In a certain town, there lived a little girl. One day, the girl went to the forest to look for herbs for her sick and bedridden mother. However, since the forest was full of scary monsters, the girl was attacked by them.

Fina: I'm sorry, Mom! I'm sorry I couldn't find the medicinal herbs for you!

Right then, three animals suddenly appeared and saved the girl. There was a bear girl, a wolf boy, and a shark girl...

Fina: Bear, Wolf, Shark, are you three going to eat me?

Yuna: *Reassuring* We're not.

Gura: *Smiles* Indeed~!

(Y/N): *Raise eyebrow* So, tell us why you're out here, kiddo?

The girl explained to the three creatures why she came to the forest. Then...the bear carried the girl on her back as the wolf and a shark would walk alongside the bear in between as three creatures took the girl to a place with lots of herbs. Now the girl would be able to make medicine for her mother. Then, the bear, the wolf, and the shark took her back to town.

Fina: *Waves* Thank you, Bear. Thank you, Wolf. Thank you, Shark.

The girl smiled and waved at the three creatures until they returned to their rightful places. She kept waving and waving...

Yuna: So, that was the first picture book I made.

Kumayuru and Kumakyu let out awed noises until you spoke up in confusion.

(Y/N): *Confused* Wait, so you put Gura in the same location of where we met Fina?

Yuna: *Nods* Yeah. I mean, she did start late, so I thought I'd try to put her in the story.

Gura: Well, that's gonna confuse the story further. However, it's quite a basic story you wrote, Yuna. *Curious* What's it all for anyway?

Yuna: Oh come on, you two. Did you forget that we visited Princess Flora in the royal capital after getting her letter? Princess Flora said she wanted to read the next part of the picture book I gave her, so I'm trying to think of what to draw.

Alphax: *Rolls eyes* So that's the reason why you asked us for ideas...

Yuna: I just needed help, that's all. *Looks down at the drawing* Besides, I modeled the girl after Fina, but Fina is pretty shy, right? So you guys have to keep this whole thing a secret.

That is when...

Fina: Everyone! I'm done harvesting the monsters for today.

Yuna: *Panics* G-Good job, Fina!

Fina: *Tilts her head* What's wrong?

(Y/N): Ah, it's nothing, kiddo. We're just doing our teenager stuff.

Gura: *Tries to be dismissive* That's right! There's no need to worry about that, hehe...

-Mini Time Skip-

Later, the four of you arrived at the Bear Haven restaurant to get something to eat while also being admired by the townsfolk in Crimonia.

Boy Bear Waiter: Here's your food!

Girl Bear Waitress: Sorry for the wait!

(Y/N)/Gura/Yuna/Fina: Thank you for the meal!

And just like that, Yuna and Fina were eating the bear pancakes which is a brand new food in the Bear Haven. 

You and Alphax were eating a dish that you gave the recipe in the Bear Haven which is known as "Curry Egg".

Gawr Gura, on the other hand, was just eating a simple pizza.

Fina: These new honey-soaked bear pancakes are really good, Yuna Sis!

Yuna: *Nods with Delight* Yeah! Sweet honey generously drizzled over fluffy pancakes is the best!

Fina: *Looks over at (Y/N)* Big Bro (Y/N), how does your new food tastes like?

You were silently eating the Egg Curry with a composed, yet satisfied look on your face.

(Y/N): *Nods* Mm. It is indeed quite delicious. Egg Curry is quite the best for my taste.

Gura: Is it though?

(Y/N): *Raised eyebrow* Are you doubting, Gura?

Gura: *Innocently smiles* Oh c'mon, (Y/N). I was just curious, that's all~!

(Y/N): (Women...)

Yuna: Hey (Y/N), mind if try a piece of your food?

(Y/N): Sure, go ahead.

You used a fork to stab onto the piece of your food and fed it to Yuna, but you stopped in your tracks and realized something until a light blush formed on your face.

Yuna: Eh? Why are you blushing, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): *Looks away with a light blush* Y-Yuna, just...use your own fork instead...

