"How naive I remember being. How naive you are. I am your future self. Are you that stupid?" He ask.

Lan Zhan pushes him. He flies back and sits on his throne.

"I'm trying to save you from the worst people in your life. These three." He gestures. 

He glares at them. He then turns to Lan Zhan.

"You disappointed me in the future for twenty-five years. Halfway through my banishment." He says.

"What did I do to you?" He asks. 

"It's not what you did that pisses me off. It's what you didn't do. You didn't even give two fucks about me. You didn't even come look for me." He hisses.

He sits up. I can feel his anger. He's full of it. His anger is making my skin prickle. The hairs on me are standing up straight. He resents them. I can understand how he feels because he is me. I am him. I almost want to throw up knowing this is what I become.

"Of course having this much power, there's a problem. I always have death on my tail." He flies over.

I duck behind Lan Zhan. This is terrifying. I'm more scared of him than I am afraid of dogs. He makes me sick and also sad. His entire story was making my eyes swell. Tears slid down my face. He pushes Lan Zhan away. Wow he swatted him like a fly. He then pushes me into a corner.

"I am here to conquer immortality. Then I will conquer the world." He says.

"Why?!" Yanli asks.

He turns to Yanli.

"Because sometimes the world doesn't need light. It needs darkness. Sometimes it takes a monster to kill a monster." He points at her.

I charge at him. I don't know what I'm thinking. Kai Long pushes me off. I slam into the floor.

"Join me. Let us become one." He offers me his hand. 

I spit in it. He draws back. He lets out an angry breath.
