I'm running through the woods. I'm excited and yet fearful. I feel the wind in my hair. I feel the sun on my back. It's warm and soothing. I hear the sound of my mother's voice. I turn. I see her with open arms. 

"Wei Wuxian!" She calls.

Her voice is sweet. Like a melody you hear that lulls you to sleep. Her smile is as beautiful as cherry blossoms and so pink as them. I cannot see her full face. Maybe it's because I am too far away. I look at her.

I then run to her. I want to feel her embrace. I want to smile at her.  I want to feel her love like how I feel the sun on my back. I run and hug her. It's everything I've ever wanted. Warm like the sun. Sweet as honey. 

Then a cold feeling lingers. A cold feeling like a snake wraps around me. The embrace doesn't feel as warm anymore. I feel cold like ice. I can feel her hands digging way to deep. I then feel something dripping on me. It's not water. It's not salvia. It's thicker and feels way darker. 

I look at what it is. Blood. I jump. I see her hands drip with blood. It's terrifying. I see claw marks forming in blood on her clothes. I then look up. I see her face covered in blood and scars. Her eyes cry red tears. I push away from her.

"Stupid boy. You killed me." She mutters in a low raspy voice. 

My heart races. My body freezes like river in the winter. I see her walking like a zombie. She reaches her dismantled arms to me. I back away shivering. It feels like I've just been thrown in an ice water. I then see a shadow behind her. 

It's big and black. Its eyes were red like her blood. It snarls and it shows its white glistening teeth. They were sharp like swords. It lets out a roar. It smells awful like rotting fish flesh. I thought of nothing other than running. I run through the woods. I run through the grass. I just have to get away.
