Ellalaura: How rare. For once, the girls aren't following you three around like little chicks.

(Y/N): We've heard that they're having a little meeting with each other.

Gura: *Curious* And I'm kinda wondering why they are going to talk about with...

Yuna: *Giggles* Maybe it's best to leave them be.

Ellalaura: Hehe, of course. They're at their age for children.

A couple of minutes passed after everyone got separated to their own thing, you and Alphax were seen walking together down the city roads.

Alphax: *Smirks* Relaxing today, Master?

(Y/N): Yeah. Gotta kick back up my feet today...

That's when you stopped in your tracks because you felt something within your gut. You can feel it speaking to you... "Go back to the Farrengram house!"

Alphax: Master, is something wrong?

(Y/N): It's my gut feeling, it's telling me to go back to Misa's house.

As soon as you said that, you felt goosebumps within you.

Alphax: *Pauses for a few moments* Maybe we should listen to your gut. Let's head back.

You nodded as you and Alphax quickly made your way back to the Farrengram house.

It wasn't that long as you and Alphax arrived until the two of you looked around to see the chaos in the backyard of the Farrengram household, everyone was unconscious, the flowers were destroyed, and plates were broken on the ground.

Alphax: Wha...What the hell is this?!

You then see Noir and Fina lying there, but Misa-na Farrengram is nowhere to be found.

(Y/N): Alphax, go get help from anyone inside!

Alphax: *Nods* Got it.

Aphax then heads back inside the mansion to get help.

You ran up to Fina first and noticed something on her face that looked like a red mark as if she got hurt. You decided to use the "Healing Touch" skill to cleanse that mark. Once that was done, you looked over to Noir and saw that she was not hurt but unconscious.

(Y/N): Where the hell is Misa?

You questioned under your breath.

Fina: *Slowly wakes up* Yuna Sis...?

(Y/N): No, kid, it's me.

Fina: Big Bro (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Kid, tell me what happened here.

Fina: Misa...Lady Misa...A man dressed in black captured Lady Misa...We tried to stop him, but we couldn't...

Fina then grabbed onto your left arm and apologized for not doing anything.

You reassured Fina, but behind that is a hint of anger.

Seeing Fina's tears and her request to save Misa-na Farregram caused a flash of a memory from the past of how you were once helpless to save your mother.

Cliff Foschurose decided to run up towards Noir's little unconscious body while Gran looked around in shock.

Alphax: I told them everything what just happened. What's our next move?

You slowly turned around, showing your red eyes.

(Y/N): Alphax, let's go find that damn culprit.

Alphax: What? Right now?

(Y/N): Right now. I've caught the scent of the culprit.

Cliff: Who's the culprit behind this!?

(Y/N): Fina told me that it was a man dressed in black. Gura and Yuna will be on their way here.

Cliff: (Y/N), wait!

Alphax then shifted back into her wolf form as you rode on her back and quickly ran off together as you followed the scent of the said culprit.

(Y/N): *Glares menacingly* Death is coming for you...

-With Misa-na Farrengram-

At the Salbard family household, we see Misa getting thrown into the cells by none other than Randle Salbard and his bodyguard, Brad.

Randle: The Farrengram family didn't see you, right?
Brad: *Takes off his mask* I disguised myself. It was easy without that bodyguard of theirs. Either way, I'm still expecting proper payment.

Randle: Heh, what a greedy man!

Misa: Why? Why did you...*Looks around* What happened to Sister Noa and Fina?!

Randle: You're so stupid, Misa-na. Are you sure you should be worried about others when you've been taken as hostage?

Misa's eyes widen upon hearing that.

Misa: Hostage?

Randle: Yeah. Just llike those brats. As long as we threaten the fools, that go against us with their kids.

Misa: *Teared up* You're terrible! They're your own citizens...

Randle: *Mocking* You're really stupid! Since they live here, the citizens belong to the Salbard family. We can use them however we want. Now that old geezer, Gran, won't be able to go against us. Just tremble in this cell until he loses his right to be Sheelin's lord.

And just like that, Randle laughs away as Brad closes and locks the door behind them, leaving Misa and the other children inside.

Misa: *Shaken* Sister Noa...Fina...