Yuna pauses for a moment until she realizes what the situation is when you try to share your food with her as a light blush forms on her face.

Yuna: O-Oh, right, right! Sorry about that...!

Yuna uses her own fork and takes a piece of your Curry Egg before eating.

Yuna: *Widens her eyes in surprise* Whoa...it's not too bad.

Gura: Can I have some too, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Uh, surre...

Gura: Thanks~!

Gura then uses her spoon and scoops up a bit of your food and eats it until she has a delightful nod on her face.

Gura: You're right! It tastes better than I thought!

Alphax, on the other hand, had a teasing grin on her face until she spoke telepathically at you.

Alphax: (Hey, Master~! What were you doing with Yuna...~?

(Y/N): *Embarrassed* (Alphax, shut up! I almost gave Yuna an indirect kiss!)

You replied back telepathically with embarrassment until you looked at Gura who is still delighted about the food sharing with you while Fina and Shuri (who came out of nowhere) were confused at you and Yuna's expressions.

Fina: Big Bro (Y/N), are you okay?

(Y/N): *Composed, but flustered* I-I'm fine, just something that you don't wanna know once you grow up.

Shuri: Eh? I wanna know!

Yuna: Shuri, it's not the time for that. You'll understand once you grow up, okay?

Shui: *Pouts* Okay...

Alphax: But most importantly though, why are you here? We didn't see you come in.

Shuri: I'm here with Mom!

Fina: Mom?

Everyone turned their attention to see Tiermina and Miss Milaine who approached your table.

(A/N: In the previous chapters, I kept the Mirein name throughout Season 1. In season 2, we're going to use the official translation which is Milaine.)

Yuna: The guild master of the merchant guild, Miss Milaine, too?

Milaine: We're here to eat delicious food...is what I wish we could say...

That is when Milaine and Tiermina's expressions turned into an apologetic ones after their welcomed expressions.

Tiermina: There's a little bit of a problem.

Gura: Did something happen?

(Y/N): Tell us right away.

Tiermina: Well, it looks like we won't be able to serve items that use honey soon. Including those pancakes, of course.

Yuna & Fina: Huh?

You, Gura, and Alphax were surprised at what the information had just given out.

Shuri: *Swallows the pancake* So yummy~!

Fina: Bad Shuri. Don't eat it so messily. *Wipes off Shuri's mouth with a towel*

Milaine: The price of honey was shot up recently.

Gura: Why's that?

Milaine: A problem occurred at the source of our supply, and all trade of it has stopped.

Tiermina: So we have to stop selling items that use honey or drastically increase their price.

Yuna: Stop selling or raise the price...

Tiermina: Items that use honey are really popular, so we don't want to take them off the menu. Most importantly...

Tiermina looks over to Shuri who is happily eating the pancake.

Tiermina: ...the children love them. We do appreciate (Y/N) giving us a few recipes for everyone to eat, but without honey, there are going to be problems.

Yuna: It'd be terrible if the children couldn't eat honey anymore.

Alphax: Excuse me, but what is the reason for all of the honey to be stopped or something? There must be a reason, yes?

Milaine: Monsters. They've nested near the bee tree, so the workers can't collect the honey anymore.

Yuna: Monsters nested near the beehive?

Milaine: No, the bee tree.

Yuna: Tree? I didn't mishear you?

(Y/N): Can you elaborate first, Miss Milaine? We never heard of or don't know about this bee tree.

Milaine: Very well. Hundreds of thousands of bees gather together to make a single giant bee tree.

Yuna: Hundreds...

Gura: ...of...

(Y/N): ..thousands?

Alphax: (Geez, it's the worst thing we can imagine for lots of bees surrounding the tree.)

Yuna: Even without monsters, wouldn't that be a problem for people collecting honey?

Gura: Yeah. Without a suit or something to protect them, how would they receive honey?

Milainne: *Smiles* They're a very docile species. So you shouldn't worry about protection against bees.

(Y/N): I see. However, what kind of monster is bothering them?

