Rex Gaius, the lord of Geo
A lone dark eye opened. Blurred images entered the young man's mind as REx pushed himself up. What was happening?
"A hospital?" The young man asked, his vision clearing to reveal the clean room belonging to the school-affiliated hospital.
"Why am I?"
Images appeared in his mind, A push and a gun.
Reaching towards his right eye weakly.
"I... my eye..." The young man whispered as he looked around and saw the hollow space in what used to be his right eye. "That... sucks."
Am I supposed to do something?
Oh no, the memories from his past life were gone.
---
It took an hour before he was fully healed. It seemed like he gained a healing factor, but his eye was removed surgically, and he had to wear an eyepatch over his right eye.
"Crozzo?" Came the voice of the white-haired girl named Theresa Apocalypse. She looked like a girl around 12 years old, dressed in a nun's habit. Despite her youthful appearance, she was already in her 40s and the academy's principal he goes to.
"Principal, Instructor Himeko." Rex greeted while he focused on a simple book, one that he found after he woke up, called Codex Carnifex. A bundle covered in bandages that Himeko can tell was a greatsword of some kind.
"How are you?" Theresa asked as she approached the chair towards the boy and sat on it.
"I am fine... as fine as you get after you lost an eye," Rex answered while closing his book, glancing over her direction to look at her with his left eye. For a split second, the dark orb glowed amber filled with millennia of wisdom and experience.
Theresa and Himeko felt uneasy at the air surrounding him; it was serene like the earth, yet a maddening rage was hidden inside those depths.
"I have a proposition for you. You live alone, right?" Theresa asked, remembering the files about Rex. He has lived alone without anyone to call family for more than half a decade. She did not know why but quickly accepted his application once he saw his photo.
"What is it, Principal," Rex asked, looking at them curiously. What proposition?
"You're living with me from now on, brat. I'm your new sister." Himeko said as she looked at him. Dark eyes widened as he looked at Himeko.
The young woman knew what it was like to have a missing parent. After all, her father was only busy with her work but Rex. According to his files, he was an orphan with his parents dying of Honkai corruption almost a decade ago and had a trust fund managed by Schicksal. All the reports she read about him include that he had lost his memories due to a traumatizing effect.
"... why?" Shutting the codes, the young man looked at the red-haired female teacher. "If you only do it because you were ordered to or feel guilty, then forget about it. I can take care of myself."
Both Theresa and Himeko flinched. The educators of the far east branch had received orders from the overseer to take care of the only male admitted to St. Freya, but it seemed like things will be harder to do.
"Look, we're just worried about you. You lost your eye in an incident."
"Yeah, right." Rex cut in as he looked at the cover of his new book. "They have been planning this for a while."
Himeko was shocked and turned to look at Theresa, who looked back at her.
"A while?" Theresa asked curiously as she sat down on the chair beside the bed.
"I heard them while I was baking for home economics... my groupmates ditched me." He said with a shrug.
"But that-"
"I'm used to it." Rex cut Theresa off as he held his book close to his chest as if it was a part of his being. "I work better alone."

Sadly, his speech did not work. He was dragged (kidnapped) by one of his teachers and the principal to Himeko's home.
(this is what he is wearing)
The one-eyed man held his duffel bag and a guitar case that hid his sword. A lone dark orb took the house Instructor Himeko... I mean, big sister Himeko owned. It was nice and. Feeling something, Rex held his guitar case, and his dark eye met with a pair of blue.
A metal tube, water everywhere. A man with golden hair.
"After this, you will be reborn. Today will be your new birthday."
Feeling something, the young man stared at the owner of the blue eyes. A young woman around his age with blue eyes. A familiar presence... like.
A small room.

"Auntie Himeko!" The girl called out with a smile as the red-haired woman approached her with a scowl.
"I'm not old!"
"I did not mean that!" "She did not mean it like that." Both Rex and the girl said it simultaneously, with Rex saying it in a whisper.
As the young man ignored the two white, keeping quiet, he could not help but feel calmer... as if a massive burden has been lifted off his shoulders temporarily. The young man flinched when the girl leaned in with her hands behind her back.
A young girl with light purple hair, looking curiously with her hands behind her back, orange orbs gleaming with curiosity.
"Hey, I'm *****, And you are?" The girl asked, snapping Rex out of his stupor. There was just something about her that was familiar.
"Be friendly with him. This is my little brother, Rex C. Murata." Himeko introduced Rex while the girl hummed. "Rex, this is Kiana. Kiana, this is Rex." Himeko introduced with a smirk,
Acting without any thought, the one-eyed Rex reached in and gently caressed her head, an action that betrayed his emotionless face and eyes. For her part, the girl only flinched before leaning in eagerly as if she had done this for a long time. Realizing what he had done, the young man pulled his hand back.
"Sorry, you just looked lonely," Rex whispered while Kiana blushed.
"hmph! Have no fear! I have Mei-Senpai with me! I am not lonely!" Kiana announced proudly while she puffed her chest out.
"Kiana!" A female voice called out, catching the attention of the young woman.
"Ah! Come on, Auntie Himeko, Crozzo!" Kiana shouted as she ran inside and her eyes widened as, from the corner of her eyes, there was a familiar form in her sight before it disappeared.
---
From a building that overlooked the house, a male in a coat watched the exchange with a smile.
"I hope what you want succeeds." The male said with a smile as he looked to the side to see the translucent form of a man dressed in a white lab coat with dark hair and eyes. He looked like a scientist from the west with the exception of the blue accents on the lab coat and the yin-yang symbol hanging from his chest proudly. Holding the symbol, the young man turned it around and smiled at a symbol carved on its back.
"It will, scion of Kaslanas. A Crozzo should be by a Kaslana's side." The male said as he opened the pendant to reveal it.
"Take care," The young man said as he disappeared.
From far away, a young woman with blue hair paused and held her chest as a feeling of longing assaulted her heart.
