"It's been already two days Chan! We still couldn't find him!" Peter said, stressfully. "What if he had been killed by now? He has enough time for it"

"Don't say that Jisung. We have to find him. There are already four victims. We can't add another one" Chan replied.

A sudden knock on their office door was heard, interrupting their conversation. "Come in" Chan said before Changbin barged in through the door he opened. He stopped as he tried to catch his breath.

"Woah, what happened?" Jisung asked, confused.

"They've found him"

"What!? Where? Is he alive?" Chan questioned, shocked to hear the news.

"Sadly, no. His dead body was found and we have to go for the investigation" Changbin replied, his breathing now stable.

Chan sighed. "This is getting out of control! What would I say to the people? Huh?! They're already scared. What would the chief say?! It's already been a month. Yet we still haven't made any progress. I'm so sick of this!" He yelled, his face now red with anger.

"It's okay Chan, we'll figure it out. Calm down. Let's just go now" Jisung said, leading the way.

Chan and the detectives arrived at the dark alley where the body had been found. Chan got his notebook as he got near the corpse and leaned down.

"He had been stabbed by a knife and the throat had been slit. Additionally, his legs were crushed by something heavy like a metal rod, compared to other victims" Hyeji - a lady police officer - explained to Chan, as she approached him.

"No any other harms?" Chan asked as he took some notes.

"Umm.. Specifically no. His knees have been scratched maybe because of a fall"

Chan sighed. "No evidence this time too, right?"

"Yeah, There are no CCTV cameras around here too. So, it's complicated"

"I fucking hate this!"

"Don't worry Chan, he's a serial killer. Not a ghost or something. He should be around here. We can catch him. Just don't give up" Hyeji said, patting Chan's shoulder.

"I guess... I'll get going then. I need to start all over"

"I'll make sure to send the autopsy records"

Chan nodded, before getting into the car with Jisung and Changbin and driving off.