Milaine: The bee tree's keeper said they were orcs. They posted a request at the adventurer's guild, but who knows when someone will take care of it?

Yuna: Orcs, huh? Okay then! Let's go, you guys!

You, Yuna, Alphax, and Gura got off your seats which surprised the group.

Yuna: We'll go ask about it at the adventurer's guild.

(Y/N): After that, *Cracks knuckles* we can go beat up those orcs!

Gura: *Pumps her right fist* Heck yeah!

Alphax: *Nods with a smile* Agreed.

That is when Milaine lets out a giggle before saying...

Milaine: I thought you people would say that~!

Yuna: Was that on purpose?

Milaine: *Still smiles* What? What are you talking about?

Yuna: *Sigh* We'll be heading out for a bit, Fina.

Fina: O-Oh, sure.

-At the Adventurer's Guild-

Helen: Hunting the monsters near the bee tree? No one has taken that quest yet.

(Y/N): That's surprising. There are a lot of adventurers here.

Helen: About that. After some scouting, we found out that it was a horde of orcs instead of individuals around the tree bee.

Yuna: A horde of them? (Y/N), Gura, Alphax, let's go beat 'em up.

(Y/N)/Alphax/Gura: Right!

-Time Skip-

Later, all of you arrived at the location of where the Bear Tree was...

Alphax: This must be the Bee Tree.

Gura: Yeah. And you can hear the sounds of bees swarming around the tree...

(Y/N): And hearing those buzzing noises makes my skin crawl.

Yuna: Look ahead of us.

Everyone looked to see a bunch of Orcs gathering around hogging all the honey on the Bear Tree.

That is when Kumayuru and Kumakyu let out distressed cries which caught everyone's attention until you, Gura, and Yuna looked to where Kumayuru and Kumakyu were looking.

To your surprise, there were two bears trying to attack the orcs...

Yuna: Huh?! Moving rocks?!

Alphax: *Sweatdrops* Yuna, they're bears...

Yuna: *Shocked* Bears from this world? Real ones?! No, Kumayuru and Kumakyu are real, too! Bears?! Real bears?!

Gura then begins to grab Yuna's body and shakes her as a way to snap her out of it.

Gura: Yuna, get a hold of yourself! This is no time for a bear dilemma!

(Y/N): And besides, those bears are getting weaker...

However, the two bears continue to fight back despite their weakened bodies, but they get whacked away by one of the orcs who is holding a big club until the three orcs begin to beat down the weakened bears.

Yuna: Are they fighting for territory near the bee tree?

Kumayuru and Kumakyu let out their distressed cries as they all turned to Yuna as if they needed her to do something.

Yuna: *Hesitant* Well, I'd like to help the bears, too. But depending on the situation, we might have to fight the bears, too.

Alphax: That sounds possible, but we can't know for sure if they're deemed a threat once we're done dealing with the orcs.

Gura: And besides, we can assume those bears guarding the bee tree, but those orcs came along and beat them down.

That is when your right ear hears something and it has the sound of small footsteps until all of you see two small brown bear cubs protecting their parents.

Yuna: A baby bear?!

That is when one of the orcs would kick one of the brown bear cubs until something would trigger within you which is your tragic past and felt like it was PTSD.

However, you let out a deep exhale to suppress your emotions until you summoned out your two sickles from your palms and began to use your skill, "The Whistle of Death", onto the Orcs who were attacking the helpless bears as they all turned their attention towards you and they all had fearful looks in their eyes. Yuna, Gura, Alphax, Kumakyu, Kumayuru took notice and felt the slight anger in your eyes as they would see that your usual (E/C) turned into glowing red eyes, indicating that Death is coming out.

Gura: *Concerned* (Y-Y/N)...are you okay?

(Y/N): *Turns to Yuna and the others with a composed expression* Just let me handle this.

You begin to menacingly approach the Orcs who are still scared of you until you speak with calm, yet aggression in your voice.

(Y/N): You dare hurt those bears? I'll show you no mercy.

