Chapter 18

"Hey.. You good bud?"(Ben)

He asked before he felt something pricking into his neck. He turned his head a second later to see an empty syringe.. a mysterious fluid had just been injected into him

"Ah fuck not again."(Ben)

He said as he felt his consciousness slipping away from him

John growled, literally growled

"YOU FILTHY FUCKING BASTARDS! WHAT DID YOU JUST DO!"(John)

He screamed as he held the man up by the collar of his shirt.. he had a semi-familiar face, like he had seen him around school somewhere.. but that was crazy.

"Well let's just say.. Bye bye ability."(???)

"..Wait what?"(Sera)

"Huh- forgot you were here for a second."(???)

So did the author

John paled visibly

"You.. that's impossible!"(John)

He said as he formed a knife with the ability he had copied earlier, holding it to the man's throat and he simply laughed

"You think I value my life?"(???)

"God you sound like me."(John)

"..are you okay?"(???)

"Now you sound like my therapist!"(John)

"I'm so confus-"(Sera)

She cut herself off when she realized something

"Our abilities are back at full power!"(Sera)

"Finally."(John)

He mumbled as 7 black glowing knives appeared in the air, flying through and impaling themselves in the wheels of the truck that was trying to escape

"I never said you could leave!"(John)

He said with a scowl

"Yeah.. we gotta talk about that shit man-"(Ben)

"Your alive?!"(John)

"Uhh.. Yeah? Dude I've been drugged with far worse than whatever the hell that was!"(Ben)

"...Out of curiosity, what have you been drugged with?"(Sera)

"Damn, didn't take you for the drug type. Ugh- it'd be easier to tell you what I haven't been drugged with- So many kidnapping attempts."(Ben)

"Who would want you?"(Sera)

"Rude. I thought we were besties."(Ben)

"Yeah that was uncalled for."(John)

"..So.. you want me to throw these guys in a prison I own considering the authorities are almost definetely behind this attack?"(Ben)

"You have a prison? I was just gonna say we kil- I mean- uhh call the headmaster-!"(John)

"Nah I can probably get it up and going.. if I have the right resources- I'm gonna need to stop at a scrapyard- can we keep these guys like- locked up in a closet or something for an hour or so?"(Ben)

"..Why do you have a prison?!"(Sera)

"Dang, don't you ever get tired of having common sense?"(Ben)

"One of us has to."(Sera)
