My double period of dance went well we choreographed more to our dance and I feel very pleased with myself. The bell rang and it was time for lunch, I walked through the corridors in the school to reach my locker I put my books back inside then grab my lunch, I walk outside to sit where I had sat at recess waiting for James to show up, but just as I reach the bench that sat under the tree there he sat eating his lunch looking at his phone as he does so.

I walk up to the bench and take a seat, "Hi James" I greet him but he does not reply. I just pull my lunch out from my bag and start to eat. "So how...." I was about to start talking to James when he suddenly stands up from the table and turns his phone off and grabs his lunch and walks off with out sparring a glance at me.

What has gotten into him? Ive done nothing to upset him I'm pretty sure. I sit there with good in my mouth bewildered by James leaving suddenly with out a word, I didn't realise how long I had been sitting there looking at the oak tree that I didn't notice Ridell standing to my left waving in my face.

"Earth to Lindsay, earth to Lindsay?" He says waving his hand

I blink and look towards him "hey sorry Ridell I was a bit distracted" I tell him truthfully

"Yeah I noticed that, everything alright?" He asks gesturing to my food and table.

"I'm not sure. My friend James isn't talking to me and when I say down he got up and walked away." I tell him

"Thats not good. Do you know why he would do that?" He asks as he sits down in front of me

"No I have no idea." I Say looking down at my sandwich.

"I'm sure he will approach you when he's ready. Maybe he's stressed or something is going on but I'm sure he will talk to you when he is ready to" Ridell says smiling at me, I smile back.

"Yeah your probably right Ridell. I'll just have to be patient." I reply.

"Are you kidding of course I'm right" he says jokingly smiling at me "he'll talk to you soon I'm sure of it" he says smiling lightly at me. "I have to go now, I'll see you tomorrow some time" he says getting up from his seat heading back into the halls of the school.

The bell has gone as a sign that it is the end of school, I stand waiting out side James's car, but when I think that he wont show up I suddenly see him walking towards his car he doesn't unlock it till he gets to the drivers side of the car.

I hop into the car with him as he starts the engine. He doesn't look at me and its almost as if he doesn't even know I exist. We've left the school and heading down the street the silence becomes to much for me and I decide to speak up.

"Okay James what's going on?" I ask

Nothing no answer "hello??earth to James?" I wave in his face

"Get your hand out of my face dog" he hisses

"I..I was just trying to get your attention." I stutter what is going on with him?

"You don't have the right to talk to me." He hisses again

"What's going on with you? You were fine this morning then I spent the whole of recess waiting for you but you didn't show but at lunch you just simply ignored me and got up and left. What have I done James please tell me?" I plead as I watch him drive to a stop at the side of the road.

"Get out now please." James says looking straight ahead with no emotion on his face.

"Why?" I ask

"Because I asked nicely" James says with gritted teeth

"Can you answer the question first?" I ask but I suddenly flinch when his hands clench the steering wheel hard.

"Get out of my car please" he says sternly but I just sit there shzpocked not understanding why he's being this way and not answering my question.

"GET OUT OF MY CAR NOW!" James shouts in a menacing tone. I open the car door and race out closing the door quickly behind me, I take a step back from the curb just in time when James speeds off down the road leaving me at the side of the curb with no way to get home except walking. It'll take 30 minutes to get home on foot so I start my journey home.

Its 5:30pm now as I arrive home, I'm covered in swear as I had just jogged home from being left at the side of the road by James, it had taken longer than expected to get home. It turns out the 30mins had turned into an hour.

I reached my front door and unlocked it, I walked up stairs to the bathroom to take a nice warm bath when the phone rang from down stairs. I quickly walked down stairs and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I speak into the phone but there was no answer so I put the phone back onto the charger and go back up stairs to take a bath.
