After the battle with Gaea and the Giants ended, Percy and Annabeth decided to go to a high school together and try to act like a normal couple. Percy joined the swim team while Annabeth joined the schools academic decathlon team.
   One afternoon Annabeth's academic decathlon practice ended early so she decided to go watch Percy's swim practice. Right as she got there the coach was giving them a water break. Annabeth watched as Percy and everyone got out of the pool and she immediately saw all of the girls swarm towards Percy. She watched as he gently tried to brush them away but these girls were persistent. Annabeth heard then asking why he wouldn't date then but Percy didn't respond; right as he was about to, he caught Annabeth's gaze. His eyes immediately lit up, he waved, and quickly walked towards her. After embracing her in a wet hug, that she protested at first, he gave her a kiss and said
   "Hey wise girl, great to see you here."
