It was a dark and rainy night, we see a young boy who has (H/C) hair and was lying on the ground, but his face was a bit bruised up.

This young boy was none other than (Y/N) himself as he slowly woke up and shakes his head to clear his head.

(Y/N): Wha...? What happened...?

The boy questioned until his eyes widen in realization as he lifted his head up and see a familiar body in front of him.

(Y/N): Mom...! No...!

(Y/N) quickly got back up and runs towards his mother, (M/N) (L/N). His shock turn into horror as he sees his mother's was not moving at all.

(Y/N): Why...? Why did you have to leave me...?

(Y/N) asked his lifeless mother below his feet as he begins to gently lift her up and tries shaking her.

(Y/N): Mom, come on! Please, wake up! Don't leave me after Dad was gone...! Ggh...!

Tears streaming down from the (H/C) young boy as he lets out an anguished scream while crying his eyes out.

That is when (Y/N) hears a voice behind him...

???: Don't worry, little one. Your mother suffered a lot.

(Y/N) turns around and sees three dark figures standing over him and they had evil grins on their faces.

(Y/N): Y-You...! You did this to my mom!!

??? 2: Of course, but right now...

??? 3: It is time for you to join her.

The man in the center lifts his axe as he goes to kill (Y/N), but unfortunately...

(Y/N): Ah!!!

We see the current (Y/N) immediately shoot up after experiencing the nightmare of his past and he was panting heavily before wiping the sweat off of his forehead.

(Y/N): Phew...just a nightmare...

The young (H/C) male said to himself until he hears a knock on his door and hearing a familiar voice which is Yuna.

Yuna: Hey (Y/N), it's morning now. We gotta eat breakfast before we head to the Royal Capital.

(Y/N): O-Oh uh...sure! I'll be right there in a minute. Gotta eat first before I take a shower.

Yuna: Okay.

And just like that, Yuna's footsteps fade away as you let out a small sigh.

(Y/N): Alright, time to go to work.

After yesterday hearing Cliff Foschurose asking you, Gura, and Yuna to head to the royal capital...

Right now, the three of you were heading to the Foschurose mansion, but the three of you have bought Fina around.

Noa: I had forgotten. There are two bears and a wolf.

Not long after, You, Gura, and Yuna easily took down the wolves with your strengths.

Noa: As expected of you three. How brilliant!

Fina: I'll harvest them when we get home.

Yuna: *Uses her left-hand glove* Please.

Yuna then uses the inter-dimensional storage to store away the lifeless corpse of the wolves.

(Y/N): (Oh yeah. I haven't Harvested any lifeless monsters for a while, but I don't even have an extra sharp object brought with me. I could probably buy a weapon or just rely on my fists.)

Noa: Harvest? Um, what kind of relationship do you guys of you have?

Yuna: Before Gura had arrived, Fina saved me and (Y/N) when we were lost in the woods.

Fina: Both Yuna Sis and Big Bro (Y/N) saved me when I was being attacked by a wolf in the forest.

Gura: However, since we can't harvest the monsters we've defeated, she helps us.

Fina: I harvest all of the monsters they defeat. I'm very thankful for the work.

Noa: P-Please wait a moment! *Holds her head in confusion* Um, so...The four of you are close friends?

Gura: A few hours ago, how come you're good at sniffing out the wolves ahead of us?

Yuna: Yeah. Is that a new skill you got?

(Y/N): Well... it's a passive skill which is called "The Wolven's Smell". This skill is just basically a wolf sniffing to detect other animals more than a mile away and it's 100 times greater than humans. If I start sniffing on something like food or any of those, my brain will process what the information is. Just like a human does.

Yuna: Oh, I see.

Gura: Can you sniff me, too?

Gura asked with a dumb smile which caused the girls including you to be taken aback.

(Y/N): Jeez, Gura, what the heck?! You make it sound as if you're asking a creep to sniff you, and I'm not doing that!

Gura: Ehehe, I'm kidding, I'm kidding~!

Time passes and it was now sunset as Noa keeps telling her stories about her life and family to everyone...

Noa: My mother and elder sister live in the royal capital. Mother works in the castle, and my elder sister excels in her studies.

Everyone eventually runs towards the front entrance of Yuna's house, but not before taking off the shoes on the front porch.

(Y/N): Alright, everyone. Here you go~! I call this one "Best-Ever Steak and Eggs"!

You announced as you placed the plates with food in front of everyone on the table.

Everyone then begin to eat the cooked steak first until the girls had shocked faces before slowly turning into delightful ones.

(Y/N): It's called Best-Ever Steak and Eggs. (However, I took it from the internet just to try it out for myself.) All you gotta do is pick something with a good blend of tenderness and fat for both the steak and the egg. It must be substantial, not too thin.

