"This is taking too long." Yanli says.

"Three... two..." Death mutters.

I burst out of the water gasping in the air.

"One." Death says. 

I breathe in the air. I push my hair out of my face. 

"Wei Ying!" Lan Zhan yells.

He reaches out his hands. I take it. He helps pull me out of the water. I feel alive, but still in pain. I fall into his arms. 

"He's alive, but not well." Death says.

He looks at me.

"I broke the rules. She will not be pleased, but I don't really give a fuck." He smiles at me.

"Thanks." I say.

Yanli, Jiang Cheng, Wei Ning, all hug me. Ow. 

"Guys, I'm still half dead." I say.

"I will seek you out later. You only get one freebie." Death walks off.

I then start to shiver.

"Uh guys? I'm freezing." I grip my arms.

Lan Zhan takes me. I lean on him. I could barely walk. I'm depending on his strength. I look at him.

"Thanks for saving me." I say.

He turns to me. He grabs my waist. Okay, what is happening? He then kisses me. A full on, on the lips kiss. I move my wet hand up him. Feels right. He wraps his arms around me. Finally there's no pain. Only love.
