Nitya gets upset after learning that Kabir is planning another mission. It means another danger is lingering in his life. Being a cop means danger is always looming on his head. Every time he announces that he’s going on a mission, her heartbeat gets vigorous, and she worries about his well-being, knowing that he can take care of himself very nicely. That’s the plight of the wives of police officers. They always keep their hearts in their palms and they live amidst the shadows of fear—the fear of losing their loved ones.

“Nitya, agar tum aise udaas ho jaaogi, toh main kaise jaunga? Tum jaanti ho na, agar tum meri taaqat ho toh tum meri kamzori bhi ho. Aur phir bas kuch dinon ki baat hain.” He tries to explain.

“Kabir, tum hamesha aisa hi kahte ho. Aur aaj kal toh tum har dusre din  kahin na kahin jaate rehte ho. Kabhi toh ghar mein raha karo.” She complaints.

“Nitya, main jaanta hoon, mera koi time bhi nahi rehta hain, par trust me, ek baar ye mission khatm ho jaye, phir main chuttiyan le lunga. Maine application de rakhi hain Sir ko. Aur phir hum vacation pe jaayenge.” He tries to convince her, that it is his actual plan.

“Sach bol rahe ho tum? I doubt you, Kabir. Tum hamesha plans change karte rehte ho.” She glances at him annoyingly, causing him to laugh.

“Iss baar koi plan nahi karunga main. Trust me.” He tries to convince her.

He looks at her sweetly, while, she’s still doubtful of him. Meanwhile, his phone rings, and he steps aside to take the call. He talks over the phone and his lips curl into a smile. It seems like his strategy is ready and he can start working. All this while, Nitya has been watching him, and his demeanour tells that the first step of his plan is successful. Before she can ask him anything, he turns to her and holds her by her shoulders.

“Nitya, pehla step toh pura ho gaya. Ab bas kuch dinon ki baat hain. Iss baar toh mujhe apna mission pura karna hi hain.” He says he’s determined about the same.

“Tumhare chehre ki muskurahat mujhe sab bata rahi hain, Kabir. I know tumhare liye tumhari duty important hain, mujhse bhi zyada, Main tumhe rokungi nahi, lekin iss baar tumhe jaldi aana hoga. Aur bahut saara waqt lekar aana hoga. Promise me.” Nitya gazes at her husband.

“I promise, Nitya. Iss baar main tumhe niraash nahi karunga. Main jaanta hoon, tum mujhse naraaz ho, lekin iss baar main tumhari naraazgi door kar dunga.” He speaks and kisses her head softly.

She hugs him immediately. It happens whenever he has to go on a mission. It’s no exception in the present scenario as well, but she wants to make sure that his journey is smooth and he comes back to her safe and sound.

Kabir is the first one to break the hug and he tucks his wife in bed, and takes his place beside her. She hugs him again, resting her head on his chest. Soonish, they drift into their dreamland.

It’s going to be a big day for the two.

Anamika and Ruhana return home, and Suhana is sound asleep in her mom’s arms. They enter the house and they disperse to their rooms. With the movement, Suhana wakes up and her mother helps her change her clothes and puts her to sleep again. When Ruhana is content that her daughter is asleep, she freshens up and walks out of her room. She finds Anamika waiting for her, she’s shuffling the channels. As Ruhana takes her seat, Anamika keeps the remote aside, putting on a music channel.

“Kya hua? Kya soch rahi ho?” Ruhana asks while sipping her coffee.

“Ruu, I have to leave on Friday,” Anamika says, emphasizing every word.

“I know, and it’s for your good, Ana. Tum udaas kyun ho?” Ruhana asks.

“ Main tum dono ke bina kaise rahungi wahan? Aur agar project span badh gaya toh? Nahi Ruu, ab toh mujhe bhi doubt ho raha hain.” Anamika expresses her concern.

“Tujhe doubt karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hain, Ana. Tu already mere liye aur Suhana ke liye bahut kuch kar chuki hain. Agar tu nahi hoti, toh hum dono bhi nahi hote. Aur isliye main chahti hoon ki ab tu apne aap par dhyan de.” Ruhana tries to explain it to her.

“Tum dono bhi toh meri family ho, Ruu. Main kaise tum dono ko peeche chhod ke aage badh jaun?” She asks, she feels that Ruhana should have taken the opportunity and they’d have moved to London.

“Hum toh dil se jude hain na, Ana? Tum aisa kyun soch rahi ho ki hum peeche rahenge, nahi rahenge. Door hone se pyaar thodi na kam hoga. Tumhe jaana chahiye. Aur vaise bhi, tum kya wahin rehne wali ho? Bilkul nahi, kaam khatm karo aur jaldi wapas aao. Suhana aur uski Mumma tumhara intezar karenge.” Ruhana says, letting her know her next steps.

She says the last line amusingly, causing them to dissolve into laughter. Their friendship serves as a sweet refuge for each other. Ruhana regards Anamika as her saviour during tough times. Meanwhile, for Anamika, Ruhana has been her sole supporter, backing her in all her endeavours. It's the type of bond that cannot be diminished, as it is connected to the affection of this young girl, Suhana.

The two friends part ways, hoping for a morning that takes away all of their pain.

Two days pass, and Kabir has successfully immersed himself in Raghu’s gang as Kailash. He has befriended him well and has started to understand his strategies. Though, it has been an easy task to dissolve amidst Raghu’s men. He’s working on the laptop, when Raghu keeps his hand on his shoulder, alerting him.

“Kya kar rahe ho, Kailash? Kuch dhundh rahe ho?” Raghu questions.

“Raghu, kuch files confidential hoti hain, unhe hi save kar raha tha, aur kya karunga main tumhare laptop pe.” Kailash aka Kabir replies.

“Vaise tum ache dost ho, varna aajkal kisi pe vishwas karna mushkil hai.” Raghu expresses his concern.

“Jaanta hoon, Raghu. Lekin tum mujhpe bharosa kar sakte ho. Kisi pe toh bharosa karna hoga. Vaise, bharose laayak aadmi tum ho bhi nahi.” He expresses his point and murmurs the last line, which is audible only to him.

“Tum thik kehte ho, Kailash. Khair, mujhe tumse hamare agle consignment ke baare mein kuch baat karni hain.” Raghu says and they head into Raghu’s room.

Raghu and his gang have made their home in an estranged hotel, which no one knows about. Kailash follows Raghu’s lead and they begin discussing the consignments. Meanwhile, Raghu says something that startles Kailash, yet his lips curl into a smirk. Maybe, his next step is crystal clear, and he’s sure of what he has to do next.
