Chapter 14

Recap:Arlo got his ass kicked.

He thought to himself as he threw his backpack as hard as he could at the floor. His body covered in blood and scratches, most of the blood was his.

"Holy shit!"(Ben)

"John!?"(Sera)

"Sera-?"(John)

"Ben!"(Ben)

"Wha-?"(John)

"I wanted to be a part of something.."(Ben)

"Arlo- When I get my hands on him-"(Sera)

"We, when we get our hands on him."(Ben)

"I-It's fine- I'll be fi-"(John)

"No. Doc'll kill you. I'm calling Elaine."(Sera)

"No. I'm fine rea-"(John)

"I call bullshit on that. I can heal you man."(Ben)

"I'm fi-"(John)

"Silencio Bruno."(Ben)

"We don't talk about Bruno."(John)

"...What the hell-"(Sera) 

"Let me fix you dude-"(Ben)

"Fine."(John)

Ben picked up his backpack

"Careful, you could've broken something."(Ben)

He said as he reached for his wrist to activate the watch then scrolled through it for a good few seconds until he found an icon he seemed to deem correct for the occasion. He pushed down on it and after a flash of green light now stood with skin that is made of golden metal, with black stripes and a transparent piece of green glass on his chest, revealing the gears inside of him.

John sighed as he prepared himself to be found out. But that didn't happen, instead he felt a sharp pain as if his wounds were healing in reverse. Opening back up and then closing as if it were being reversed in time. He opened his eyes and saw a green light almost blinding until it stopped. He felt perfectly fine again

"Huh-?"(John)

"Time control! Is what I do best."(Clockwork)

"That is a heavy accent."(John)

"So I've been told."(Clockwork)

"Huh, time manipulation? Very unique."(Sera)

He reverted to normal Ben

"Eh, if it works, it works."(Ben)

He said with a grin as he shrugged

"I mean- It did work so-"(John)

"What was with the rage?"(Ben)

"What do you mean?"(John)

"You did throw that bag pretty hard-"(Sera)

"I was just.. mad."(John)

"Because Asslo ambushed you?"(Ben)

"You knew?"(John)

"No, it's just kind of obvious- You went with him and came back messed the frick up"(Ben)

"Makes sense."(Sera)

Timeskip

The next day things started normal. Ben and John waved bye to Sera because.. Well she was still suspended and couldn't go to school. They walked to school like usual. There were noticeable bags under Ben's eye's though. Perhaps because he didn't really have to get up early usually. For some reason John had put in extra gel. Spending roughly 3 hours in the bathroom. Today was the day for those new transfer students so John had forced Ben up. Really early, to get ready, despite the fact all Ben does is get dressed then leave usually but nOoO. They walked into class together and John was.. trying to hide behind him. They walked to their usual seats and Ben was confused but too tired to really care

"Alright class, these are our new students."(Teacher)

There was a short girl with green hair red eyes standing next to a tall boy with blonde hair and green eyes

"These are Claire and Adrion."(Teacher)