That is when the Orcs force themselves to attack you while being scared. However, they all slowly stopped in their tracks and you were seen at the other side of with your right knee on the ground and your arms wide open with your sickles out. The Orcs who were out to get you and everyone else all slowly fell to the floor, indicating that they were killed by you in a blink of an eye.

You turned around to face the group until your red glowing eyes reverted back to your usual (E/C) as you withdrew your sickles away in thin air.

(Y/N): Whew...that should take care of things.

Yuna: *Runs up to you* Thanks (Y/N), but...what the heck was that? You looked pissed all of a sudden.

(Y/N): *Apologetic* Sorry, I got a small PTSD when those orcs hurt those bears. *Reassuring* But I'll be fine, gotta keep my emotions in check.

Alphax: *Worried* Master...

(Y/N): Alphax, I'll handle it. Don't worry too much about it. I can't be a burden to you guys if I let my vulnerability get the best of me in this situation.

Alphax, Yuna, and Gura exchanged worried glances with each other until you turned your attention back to the bears.

(Y/N): I must help them.

You ran up to the two injured bears and used your skill "Healing Touch" on them to restore their well-being.

(Y/N): Are you well? I healed your wounds, so you don't have to worry about the orcs. Just take it easy, okay?

That is when you felt something on your feet until you looked down and saw the bear cubs as they rubbed their paws on you as if to show their gratitude.

Yuna: *Smiles* Hehe, I can tell they're thanking you, (Y/N)~!

(Y/N): *Nods with a smile* Yeah. I mean, it's quite weird for a wolf to save a bear family. Wildlife itself can be complicated sometimes, but I can't blame mother nature for that.

Gura: *Lighthearted Chuckle* Haha, it sure can be.

Alphax: Aside from the mess, what should we do with all this stuff?

Yuna: Excuse me. Um...Miss Bear and Mister Bear? Can you stay away from the humans that come to gather honey here? Not that you understand what I'm saying.

That is when the two bear cubs start walking towards the bee tree and take out the honey from the tree as they give it towards you, Alphax, Gura, and Yuna.

Gura: Whoa, they're giving us the honey!

Yuna: H-Hang on a second...!

-Time Skip-

(Y/N): So yeah, that's about it. The bears gave us honey to take care of the monsters.

Helen: I see. Bears...

Yuna: In all honesty, I don't really hunt the bears. (Y/N), on the other hand, took care of the orcs for us before we could take action.

Helen: It can't be helped. Asking Yuna to hunt down bears is like asking her to destroy herself.

Yuna: *Baffled* (Huh? Did I look that serious?!)

Gura: *Deadpanned* (I mean, the irony itself is something else, but that's just the part wildlife. You become the king of the jungle or fall prey to the monsters.)

(Y/N): *Also deadpanned* (It's not that surprising. Alphax and I hunted down wolves despite us being wolves. We can mark our own territory and attack other packs of wolves...)

Alphax: *Replies back telepathically* (Yup.)

That is when the man began speaking up to you five.

Man: You hunted the bears?!

Helen: Mister Rem...

The man known as "Rem" begins to speak up after what he had just heard and he has an angry look on his face.

Rem: How terrible. They just had cubs!

Alphax: Who is this, Miss Helen?

Helen: Oh, yes. Mister Rem here is the one who posted the quest. He's the keeper of the bee tree.

Rem: I came to see if anyone took care of my request. I can't believe the bears got hurt, too.

Gura: *Realizes* Oh uh...I think you misunderstood the situation, mister.

-Very Short Time Skip-

Rem: I'm sorry, I couldn't help overhearing about the bears...

Yuna: You knew that the bears were living there?

Rem: Yes. They've saved us from monsters many times. In exchange for their protection while we tend to the flowers, we turn a blind eye when they take some honey. It's a symbiotic relationship.

Helen: Please inform us about things like that from the beginning! The bears might have been hunted down along with the orcs!

Rem: *Apologetic* I'm sorry. I was worried that the bears would be hunted down if our lord found out about them.

