He circles me. He creates a mirror made of shadow in front of me. He pushes me forward.

I put my hand to the mirror.

He grabs my hand and shows me his hand.

He comes close to my face. His mouth is near my ear.

I grip my ears. Shut up. Please shut up.

He pushes me down. I look at myself in the shadow mirror. I see him behind me. I see him.

The shadows scream that question over and over again. I grip my head. Lan Zhan tries to enter but the shadows stop him. I can't focus. I can't focus on anything. Future me lifts my head up. He points to Jiang Cheng and Yanli. Then the shadow mirror turns into Lotus Pier covered in blood like how we found it.

Tears began to slide down my face. He lifts me up. He wraps his arms around me in a not-so sweet hug.
