Elmer held his head down to stare at the newspaper that he wrote directions on as he roamed the streets of Harrisburg. He wasn't scared of the streets, he just felt a little antsy. One thing he realized was how different people acted and were dressed than in New York. Boys were a white button up shirt, khakis, and a pair of brown or black leather shoes. There were no vests, boots, and very small amounts of hats. One thing that wasn't new were the stares that Elmer received when he walked down the streets, a stare that he was an odd one out. He tunes them out as usual and in doing that he ran into someone, again.
    "Wow. You really are falling for me." Ellie said looking up at him while she sat on the ground, "Oh," He started to blush, "Sorry." He held out his hand and helped her up again, "I got a little distracted tryin' to find the uh,"
    "A home?" She asked interrupting him with a smirk plastered onto her face, "Follow me." She said and began walking away. Elmer obeyed, and followed close behind.
     They walked through the streets for a while in silence before they started walking on a dirt path, "So, where are we actually going?" Elmer asked after a while, breaking the silence,
    "I told you, just follow me and keep quiet." Ellie said sounding annoyed. They walked not even two steps before Ellie pulled Elmer behind a bush and help a finger to his lips to keep him quiet. They sat there for a bit before Ellie removed her hand from his mouth, "ELLIE WHAT THE F-" This time Ellie slapped her hand over his mouth shutting him up.
     Elmer was so confused, until they heard footsteps coming down the road, then he became dead silent. Once the sound grew into silence Ellie stood up, "Let's go. Quickly." She said anxiety filling her voice as she held out her hand for him to take. Elmer stood up and took her hand, "I'll explain everything later at the house." She said before taking off into a sprint, still gripping onto Elmer's hand.
