I shoot out more binding around his arm. He looks at me. 

"You're not going anywhere." I say. 

Soldiers and both clan leaders surround him. Jiang Cheng and Yanli come to us. I see Kai Long wrapped in the whip.

"What are you going to do? You can't kill me, you realize that?" He asks.

"We can make sure you never get out of our sight." Clan Leader Nie says.

"You know I do not fear death exactly. I fear being imprisoned." He looks at me.

His eyes generally look emotional. I don't know what's going to happen.

"Sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good. I assure you the outcome will be better for the both of us." He says.

What? I'm so confused. I have a bad feeling. I watch him create a blade of shadow. Oh-no. He starts cutting his arm. Pain flashes in my arm. Blood stains my shirt. I let out a scream. I fall to my knees. I grip my arm. Of all my painful experiences this has to be in the top five. Lan Zhan charges. I watch as future me's arm comes off and so does my arm. I grip the blood and I scream in pain. Yanli grabs me. 

He breaks the binding. Kai Long breaks free and shoots into the sky. 

"Seems I'll have to get you later." He says.

"Fuck...you." I say with clench teeth.