(Y/N): You mean Cliff Foschurose? What does it have to do with him about the bee tree?

Helen: *Shakes her head* You guys are the only people who can speak about our local lord so casually. Bee trees are exceedingly rare, and the responsibility of the feudal lord who owns the land.

Rem: Yes. I was just hired as a keeper. Our lord has the final say on everything.

That's when an idea pops into Yuna's head.

Yuna: Oh, that's right! Cliff owes us a lot of favors, so bring our name up when you explain the situation.

Both Helen and Rem were shocked at Yuna's idea.

Helenn: To even say Lord Cliff owes you favors...You guys are so...

Yuna: In exchange, please let those bears live peacefully at the bee tree.

Rem: Ah! Yes, of course! Thank you so much, Miss Bear!

Yuna simply smiles back in response after hearing Rem's gratitude.

Gura: *Smiles* (Heh, there she goes.)

Morin: I'm so glad that the price of honey has gone down again.

Karin: We can keep the customers happy! *Smiles Happily* You guys saved us again.

(Y/N): With all due respect, we just want to eat good things as part of our lives *Looks at Gura, Yuna, and Alphax* isn't that right, you three?

Yuna: *Smiles* Same mindset, (Y/N).

Gura: *Grins with her shark tail wagging* Agreed!

Alphax: *Smirks* Heh, of course.

Yuna: So, Miss Morin, please continue making our delicious bread and food.

Morin: Of course. Leave it to me. Enjoy.

Morin and Karin walk away, leaving you and the group by yourselves.

Fina: You guys are amazing.

Gura: *Smiles* Thanks, Fina. It means a lot to us.

Fina: *Nods* Mm!

(Y/N): Let's not get ahead of ourselves due to our fame in helping people.

Yuna: *Sarcastic* Sure thing, Dad.

Everyone lets out a lighthearted laughter until an entrance door starts to open.

???: Sorry to intrude during closing hours.

A familiar voice spoke up which is none other than Cliff Foschurose and Noir Foschurose themselves.

Cliff: I was hoping that Yuna and her friends were here...

Noi: I found you, Miss Yuna! Miss Alphax! Miss Gura! And Mister (Y/N)!

Yuna: Huh? N-Noa?!

Fina: L-Lady Noir?

Noir then begins to wrap her arms around Yuna.

Noir: You're so fluffy, Miss Yuna! *Looks over to Fina* Nice to see you, Fina! Goodness! Please come visit my home occasionally!

Fina: *Nervous* Th-That's a bit...

That is when Noir lands her eyes on the bear pancake on the table.

Noir: Could this be the new menu item, honey-soaked bear pancakes?! This loveliness! Truly bear-like!

That is when Noir would also look at your food in curiosity.

Noir: Ooh, what is this, Mister (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Ah, that's called a Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Bake.

Noir: Really? What does it taste like?

(Y/N): It's quite tasty.

Noir: Can I try it? Pretty please~?

(Y/N): Uh...

You looked up at Cliff Foschurose as he gave you a nod of approval until you let out a nervous laugh before saying...

(Y/N): S-Sure. Here you go, kid.

You then take one of the Grilled Cheeses and use an extra fork before feeding it into Noir's open wide mouth. Noir then closes her mouth until you pull the fork out from her mouth as she begins chewing on the small piece of the Cowboy Steak before swallowing it.

Alphax: So, how does it taste, kiddo?

That is when a delightful expression appeared on her face until she said...

Noir: Mm~! It tastes amazing! I haven't got the chance to taste Miss Yuna's bear pancakes though, but thanks for the grilled cheese, Mister (Y/N)!

(Y/N): *Nervous* Ehehe...y-you're welcome, kid.

Yuna: Wait, don't you wanna try the new bear pancakes? I'll tell Miss Morin to make you one.

Noir: Really?! Thank you so much, Miss Yuna!

Cliff: Noa. Didn't you promise me that you wouldn't bother Yuna, her friends, and me if you came along?

(Y/N): *Deadpanned * (Didn't you just give me a nod of approval before I fed her?)

