Felix glanced at his clock on his bedside drawer as he sighed. 05:37. Turning, sighing, staring at the ceiling, repeat. That's how his whole night was spent. He couldn't decide whether he should tell Chan or not. He also couldn't make himself reach Hyunjin.

But,

No.

He should tell Hyunjin.

Felix grabbed his phone, frowning, he tapped on Hyunjin's contact and waited. No. No answer. He tried again. No respond. But it should be solved somehow right?

"Hello, Chan" He greeted as soon as Chan picked up his call. A cough was heard before the elder's voice.

"Felix? Why this early?"

Hot air escaped the blonde's lips before made himself to talk. "I have something important to tell you"

"About what?"

"The," Felix stared at his hands. "Killer, actually"

"Yeah, go on"

"How should I say it?" The younger's eyebrows knitted together as he curled his fingers into a fist.

"It's okay Felix. I believe you. Go on, I'm all ears"

The elder's warm voice relaxed Felix, as he steadied himself. Another sigh. "I doubt... That it's Hyunjin"

"Hyunjin?!"

"Yeah"

Felix could swear he saw Chan rubbing his face out of stress. "What made you think like that?"

"I-I saw him driving his bike away from the alley yesterday. That was why I checked their and found.... Min"

"Are you hundred percent positive Lix?"

"I'm not though. He's not a creep like that. I might be wrong"

"Let's see Lix," A sigh out of Chan. "We don't have any other culprits. We were actually wanting to interrogate you since you were at the crime scene. You can give a statement here. So if you're okay, could you come here?"

"I will"

Felix ended the call, tears prying inside his eyes. A sudden ringing of the phone drew his attention.

An unknown number.

He answered it nonetheless. "Who's this?"

A panting was heard, sending goosebumps through the boy's body. "Li-Lix- ,"

Beep, beep, bee-.

The call was cut. With trembling hands, Felix called the mysterious number again, only to receive no respond.

"Dumb middle schoolers"

Felix sighed as he got out of the interrogation room along with Chan. The sun was already setting. Chan turned towards Felix whoe was on his left. "We have no choice but to arrest him Lix"
He started.

"I know" Felix sighed, darting his gaze towards the floor. "But, what if I was wrong?"

As they were on their way to the office, they were stopped by Changbin who was rushing towards them. "Chan!" He yelled, as he approached the two.

"Yes?" Chan answered.

Changbin took a deep breath. "Hyeji just called"

"Suddenly?"

"They've found Hyunjin's body"

Body? Felix's eyes went wide as realization hit him. He covered his mouth which was open wide.

"He's dead?!" Chan almost yelled.

"According to Hyeji, he's been killed behind a nightclub around today dawn"

That wasn't some dumb middle schoolers. Yes idiot. How the fuck they would have known your name? It was Hyunjin. Felix supported himself onto the wall beside him with his left hand.

Chan cursed under his breath. He covered his eyes with his hands. Oh, yes, if he didn't, how could he cover his tears? He turned his head away, lowering his black cap.

"Are you okay with going home alone? Lix. "

Felix could tell, Chan was trying his best to hide his slightly red eyes and his slightly trembling voice. "Y-yeah"

Chan sniffled before turning towards the younger. He embraced Felix into a hug. Felix broke down in tears, tightening the hug, trembling. Chan caressed his back as he pulled away. "I'm really sorry Lix, this... This whole thing is messed up. I-I'll reach you when I can. Okay?" He gripped the blonde's shoulders. "Be careful on your way home" Chan said softly, before leaving with Changbin.

A/N: Guess who's back! Girly is back after ghosting away for like 2 months!!! This haven't reached anyone much so yeah, I hope there's no one to be waiting or to be angry with me. Haha.
