~Wonders~

Crystal Quinn never got stuck.

She was generally the person to push through whatever wall stood between her and her goals.

Though yet, at this very moment, she sits at her wood-finished desk, her head in her hands.

Stuck.

Being that she have never been stuck, she didn't know how to get unstuck.

Though she did know, she was thirsty.

She pushes her uncomfortable office chair back, stretching her sleeping legs.

She shuffles out of the room, rubbing her heavy eyelids.

Every step she took, it felt as if she had stepped on a needle and the needle then shot up to her heart cavity.

You would feel this way too, if your boyfriend of three years recently cheated on you with one of your closest friends.

Yep, absolutely stuck.

Stuck about her amazing decisions.

Stuck about the cruel harsh ways of life.

She finds her way to the kitchen, swinging the heavy fridge door open, in search of cool juice.

What do you know? There was none.

She then grabs some ice cubes, her hands tingling with the cold feeling.

She places them in a glass of water.

Her phones vibrates, sending a dinging sound through the air.

She picks it up, her eyes scanning the notifications.

She had twenty four.

Twenty two of them consisted of begging and pleading from her ex-lover and her ex-other half.

The other two consisted of texts from someone that made her heart flutter even after it was beaten.

You will soon know of this person.

She was reading the pleads when the TV screams.

Well the new's reporter screamed.

"Welcome back to Star's Life! I'm your host, Zach Karito, and this is the latest on your favorite stars lives!" The host exclaims, a wide smile plastered on his face.

Why is this crap on? She thought.

As she reaches for the remote to change the channel, the announcer says something that gets her attention.

"First up, Dakota Fin has been nominated for a Diamond Duck because of his new album, Wonders"

This makes Crystal lean back against the fridge, the magnets stabbing her back.

You already know, that Crystal is overachiever.

She went great lengths to be great.

Her life was on the right path, but the she took steps back for her past relationship, she took steps back for someone that couldn't even be honest enough to say that he had enough.

Then you have people like Dakota Fin, who are reaching the summit, and celebrating it with that special someone.

Then you have me, at the bottom of the mountain, crying tears of betrayal.

Have a nice day my crystals!
