Strict parents… broken society… high expectations, my life corrupted by laws and limitations.

I'm trapped in a closet with my secrets hidden away, frightened by the judgement of my pears, my beliefs may never see the light of day.

I'm forced to live a fake persona, pushed away from my true way of nature; Mother sways me to be a ‘clean’ overachiever, to wash away my sinful behavior.

One memorable night in a room dim-lit, my lips touch yours and I knew I had to make a life-changing switch.

Upon my secrets reveal, I'm cast aside and neglected, publicly punished and criticized for my actions.

I'm now on the road to self-discovery but there's a fork in the road. My journey brings me to a relative's home in a new zip code.

A blast from the past approaches, Jack William is his name; labeled as a prince but not corrupted by money or fame.

He's a fighter, very different from the rest of his kind. Even after all this time, he still stands by my side; lending an ear, showing interest.