The three children started crying which made Misa feel heartbroken upon hearing their cries as she decided to comfort them since she's much older than them.

Garjudo: You stupid boy!

Garjudo slammed his fist on the desk, which made Randle flinch upon hearing that.

Garjudo: You kidnapped Misa-na?! I told you to stay quiet until Zelef returned to the royal capital! What are you doing?!

Randle: I just did the same thing you did! Geezer Gran is a softie. He'll listen to all our demands as long as we have a hostage.

Garjudo: *Disbelief* How can you be this stupid? Commoners are fine, but have you thought about the dangers of kidnapping another noble?!

Randle: *Retorts* You're too much of a coward, Dad! This is our city! We're the most powerful here! Not just the nobles. Even the king can't touch us!

That is when everyone would hear the sound of explosions and rumbling inside the mansion. But it was all caused by a certain person from outside...

Outside the Farrengram household, we see you and Alphax in her human form.

Guard 1: Who are you?!

Guard 2: A-A wolf?

(Y/N): *Polite, but pissed* Hello, gentlemen. Would you mind telling us where a girl named Misa-na Farrengram is?

Guard 2: Misa-na Farrengram? This is Lord Salbard's mansion!

Alphax: We ain't going anywhere. As wolves, her scent led us here.

Guard 1: You'll have to get through us!

Both Guards held their spears up high.

(Y/N): Move, you damn bitches.

You then lightly punched both guards into their bodies as they were instantly knocked out cold before you and Alphax entered through the gates.

(Y/N): *Sniffs* Yeah, she's definitely here.

Alphax: Ready to knock this door down, Master?

You nodded until you and Alphax were about to kick the door down, but the two of you heard a familiar voice.

???: (Y/N)!

You and Alphax turned around to see Yuna on top of Kumayuru and Gawr Gura riding on top of Kumakyu.

Yuna: Wait for us!

(Y/N): Oh, you two have arrived.

Gura: Yeah.

Both Gura and Yuna noticed the red glowing eyes, signifying that Death was out.

Yuna: *Urgent* (Y/N), we heard what happened to Fina and the others.

Gura: *Worried* Is it true that Misa is here?

Alphax: *Nods* Yeah, her scent is here.

(Y/N): So, only the four of us can take on any soldiers we see. Yuna, call off Kumakyu and Kumayuru.

Yuna nods as she then uses her magic to withdraw Kumayuru and Kumakyu.

Gura: So, are we guys ready?

(Y/N)/Yuna/Alphax: Ready/Yeah/Let's kick their asses.

You and Alphax then eventually kicked down the front door, causing a loud noise like an explosion.

This caused everyone in the mansion to be alarmed by the loud breaking in. All of the male adventurers entered the main door and saw you and your friends.

Garjudo: What's going on?! What was that noise?! *Sees you and your group* Who the hell are you!? Why are you dressed as a wolf, bear, and shark?!

(Y/N): *Blunt* Where is Misa-na Farrengram?

Randle: *Points* You're the wolf man from last time!

Yuna: *Blunt* Where. Is. Misa?

Gura: Give her back, you twat!

Garjudo: Hmph, what are you talking about? I don't know who you are but you people won't get away with attacking a noble's home.

You spoke in a threatening, yet relaxed tone with the same glowing red eyes as you began to let out a haunting whistle to inflict fear into them as Death.

Garjudo: *Fearful* Wh-What are you talking about?! I won't allow you to do whatever you want! Stay away from me!!

That is when someone bunch of fireballs started raining down on you. Alphax, Yuna, and Gura dodged it out of the way while you tanked it.

Alphax: Master!

The fire then dissipates, revealing that you were still unharmed by the fireballs. You looked up to see who it was, and it was Brad himself.

Brad: Oh, my. You can tank that as well? Impressive.

(Y/N): *Glares* You...

Brad: Your ridiculous costume and that wolf woman...Just who in the world are you? You found us so quickly, even though I attacked when you and your friends were absent.

Garjudo: Brad! Don't say unnecessary things!

Brad: There's no point in hiding it. As they said, they had found her scent, just like wolves sniffing out.

Brad: For what?

(Y/N): For telling us the information that was you. "A man dressed in black", right? That would've been you.