Gura: *Happy* Yeah, but it also tastes like luxury~!

Fina: *Awed* Amazing. Thanks for cooking the food for us, Big Bro (Y/N)!

The next day comes for everyone until...

We see Yuna cutting down two large orc monsters.

Next is (Y/N) summoning out his large ghostly arms and smacking a few goblins away.

Gura: Rapid Thrust Attacks!

And lastly, Gura used her Trident to finish off the last enemy which is a large mutant turtle with rapid strikes before finishing it off with a horizontal slash.

(Y/N): Alright, I think that's the last of 'em.

You said to Yuna and Gura as the three of you went to check on the remaining survivors.

That is when both the old man and the little girl with silver hair approached you three and were baffled upon seeing your outfits.

Old Man: Thank you very much for saving us...

Yuna: *Deadpanned Face*(He was about to say something about the way we look, but stopped himself.)

Silver-Haired Girl: Thank you for saving us, Lady...Bear? Wolf boy...and Shark Girl?

Yuna: I'm not a bear.

(Y/N): Neither am I a wolf.

Gura: And I'm a Shark Girl, yes.

Noa: *Climbs down from Kumakyu* Lord Gran! Misa! *Runs towards Gran and Misa*

Misa: Sister Noa!

Noa and Misa then held palms with each other with a smile on their faces.

After another day of walking and sleeping, everyone finally arrived at the Royal Capital in the distance.

Upon entering the Royal Capital, you can notice that the citizens were all looking at you, Gura, and Yuna. They were muttering about the costumes, mistaking you three as animals, and an animal riding an animal like "A Bear riding a Bear?" and such...

And now, You, Gura, Fina, Noa, and Yuna arrived at another Foscherose's family mansion in the Royal Capital.

Gran: Thank you for taking care of us, you three.

Yuna: It was on the way.

Misa: *Waves* Sister Noa. Miss Fina. I will come over to play!

Fina: Yes.

And just like that, Gran and Misa went off on their own somewhere in the Royal Capital.

The five of you arrived through the gates and enter the front porch until the entrance door slams open and all of you see a woman wearing a yellow dress and orange hair running towards Noa with her arms out in an excited manner.

Noa's mother then hugged Noa with a warm embrace.

You, Fina, Gura, and Yuna were surprised by the interaction between Noa and her mom.

Ella: I rushed home after getting notified by the gate guards that you arrived.

Yuna then used her inter-dimensional storage from her left glove to summon out a white box on the table.

Gura then opens the box in front of Ellalaura, revealing the goblin king's sword.

Yuna: This is the gift to present to His Majesty, the sword of the goblin king.

(Y/N): Oh, and we also have a letter, too. Gura, give it to her.

Gura: Here you go.

Gura handed Ellalaura the letter as she begins to open and read the whole thing in silence.

Ellalaura: This sword...You allowed us to have it. Thank you.

Yuna: No, it wasn't anything special...

That is when Ellalaura leans in closer towards, you, Yuna, and Gura.

(Y/N): *Defensive* Is something the matter, Lady Ellalaura?

Ellalaura: You don't have to talk like that. *Smiles* It seems very difficult for you here.

You, Gura, Fina, and Yuna glanced at each other before speaking back to Ellalaura.

Gura: You sure?

Ellalaura: Yes, it was written in the letter. "Do not make them your enemy."

Yuna: Huh?

Ellalaura: Next was, "Don't anger Yuna."

(Y/N): Bruh...

Ellalaura: And then, "Yuna will cause trouble, so please handle the aftermath well along with her two friends."

Gura: *Facepalms and Sighs* Goodness me...

Yuna: I sound like a super troublesome woman.

The mysterious woman with yellow hair known as Shia starts backing away in fear.

Shia: M-Mother! Noa is with a bear...

Shia then turns to her mother's voice until she sees Kumayuru in front of her face with Ellalaura riding on top of it.

Shia: Another bear?! Mother! Noa! That's dangerous! Please get off of the bears!

Ellalaura: Oh, my. Calling the bears dangerous is quite rude to them.

Noa: These two are not dangerous, Sister.

Shia: B-Bears...They are dangerous things...

Shia then turns around and sees Yuna, Gura, Fina, and You with Alphax as she became more shocked.

Shia: A-Another bear?! Now there are two wolves, and a...*Notices Gura's shark tail* and a Shark?!

A few minutes of explaining later to Shia...

Shia: So...these two girls...the one on the left is dressed as a bear...the one in the middle is a girl who is a hybrid shark...and the last is a guy wearing a wolf hoodie with fake wolf ears and a tail. These three are Noa's escorts?

Ellalaura: Don't be rude. These three are adventurers. Yuna, Gawr Gura, and (Y/N) (L/N). This girl is Shia. She is my daughter and Noa's older sister.

