Elysia, dressed only in an oversized pink shirt and the carefree and a bit dumb look on his brother's face. "Finally... shit... I owe Lumine dinner," Rex closed the door and left, making Reinhardt shake his head. 

"You know, I think if things go smoothly, Lumine will have Rex around her fingers," Elysia whispered to her boyfriend who just chuckled. 

"Like you?" Reinhardt asked as she looked at him with a nod. 

"Good boy," Elysia said as she kissed his jaw tenderly and lovingly.

Rin was a good and happy girl. Dressed in casual clothes, she carried her bag with her as she, her sister Sakura, and Sakura's girlfriend arrived in front of the Crozzo manor. They saw Rex, the youngest of the Crozzo three sparring with Aether using swords. 

She use to have a crush on Reinhardt but grew out of it and instead saw him as a true older brother just as she sees Reve and Rex. She would have loved to be related to him but sadly, her sister seemingly hated Rein. Still, she trusted him with her sister so that must mean something, right? 

"Oh, Rin! Welcome back! Hello there Miss Kallen, Miss Sakura," Lumine greeted with a smile as she approached the trio. 

"Big sis Lumi!" Rin called out, hugging the blonde while Sakura and Kallen smiled at their little sister. 

"You look happy," Sakura noted with a smile. 

"Something good happened?" Kallen asked as she looked at Rex.

"Well, Rex is going to take me out to dinner, I won the bet." 

Oh no. Rin froze as she looked at Lumine, remembering the drunken tirades of Kiana wanting to kidnap Rex and make him hers and the slightly jealous and annoyed Mei along with the pouting image of Seele, okay... she should stay away from the manor. 

Wait, a bet. The only bet that involves dinner, Rex, and Lumine is...

Scratch that! She should use the bunker. After all,

"I... I see..." Rin prayed to everything that is holy to keep her safe. 

"Where's the idiot?" Sakura asked, wondering where her sister's trainer was in a soft voice, worry evident in her voice, although it was only recognized by Kallen and Rin. Lumine's eye twitched at her brother's nickname but kept herself. But wait! Rex isn't her husband! ...yet...

"Big Bro Rein is..." 

 Just in time, Reinhardt appeared dressed in casual clothes and a jacket carrying what both Lumine and Rin recognized as his special event wallet. Rin knew what exactly was up since she knew about the bet. 

"Oh, Rin," Reinhardt greeted his apprentice, roughed and calloused hands ruffled her head. "Welcome back." 

"Hi, Rein!" Kallen greeted with a smile, surprised to see her childhood best friend look unburdened. A surprise that doubled when instead of flirting or hitting on her and Sakura, Rein just greeted them normally. 

Sakura noticed this and seeing how nervous Rin was, she was suspicious. What was going on? 

"Oh~?" Elysia said, peeking over Reinhardt's shoulder and smiling at Kallen and Sakura. A smile that seemed smug and proud. 

"Hello, Kallen, Sakura," Elysia said with a hum while the two felt a bit hopeless for some reason. "Hello little RIn," Elyssia said with a smile at the younger pink-haired girl. 

"Hi, Ely," Kallen said with an uneasy smile, feeling nervous as she looked at her distant relative, "You look nice," 

"Really?" Elyisa asked only to get a nod from Sakura. She smiled and twirled before looking at Reinhardt "See, they can say it just fine, why don't you?" Elysia asked with a pout and a teasing voice aimed at the knight, confusing Kallen and Sakura.

 A confusion that turned to shock when he turned away to futilely hide away his reddening face and a shock that increased once more when he replied. 

"You know why..." Reinhardt said while Elysia grinned at him. 

"Sheesh, you can confidently smile and mock danger but when it comes to little old me~," Elysia said teasingly, playfully poking at his chest. "Now, because of that, instead of only half a day, you'll be with me for the entire day, got it~?"

"Yes," the young man replied as he looked at Elysia. 

"Whipped!" Rex and Aether cried out only to be silenced when Lumine threw them a glare, further confusing Kallen and sakura until finally had enough, 

"Where are you two going?" Sakura asked, curious to find out only for Kallen and not for any other reason whatsoever.

"Yeah! You promised we'd hang out today," Kallen said with a pout that hid her jealousy to Reinhardt but not to Lumine, Sakura, and Elysia. 

"Rein and I are going on a date~!" Elysia casually revealed with a smile as she kissed his lips softly while standing on the tip of her toes and hugging his arm afterward. Elysia puffed her chest out in pride and happiness as the entire manor went quiet until Reve poked his head off his window, watching the scene while Rita smiled as she swept the walkway.

'Well, Master Reve owes me,' Rita

'Fuck, goodbye allowance. I never should have better against Lumine,' Rex

'Rein, girlfriend = Awesome = new sister = future nieces and nephews... LET'S GO!!' Reve roared in his mind

"WHAT?!" Kallen asked loudly as she looked at them. When did this happen?! Is that why Reinhardt never flirted with her and Sakura again since last month?

"Yes~ Rein and I are dating. We just became official last night," Elysia said with a smile, happy to finally have the man she loves be hers. 

'I need to compete with Rita for preparing the wedding,' Rex thought and he met the maid's eyes, the challenge was on! 

"R-Rein?" Kallen asked her childhood best friend for confirmation while Sakura was stunned.

"It's true, she grew on me," Reinhardt replied as he looked at Elyia who held her blushing face with a grin. They looked so in love. 

"I'm happy for you," Kallen said with closed eyes and a smile that looked pained. 

"Thank you," How ironic that she would be in the same situation that she herself unknowingly put him in all those years ago. "Sorry, but we have to go." 

"Bye Kallen, Bye Sakura, Bye Rin." Elysia said as the couple walked into the garage to take Reinhardt's bike.