Gura: *Curious* (Y/N), do you know this guy?

(Y/N): Yeah, his name's Brad. Noir, Fina, Misa, and I had encountered this guy before the old timer's birthday.

Yuna: *Clenches her fist* So he's the culprit, huh...?

Randle: Shit! I thought no one noticed you when you kidnapped her, Brad! *Points at you and your group* Take responsibility! Get rid of these people!

Brad: Yes, of course. This was a blunder on my part!

Brad then fires off fireballs at you, but you dodged them before firing out your energy blasts from your right palm towards Brad, but he dodged it as he landed in front of you and Alphax.

Brad: *Creepy grin* You can fire out energy blasts, huh? Well, well. As I thought, you're quite an interesting young man!

Brad licks his lips, much to your disgust.

(Y/N): *Threatening* Then I shall rip that tongue off and shove it back to your throat.

Garjudo: Join in, everyone! Don't let them leave here alive!

Everyone pulls out their weapons while you summon out your sickles.

Yuna: We'll take care of this, (Y/N)!

Gura: Go for it!

Alphax: Beat that dude up!

And just like that, the three girls went their separate ways to defeat the other soldiers.

Both you and Brad began clashing at each other's weapons. You held a composed expression with your red eyes glowing while Brad had a grin on his face.

The two of you exchanged attacks and dodging at the same time at lightning speed.

(Y/N): You call that speed?

Brad: There's more to it! Can you keep up?

(Y/N): Go ahead. You're dancing with death!

Brad then goes faster and faster with his attack speed, but you can still see his movements as you both block and dodge them.

(Y/N): Is this all you have? I expected better from you.

Brad: This is just the beginning!

Brad then increased his speed once again, but it was infused with fire.

(Y/N): Hmm...not too bad. However...

You then take a deep breath and let out a powerful breath as it creates a strong gust of wind that sends most of the adventurers flying, including Garjudo and Randle, except for Brad.

Randle: *Frustrated* What the hell is that guy?! Brad is a talented ex-adventurer, you know!? He's not someone a weird guy like him should be able to handle!

(Y/N): *Cold* Just because he's strong, there will always be someone who can outclass him.

Gura: Ooh! That's some pure savagery!

Gawr Gura encourages while she, Yuna, and Alphax beating down every soldier she is surrounded with. Randle then runs away out of fear while you glared at that brat.

However, Brad slowly goes up behind you and attempts to stab you in the back. As soon as he got closer, you quickly turned around, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and pinned him to the wall.

Brad: Ggh...!

(Y/N): Hmph.

You then smashed Brad onto the wall a few times by pushing him back and forth before throwing him away as he is seen rolling down the floor like a ragdoll until he slowly gets back up.

(Y/N): *Approaches Brad* You're pathetic. Is that all an ex-adventurer can do?

Brad: You're... more impressive than I thought... Other humans are the best opponents in battle!

You raised an eyebrow at his statement.

Brad: Really? Who in the world are you? I knew you were strong. *Looks at Alphax, Gura, and Yuna* Same as those friends of yours. But I can't believe you managed to block all my attacks so completely despite smashing me to the wall.

(Y/N): What are you trying to say, asshole?

Brad: I'm saying that I love crushing the weak. Right, just like those two little girls that were with my target...

Hearing that made your eyes widen...

Brad: They tried so hard to protect the target from me. I couldn't help but to retaliate. Stomping on their reckless bravery was so exciting!

Hearing his words made Yuna, Gura, and Alphax get angry at Brad. You, on the other hand, caused more flashes of the past, the sounds of your murderers who murdered your mother as a child...

(Y/N): You...I shall make you pay for it...! Your sin...

Brad: Hm?

Your eyes began to glow redder until you yelled out...

(Y/N): ...IS UNFORGIVABLE!!

Brad: What?!

You summoned our your sickles until you made a circle of fire around the room between you and Brad, causing a tense atmosphere.

Yuna: *Jumps back* Whoa, what the heck is this?!

Gura: *Tensed* I think (Y/N)'s losing it!

Within the circle of fire, you and Brad were now against each other.

Brad: Oh my, seems a duel between us, yes?

(Y/N): *Nods* Yes.