Noir: That's right. Then...*Ran up to Fina* Fina, let's not bother their conversation and go over there. *Gently grabs Fina's hands*

Fina: Huh? L-Lady Noa?!

Noir: *Leans closer into Fina's left ear* I had something to discuss with you regarding the fan club, Fina.

Fina: *Surprised* Um, o-okay.

Noir: Our plans are coming along!

And just like that, both Noir and Fina went off to do their own thing.

Cliff: Sorry for the noise.

Yuna: *Smiles* Well, we don't mind.

Gura: *Nods* Yup. Anyways, you said that you want to talk to us, right? Spill the beans~!

Alphax: *Gentle Tone* Be patient now, Gura.

Back to the two young girls, both of them were reading a letter that was sent by Misa from the Royal Capital.

Noir: Yes. She is looking forward to our fan club meeting. So, please report about the bee tree, fan club vice president!

Yuna: (She's a lot more elusive to us than Cliff...She's not a bad person though.)

Cliff: Sorry for asking this, but could you visit the royal capital?

Yuna: (Well, I did finish the next picture book.) Sure. I want to treat them to our food, too.

Cliff: *Smiles* You're a great help.

(Y/N): Oh, and by the way, we heard a story from Mister Rem himself. You allowed the bears to live near the bee tree, correct?

Yuna: We should be thanking you, Cliff.

Cliff: Oh, that was nothing compared to the stress your tunnel caused me.

Alphax: *Raised eyebrow* You're not joking, are you?

Cliff: *Grins mischievously* Hehe, you got me there. Well, the tunnel will be officially open to the public soon. Things will become even busier.

Yuna: Really? That means Miss Anz will be opening a restaurant here soon. Mm~! I can't wait!

Gura: Yeah. It's been a couple of days since the last time we ate the Wa's food.

(Y/N): *Nods* Ageed.

And now, the three of you arrived back into the Royal Capital to greet Princess Flora.

Flora: Miss Bear! Miss Shark! Mister Wolf!

Yuna: Hello, Princess Flora.

Flora runs up to you three and she gives Yuna a hug.

(Y/N): We're back again, kiddo.

Gura: *Grins* Did 'ya miss us?

Flora: *Nods with a smile* Mm! I do miss you!

Ellalauara: *Smiles* Oh my, You must really love them, Princess Flora.

???: Oh, my! Those three children are indeed animals.

(Y/N): (Oh? Who is this woman next to the King?)

King: Right? It's just as I said.

Yuna: Hey, why are the king and...

Flora: *Runs up to her mother and hugs her* It's mother!

Kita: Nice to meet you three. My name is Kita. I've heard a lot about you from His Majesty and my child.

Yuna: I'm Yuna.

(Y/N): Greetings. I'm (Y/N) (L/N).

Gura: *Raises her hand* Gawr Gura here!

Ellalaura: *Playful* I'm Ellalaura~!

Yuna quickly covered her mouth after she got annoyed at Ellalaura.

Kita: Flora always tells me that Miss Bear and Miss Shark are very cute, while Mister Wolf is very cool. Hehe~! I see that it's true.

Flora: Cute and Cool!

Yuna bashfully hides behind your back. You let out a lighthearted chuckle. Gura puts up a sweet smile on her face.

-At Flora's Room-

Yuna: Here you go, Princess Flora.

Yuna then magically summons out the Bear Pancakes and other goodies for Flora to eat.

Flora: Wow! Bears!

Yuna: This is our new menu item, honey-soaked bear pancakes. It's delicious.

Flora: *Looks at the Egg Curry that is next to the Bear Pancake* And what's this?

(Y/N): That's one of the recipes I made (not really). It's called Egg Curry. You should try it out, kiddo.

Flora: Thank you for the food!

Flora then scoops the bear pudding first using a fork as she chews for a few moments until she makes a delightful expression.

Flora: Yummy~! I'll try this one next!

Flora then scoops a little bit of the Egg Curry as she chews for a few moments again until she makes the same delightful expression.

