"He's a good person? Why do you ask?"(Ben)

"...No- No he isn't."(Claire)

"What are you talking about?"(Ben)

"He- He hasn't beaten you up?"(Claire)

"No? I don't think he could actually- He doesn't have an ability."(Ben)

Elaine gasped when she looked at Arlo. He was laying in a pool of his own blood, Meili and Ventus were also in similarly poor states, Arlo was the only one conscious however.. What kind of Monster could've done this? To Arlo nonetheless! The defense king! They must've broken his barrier- but even then his passive would stop most damage..

"Please don't hurt me-"(John)

John took a deep breath, clenching the sink hard as he stared into his eyes.. He seemed to be terrified of himself. His hair was ungelled and his eyes were blazing. But.. The real John was normal- Drowned in gel and slightly bloody- Upon closer inspection his reflection was grinning and wore a blue hoodie, and was incredibly shorter than him. John collapsed to the floor

The door slammed open, a worried looking Ben rushing inside and looking at the unconscious boy on the ground

"John? Dude get up!"(Ben)

He said as he shook his friend lightly, smacking him in the face a few times

"Fuck.. Uhh.. I need to call doc!"(Ben)

"Hello? Your interupting my date, this better be good."(Doc)

"Hey Doc! It's Ben, Joh-"(Ben)

BEEEEEP

"Goddamn it! Alright.. uh.."(Ben)

He put two fingers to John's neck

"Thank god."(Ben)

He mumbled to himself as he picked John up slowly

"...Are there any hospitals near here? Hey siri!"(Ben)

"..Where am I?"(John)

"Your awake! I found you knocked out in the bathroom! Were you doing drugs or something man? I had to kick down the door!"(Ben)

"Where.. Where's Sera?"(John)

"She stepped out to go use the bathroom. I had to transform to get you here- Your heavier than you look dude."(Ben)

John sighed in relief, relaxing in his hospital bed. Wait hospital?

"Why are we in the hospital?"(John)

"Doc hung up on me- apparently he was on a date or something- I couldn't think of anything else, you had a pulse but didn't look injured, so Clockwork was out of the question- I sped up here with XLR8."(Ben)

"..What time is it?"(John)

"Like- 2 PM, it's a Saturday though so we're good! You couldn't have passed out on a Monday?"(Ben)

The next day

"Do you hear a car?"(Ben)

"Uh- Dude car's are everywhere."(John)

"Yeah, but everywhere at 2 in the morning?"(Sera)

"Fair point.. Yeah I d- What was that?!"(John)

He said as he jumped out of his seat on the couch.

"What was what?"(Ben)

"You don't feel it?"(Sera)

"Feel what?"(Ben)

"Weaker?"(Sera)

"Uh.. No?"(Ben)

Sera's eye begun blazing a bright blue color. Indicating her ability had been activated. The world seemed to begin slipping into grayscale but.. it stopped, regaining color.

"My ability is weaker."(Sera)

"That's not good.. Ben what about y-"(John)

The sound of a shattering window cut him off as green knife flew through it, probably from an ability. John seemed caught off guard, like he should have known about it, he tackled them both to the ground to avoid it, however it grazed his side.

"We're being attacked!"(John)

"No shit sherlock! I got this, my ability isn't weakened!"(Ben)

Ben announced as he stood up, his arm reaching for the Omnitrix and slamming down on the dial...

Only for nothing to happen. Ben seemed confused

"The hell?"(Ben)

He mumbled as he tried it again, hitting the dial and once again nothing. 

Error detected, Reboot in progress, please wait.

"Shit."(Ben)

He mumbled before a flying knife shot through the already broken window, landing directly in his arm

"DOUBLE SHIT!"(Ben)