You then switched your sickles and entered into a double-ended glaive as you performed a spin of your staff, which surprised Brad.

Brad: *Surprised, but intrigued* I didn't know your sickles could do that.

(Y/N): If you step out of this ring of fire, you will be burnt to pieces until you're nothing left, Brad. Prepare yourself because Death is coming for you.

You said with a sinister expression, which caused Brad to feel chills down his spine until he tried mustering up the courage as he pulled out his dual daggers while you gave him a death glare with your still glowing red eyes.

Brad: *Tries to compose himself* Hmph, I am not done living yet!

And just like that, both you and Brad begin to fight amongst each other while Yuna and Gura are watching your silhouettes through the fire. Alphax was tall so she could completely see what was going on from her perspective view.

You launched a series of aggressive and vicious attacks, your glaive slicing through the air with remarkable speed and precision. Brad did his best to defend and counter, his dual daggers clashing with the double-ended glaive. The mansion's entrance became a battleground, their strikes creating sparks that illuminated the shadows.

Despite his best efforts, Brad found himself gradually pushed back by the relentless onslaught by you. Your determination and rage were a force to be reckoned with, and Brad struggled to keep up. In a daring move, you lunged forward, delivering a precise strike that sliced through the leather of Brad's left boot, leaving a gash and a cut wound. Bits of Brad's hair were also shorn off by the glaive's edge.

You maintained a composed expression, but his red eyes glowed like embers as if Brad had awakened the Big Bad Wolf within him. The battle raged on, each strike carrying the weight of your anger and desire to protect anyone that you do not wish to lose. As Brad found himself pressed closer to the fiery walls, you advanced, looming over your adversary and asked with a chilling calmness while pointing at the of your glaive's edge...

(Y/N): What's the matter? Lives flashing before your eyes?

Once you asked that question, Brad's life began flashing before his eyes until you kicked Brad's weapons in front of him.

(Y/N): Pick it up. Pick. It. Up.

The air was thick with tension as the battle continued to unfold in the expansive mansion's front entrance until you heard Brad's voice...

Brad: *Fearful* P-Please have mercy!

Brad begged in fear until you hear Yuna and Gura's voices behind the fiery walls.

Gura: *Pleading* (Y/N), don't kill him!

Yuna: *Torn* I share your anger (Y/N), but...he's had enough...

You looked back at Yuna and Gura until you looked at Alphax who didn't seem bothered.

Alphax: That depends on your actions, Master. Whether you want to kill him or let him live.

You then turn to look at Brad who is still scared. You gave him a scornful expression before knocking him out with a hard left punch instantly.

Once he was knocked out, the ring of fiery walls began to disperse by your command.

Both Yuna and Gura ran up to you in concern after the brutal performance between you and Brad until all of you turned over to Garjudo who was clearly shitting his pants.

Garjudo: Wh-Wh-Who in the world are you people?!

Yuna: We're Misa's friends. We or... I don't care about the fighting between nobles, but laying your hands on Misa is a different story.

Garjudo: *Fearful* I know nothing! My son did it all on his own!

That is when everyone hears Randle's voice from above.

Randle: H-Hey, you animals!

All of you looked up to see Randle grabbing Misa's right arm.

Randle: If you resist, she'll...

However, Randle's voice gets interrupted by a chilling presence behind him as he hears the chilling whistle.

Randle slowly turns around in fear until he sees you standing over him with your same glowing red eyes.

(Y/N): Don't even think about it.

You spoke up in a deep tone in your voice which made Randle get scared until you bonked him in the head using your right fist until he was knocked out.

Misa: B-Brother (Y/N)!

You looked at Misa with a calm nod until everyone heard Garjudo speak up again.

Garjudo: M-My son did it all! I'm completely innocent!

Yuna: Are you trying to say this is none of your business?

Garjudo: *Looks back at Yuna* Th-That's right. Don't think you can get away with attacking an innocent noble like this!

Gura: *Skeptical* So you're selling your own son to save your skin?

Both Yuna and Gura started cracking their knuckles as they started approaching Garjudo while Alphax stood there and watched.

However, the two girls held back their strength, in order not to incapacitate him.

Ellalura: *Sigh of relief* Thank goodness. He's still alive.

Alphax: *Curious* Ellalura, why are you here with the guards?