Flora: Ooh, It's not too bad!

King: This is delicious, but is there no pudding?

Kita: Don't be rude, Your Majesty. However, it's true I still can't forget the flavor of the pudding from the banquet.

King: My chef could make it and I would be able to eat it every day if I had the recipe.

Gura: *Smiles awkwardly* (Oh wow, even the King himself likes sweets.)

Kita: So true...

Flora: Pudding? I love it, too!

(Y/N): Oh, *Nods* sure.

Yuna: Nice. *Turns to the royal family* But please don't tell other people.

King: Truly? I promise you.

Gura: Oh, and don't forget. You can't eat more than just one pudding. You'll have bad stomachaches from too much sweetness.

Everyone chuckled at Gura's statement, but it was clearly true.

(Y/N): Hey Flora, Yuna's got a surprise for 'ya.

Flora: A surprise?

(Y/N): *Nods* Yes.

Yuna: Here you go.

Yuna then magically summons out the bear book picture on the dining table.

Flora: A bear picture book! *Gets off her chair* Mother! It's a bear picture book!

Kita: Is this the continuation of the picture book Flora loves to read?

Yuna: Princess Flora said she wanted to read more, so...

Ellalaura: Yuna, can I make copies of this picture book?

Yuna: Huh?

Ellalaura: Wouldn't Princess Flora be said if this book accidentally got destroyed? If we had copies, she could always carry them around with her.

Yuna: Well, yeah, that's true.

Ellalura: If I make copies, can I pass them out to people who want them?

Yuna: Yeah. Wait, what?!

Ellalaura: Actually, a lot of officials and servants want to read your picture books to their children.

Yuna: Huh?

Ellalaura: Princess Flora goes around reading her picture book everywhere she goes. Right now, there are a lot of fans of your picture book within the castle.

Yuna: It's already known to others?! But that's pretty embarrassing...

(Y/N): *Chuckles* My, my, Yuna. You're becoming an Author of making picture books.

Yuna: (Y/N), please don't tease me...

Gura: *Giggles* We get it, Yuna, but seriously though, you'd become the best storyteller for kids~! Besides, you included me and (Y/N) in your picture book stories which makes you the best bear girl in the whole world~!

Ellalaura: See? Even (Y/N) and Gura appreciate and are supportive of your hard work. Could we make copies of it, please?

King: I'd like to ask as well.

Kita: I, as well.

Yuna: I dunno...

Yuna looks over to Flora and sees that she's happy to read the new picture book that she was given.

Yuna: (She's so absorbed in my picture book.)

Yuna then looks over to you and Gura and sees the supportive smiles along with a nod as if to say "Do it, Yuna. We'll be there for you", and this made Yuna convinced.

Yuna: Alright. Please only pass it around within the castle.

King: *Nods* I appreciate it. Ellalaura, please take care of it.

Ellalaura: Yes, Your Majesty. I'll send you a bunch of copies once I'm done, Yuna.

Yuna: Yeah. Thanks, hehe...

Ellalaura: Thank you for the pudding recipe, Yuna. Thank you for the new recipes, (Y/N).

(Y/N): *Nod* Yes, yes.

Yuna: We didn't think that the head chef would be that thankful.

Ellalauara: It's the head chef's job to make food that the royal family enjoys. The head chef was really moved by the pudding during the banquet.

(Y/N): He's quite fascinated nonetheless.

Ellalaura: *Nods* Indeed. *Clasps her hands* Now that all of that is finished, I have something personal to talk to you about.

Gura: Well, Cliff did inform us beforehand because of the letter.

Ellalaura giggles while smiling as if she has some hidden intentions behind it.

Ellalurra: I'd like to request the adventurers Yuna, (Y/N) (L/N), and Gawr Gura guard the students of the royal capital academy.

Yuna: Guard the students?

(Y/N): For what reason?

Ellalura: The top students of the academy are going outside of the royal capital for some hands-on training. They'll be traveling to a nearby village and back. During their trip, they'll learn the hardship of travel, the difficulties of camping, and how to trust their fellow students and guardians.