Yuna: I see...

Shia: Please do not joke! *Points at Gura, (Y/N), and Yuna* There is no way that these three escorted my sister! *Points at Gura and Yuna* Those two girls are young *Points at (Y/N)* and this guy is a little older than them!

Ellalaura: Now, we'll have (Y/N) a fight with Shia. Gura and Yuna can stay back for a bit.

(Y/N): (Why do I have an odd feeling that Lady Ellaluara is setting me up to be interested in Shia?)

Noa: *Waves at you* Mister (Y/N)! Do your best! *Waves at Shia* You hang in there as well, Sister!

Fina: Please go easy on her, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): *Sighs* Alright, lady. Wanna do it now?

Shia: No need to hold back.

Ellalaura: Now then, Begin!

Eullalaura commences the fight as Shia starts to begin charging at you with her wooden sword out and letting out a battle cry.

Shia then starts swinging her sword while you continued to block her attacks while stepping backward.

Yuna begins to think to herself while watching you and Shia.

Yuna: (I fought against many people who relied on strength blindly like this in the game. They always jump at chances like these. I'm sure (Y/N) already knows that.)

(Y/N): Come on, girl! Keep it up!

Shia: Shut up!

(Y/N): Oh?

You then lowered your defense which Shia notices as she goes to bring down her wooden sword at you.

Shia: I got you!

(Y/N): Nah.

At the speed of light, you went behind her Shia while she completely misses her attack.

(Y/N): Is that all you got? I know you can do better than that.

Shia: *Turns around* Y-You...stop being cocky!

Shia then continues to attack you again, but you easily dodge her attacks.

Shia: Hya! *Thrusts her sword to hit your left cheek*

(Y/N): *Dodges to the right* Slow!

Shia: Ha! *Thrust her sword to hit your right cheek*

(Y/N): *Dodges to the left* Sloppy!

Shia: Ngh! *Does a horizontal slash across your face*

(Y/N): *Leans backwards* So Sad!

Shia: Enough!

Shia then tries bringing her wooden sword down at you again, but you blocked it with your wooden sword before throwing Shia's sword into the air as it lands far behind her.

In a quick moment, you put your wooden sword near Shia's neck and said...

Weaponsmith: They cost around 30 Gold Coins. The blades of those sickles are made out of Steel and it can cut down most of the monsters on the way and pierce through the skin of them, plus it can also be used on Harvesting as well.

(Y/N): Huh...interesting...

Weaponsmith: Oh, and that's not all of what it can do. The sickles can also take the form of a double-ended glaive.

(Y/N): Really?

Weaponsmith: Allow me to demonstrate.

The Weaponsmith takes off the sickles from the shelf and begins to use the handles to connect their pommels until you and the Weaponsmith can hear the click inside and it begins to extend to join the weapons together as it forms into a double-ended glaive which is like a staff.

(Y/N): Holy shit...

Weaponsmith: Indeed.

The weaponsmith then disconnects the pommels of the double-bladed glavier back into the twin sickles

Weaponsmith: Would you like to buy this?

You grabbed your wallet from your back pocket and see that you have plenty of gold coins.

(Y/N): I'll take it.

Weaponsmith: Pleasure doing business with 'ya, kiddo.

You handed him the 30 gold coins while the Weaponsmith gives you the two pair of sickles.

You looked at the sickles as you perform a quick spin of the sickles from your hands until you make a smile on your face.

(Y/N): Thanks a lot. Oh, and do I need to get a weapon belt for this?

The Weaponsmith chuckles and said...

Weaponsmith: That won't be needed. You can simply use your magic to make the sickles appear and disappear anytime you want.

(Y/N): Okay then...Hmm...

You then focused on using your magic until you see the sickles disappeared from your hands which made you feel in awe as you continued to focus on your magic once again until the sickles begin to appear in your hands and you gave a nod of approval.

Weaponsmith: *Nods* No problem. Come again anytime.

You then walked out with the sickles in your hands as you begin to search for Gura, Yuna, and Fina with your passive skill of sniffing out their scent.

Ellalaura: Though the meat is delicious, this white substance...

Yuna: It's cheese. It's something made from milk.

Ellalaura: Yes. Yes. This cheese pairs really well with the meat. *Chomps onto the hamburger again*.

Shia: Mother! Noa! That's disgraceful!

(Y/N): Hey, Shia.

(Y/N): Come on, it's best if you eat the hamburger with your own hands. It'll be a small refreshing change than just using utensils to eat.

Shia: *Nervously raises her hand* M-Me, too.

Noa/Ellalaura/Shia: *Daydreaming* Pizza...~

Fina: *Also Daydreaming* Yuna Sis~

(Y/N): Oh my...seems we got a lot of hard work.