Ellalaura: *Turns to the guards with a serious face* Capture them all. Don't use force unless necessary.

Guards: Yes!

Ellaluara: I happen to see (Y/N) rush through the city with a scary look on his face. I wanted to chase after him immediately, but I didn't know what was going on.

Misa seems happy and grateful to hear that.

Ellalura: It has been a while, Garjudo. I am here to inspect the city under His Majesty's orders. He told me to confirm the rumors of your evil doings.

And just like that, Misa led Alphax to where the other children were.

Ellalaura: What is the meaning of this?

Garjudo: *Sheepish* N-No idea. I'm sure my son is the culprit.

Ellalura: Oh, I see. Will you admit to the crimes of your son and cooperate with his capture?

Gura: Ooh, that's a good way to ask someone.

Ellalaura: We shall proceed without caution, then. Everyone, now that we have his full cooperation, search every floor and corner of this mansion!

And just like that, the guards were dispersed, searching everything from top to bottom.

Garjudo: Wait! What need is there to search the mansion?!

Ellalaura: Don't we need to collect all the evidence? We can't just end it at his capture. Oh, but there's always a chance that we might accidentally find evidence of crimes unrelated to your son.

Everyone looked over to Alphax and Misa who was with the other three children. The children are relieved and happy that they got out of the Salbard mansion.

You and the others comforted the kids that they will all reunited with their families soon, much to their joy.

And now, it was only Gura, Yuna, Alphax, Misa, and you were in the room alone together.

Misa: *Grateful* Sister Yuna, Sister Gura, Brother (Y/N), and Miss Alphax. thank you for coming to save me. *Sad* My family problems have caused everyone so much trouble. I cannot apologize enough...

Yuna: There's no need to apologize. You're the victim here, Misa.

(Y/N): *Nods* Mm.

Misa: *Tears in her eyelids* Such little children were treated so badly. I'm a noble and the granddaughter of the city lord...

At sunset, Gawr Gura, Yuna, Alphax, Misa-na Farrengram, and you come back to the Farrengram household where everyone is waiting.

Noir & Fina: Misa/Lady Misa!

Misa: Sister Noa! Fina!

Noir: *Teared up* Misa! I'm so sorry! I'm the older one, but I couldn't protect you!

Fina: *Teared up* Me, too! Even though you're my friend! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

The three girls started crying and were relieved that they were all okay.

Gura lets out a few tears in her eyes. Yuna and Alphax watched with smiles on their faces. You, on the other hand, gave off a smile and nod of acknowledging the sentimentality.

The four of you looked up front to see Cliff Foschurose and everyone else who were waiting.

Yuna: What a grand welcome.

Cliff: Your actions deserved it. Goodness. We keep owning you more and more. I'm not confident we can pay you back.

(Y/N): *Chuckles* No need for that, Cliff. All we gotta do is to help others, that's all.

Yuna: You guys are really over-exaggerating things!

Gura: Hey, at least, we made everyone feel happy today, Yuna.

Yuna: *Smiles* Yeah...

Yuna looks over to you and you are lost in your thoughts while looking out the horizon. She then takes your right hand, much to your surprise when you snap out of your thoughts, and she says...

(Y/N): *Confused* For what?

Alphx: *Pats you in the head* Yeah, even if you had the burden to carry, we'll help you move through it.

You let out a lighthearted chuckle before saying...

(Y/N): Thanks, you girls. Teamwork and unity is the best we've got to go through all of our journey and adventures.

So, after the incident of the Farrengram and Salbard family. After finding a mountain of evidence, Garjudo Salbard was imprisoned by the king and given the death penalty. Randle Salbard was stripped of his noble title. Their properties were confiscated, and he was exiled from Sheelin. Brad was also imprisoned as well after he received the orders by Salbard. The guild master of the Sheelin merchant guild was dismissed and the economy recovered. Gran retired and Misa's father inherited his position as the sole lord of the Sheelin. A lot of stuff happened in between, but that's a story for next time. And then...

Misa: Sister Noa, Fina, please be safe.

Fina: Thank you so much. Yuna Sis, Gura Sis, Big Bro (Y/N), and Miss Alphax will be with us, so we'll be fine.