You, Gura, and Yuna looked at each other after hearing the information from Ellalura.

Gura: But isn't the job supposed to be guardians as adults? So, why ask us?

Ellalaura: I run various errands for the academy

(Y/N): (Bruh...)

Yuna: *Deadpanned* (Didn't you say you ran various errands for the castle before?!)

Ellalaura: Well, aren't the students of the academy noble children? We can't find any good adventurers to guard the children since a lot of them think they're rude and naive. You three are close to their age and plenty strong for the job.

Yuna: Um...(Y/N), can you do the talking first? *Whispers to his ear* It'll be too difficult for a shut-in like me who stopped going to school. You are the only one who enrolled in school before we got separated *Pulls away*.

(Y/N: *Sigh* Fine. In school, Gura and I have seen mature students helping the other students who are naive regardless of age and gender. So, it's quite common you'd see nowadays during school life. Gura and I became part of it as well.

Gura: *Nods* (Y/N)'s right. If these noble students are naive to the outside world, we can help~!

Ellalura: *Smiles* I'm glad to hear you and Gura have experiences~! *Looks at Yuna* What about you, Yuna? Do you not have an experience like these two?

Yuna: *Nervous* U-Um...uh...

You then stepped in to defend her by saying...

(Y/N): There's no need for that, Ellalaura. Yuna's quite the busy girl for a while now, but...!

Ellalura and Yuna tilted their head sideways before you continued to speak up...

(Y/N): Even if she has no experience, Gura and I can help her.

Yuna: *Shocked* Eh?! N-No, wait!

Gura: Of course~! We'll be there to help!

Yuna: *Waves her hands in panic* Wait! Stop, you two!

Ellalaura: *Smiles sweetly* I see. Thank you very much~!

Yuna: Now, hang on, you guys! I am actually busy because at the restaurant...(In order to eat delicious things,) I need to check in regularly. At the orphanage...(To play with the kids,). I'm busy with regular inspections.

Gura: *Smiles wryly* Yuna, are you forgetting that we have other employees to work on the business we have created which are both the Bear Haven and the selling of the eggs on the orphanage?

Ellalaura: *Nods* That's right. I think their names were Ms. Morin, Miss Karin, and Ms. Tiermina.

(Y/N): That is correct.

Yuna: *Internally Frustrated* (Dammit! Why?!)

Ellalaura: Don't worry. I'll make sure to assign you three to the same group as my daughter.

Yuna: By daughter, you mean Shia?

Ellalaura: Yes. When I told her that you three might become the guardians...

-Flashback-

Shia: I want to show Mister (Y/N) and his friends that I've gotten grown stronger!

-Flashback End-

Ellalaura: She started throwing herself into her training even harder than before.

(Y/N): I see. The girl's been training, huh? *Smiles* That's what I like about her after our first encounter, hehe~!

That is when you felt the piercing stares coming from Yuna and Gura which made you feel a bit flinched on the inside.

Ellalaura: Of course, we'll pay you, too. And how about I owe you three for something? My favors are much more valuable than Cliff's.

You then looked back at Yuna and Gura. Gura nodded with a smile as if she was ready to accept the job while Yuna let out a sigh before reluctantly saying...

Yuna: Alright. But only this one time.

Ellalaura: Thank you. I owe you three.

-Time Skip-

After the agreement, the three of you finally headed back home to Crimonia...

Gura: We're back~!

Fina: Ah, it's you guys!

(Y/N): Fina? Thought you'd be heading back home after finishing your work.

Fina: But I still wanted to tell you after I finished my work, you three.

Yuna: I'm glad we didn't stay overnight at the royal capital and used the Bear Transfer Gate.

Fina: Oh! Shoot. I forgot something important. Welcome home, you three~! *Smiles sweetly*

(Y/N): *Nods* Appreciate that, kiddo.

Yuna: *Nods* Yeah, we're home.

Gura: *Grins* Now then, let's get something to eat~!

Everyone: Yeah~!
